I honestly didn’t think I would be writing a review for a laundry service this soon 😂 but here we are! I don’t have a washer hookup right now, so laundry has been one of those annoying things I have to figure out. I tried Poplin and my washer is named Wendy. Wendy has washed my clothes at least 3 times now and at this point she’s basically part of the family 😂. Every time my clothes come back clean, folded, and ready to put away. I also got a $5 credit and 50% off, so my first order was only $17.99. That made me REALLY happy because I wasn’t expecting it to be that affordable. But honestly, the biggest thing for me is the convenience. I’ve been working on getting my home together and getting out of survival mode, and having clean laundry show up folded and ready to go has helped more than I expected. I even bought hangers so I could finally get my clothes out of bags and totes and actually hang them in my closet. 🥹 Three orders later, I’m still using Poplin and I definitely plan to keep using it. The Poplin laundry service has honestly changed my life and I think you’d love it. If you live in an apartment of condo where they is no laundry on site, this is the place for you! They’ll pick up your laundry from your house and bring it back as soon as the next day—with free delivery! It’ll be washed, dried, folded, sorted—ready to be put away. It has helped with my stress and anxiety dragging everything to and from a coin laundry and freed up time to stay home and see friends.

The concierge service as well as convenience is off the hook. I have had some health challenges that make me unable to carry anything in my arms up or down my stairs and this totally takes it off my plate. The laundry comes back better than when I do it, and I’m super picky. This has literally made my life so much simpler and freed me up to focus on healing without the stress of what to do about my laundry conundrum. 6 days, 30+ contacts, and my laundry is still gone
I used Poplin for a wash/dry/fold order on August 15, 2026. My assigned "Laundry Pro" picked up my laundry and confirmed a delivery window for the next evening. Delivery never happened, and he stopped responding. First, Poplin told me his car had been towed and they would be arranging delivery in another method. Two days later, Poplin told me actually his car had been towed with my order inside, meaning he no longer had possession of my property. What followed was six days of chasing Poplin across chat and email, more than 30 individual contacts with at least 10 different support reps. Every response followed the same script: "escalated," "under review," "we appreciate your patience" with no delivery date, no refund date, and no one who could actually make a decision. Several updates were word-for-word repeats of messages I'd already received. I submitted an itemized list of my missing items totaling $1,575. Poplin's first concrete offer, six days in, was $450 cash plus $50 in Poplin credit — under a third of what was actually lost — and it required me to sign a release waiving all future claims and agreeing never to publicly criticize the company. Poplin operates by connecting customers with independent contractors it doesn't employ, vet transparently, or take responsibility for. When something goes wrong, you're on your own, dealing with a support system that seems built to wear you down rather than resolve anything. I filed a police report and would not use this service again.
