Post Partum Game Changer

My family received a gift card from a friend during my post partum days with my most recent child. This was an incredibly helpful, and thoughtful gift! Having Poplin’s laundry pro take care of my 40lbs of laundry allowed me to spend more time with my newborn! That’s precious time I can’t get back, I’m very thankful. Poplin STOLE $130+ dollars from me and refuses to refund me

Poplin stole 130 dollars from me. Admitted to me that the representative who took the order not only did not wash any of my clothes, they even damaged them. Refused to refund me the money I spent, my hand earned money despite acknowledging the order and service was not done and that they "profusely apologize". I paid for the most expensive insurance and they will not compensate me and told me they would only give me credits to use. So you're telling me the only resolution you're offering after you STOLE from me and acknowledged you did, is offer me the option to continue to use your services after you ruined over 300 dollars of my clothes and also refused to compensate me? There's permanent marker sharpie marks, bleach drips on my shorts, cat hair still all over my clothes and zero evidence of any lint or dryer residue so I am 1000% they were never ever cleaned. I also tipped this person almost 40 dollars in total so thats around $175 dollars that they refuse to return and around $250-300 in damaged clothing that they won't compensate me for even though they fully acknowledge and apologize for the bad service and the damage. It's insane. I've had to go through my bank to get the charged refunded and thankfully not only are they going to remove the last charge, they are going to file a federal report on my behalf due to poor business ethics that are heavily discouraged by any business who sells a "service" to others and includes assurances like money back guarantees, additional fees and charges for insurance that they are not standing behind, etc. This company is great when things go smooth but once they don't, they put all of the blame and responsibility on the customer and do not stand behind their work. Let me ask you this, if a plumber came to your house and got fecal matter and urine all over your home, used old piping from wherever and didnt actually snake your drain like you had paid them for, how would you feel if you confronted them, they AGREED with you that it was not acceptable and it should be made right and their resolution is to give you a "free" repair or fixture towards your NEXT plumbing needs. Do you think that would be acceptable? No. This is theft, clear and simple. Illegal. Do not support this terrible business! They do not care about their customers and they are cheap, garbage human beings. I wish nothing but the WORST for this business and hope eventually they go under for illegal business practices because god knows they are doing so now. You cannot admit to a customer that they did not receive the services they paid for and they tell them YOU get to decide how to refund them. I paid with money on my debit card, that is how I should be compensated. I do not want your free "rewash" credits. Yes, credits. Meaning the money I spent on this that I could have spent elsewhere on someone who could actually wash and dry my clothes, I can now only spend on having the service that WASNT done the first time, done a second time. That is NOT how that works. Services rendered were not what I paid for. I will get my money back the easy way or the hard way and my bank has already agreed to flag the transaction and refund me because I forwarded to them all the emails from the Poplin Concierge admitting that they did not provide the services that I paid for. As soon as they offered a full "credit", it becomes a charge I can fully dispute and have refunded. Up yours you POS MFers!

First time using the service

First time using the service! Just moved and have no washer dryer in my home or even on site! Called around to other places and they were very expensive! I placed a decent sized order with 5 bags and oversized comforters. The agent picked up on time and communicated very well. The app also does a good job of telling you the status along the way as well. Everything was dropped off and folded nicely within 24hrs! You can't beat that! Will definitely be using again regularly, so thankful for this service!

I had never heard of poplin before

I had never heard of poplin before, and came across your website which immediately prompted me to tell my friends. I actually had two friends in addition to myself who had their clothes washed. We were all delighted with the results - Tanya was on time and was of great assistance in communications since we work 10 hour days. I will continue to use this service and refer you to my friends in California. Actually, I will refer your service to all my Red Cross comrades, because we all need clothes washed when we are on deployment. What a great experience from beginning to end, and the ease in using it made it perfect for people like us! Thank you and awesome job!

Poplin has genuinely changed the way I think about outsourcing household tasks. Laundry used to be one of those things that was never technically “hard,” but somehow managed to take up an enormous amount of time and mental space—sorting it, washing it, remembering to switch it, folding it, and then dealing with the inevitable mountain when life got busy. Using Poplin felt like buying back a piece of my life. I put out bags of laundry and they come back clean, neatly folded, and ready to put away. It sounds like such a simple thing, but the relief of having an entire recurring household task simply handled is hard to overstate. What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t feel like an extravagant luxury. It feels like a genuinely useful service for real life—especially during seasons when work, kids, schedules, and everything else are competing for the same limited hours.
