When Planet Beauty opened in sunny Newport Beach, California in 1992, we didn’t agree with the definition of a beauty retailer. Rows of little beauty counters crowded inside busy department stores surrounded by mazes of packed parking lots…mega-mall monotony. This was not our definition of beauty. I purchased a $200 plus T3 curling iron from Planet Beauty in December and it broke a few weeks ago. The company is refusing to help me with getting a replacement (unlike Amazon, Sephora, Nordstrom). I find it amazing that they don't feel any obligation to protect their customers when they receive shoddy products. I would recommend taking your business to Sephora or Amazon because again they stand by the products the sell and will help the customer get a suitable resolution to a problem such as what I experienced.
