I took this because our 4th son will be a sophomore this fall, and things have changed in the prep-for-college world. Plus, our 2 oldest had baseball scholarships and the 3rd one is on a military scholarship. And who knows what the 4th one will do since he's not on the same path as they were. I definitely learned a about the new tests and some skills I can teach him when he takes the tests. PLUS, who knew about how important the PSAT could be!!! It was just a little long.
The Webinar was filled with a lot of information. He gave useful test prep strategies for taking the SAT test, both the math and reading section. He also shared some info on scholarship.
I thoroughly enjoyed the webinar. I have ordered his book for my daughter to study the SAT prep book. I do wish their discount would last 48-72 hours. I am a single mom and have to discuss with her father to invest in her test prep. I did reach out to their support system.

Not a live webinar. pre-recorded, poor customer service
It was not a live webinar as advertised. None of my questions were answered, despite being told they would be addressed during the Q&A session. I was very disappointed to discover that a pre-recorded presentation was being presented as though it were a live webinar.
I have also been unable to reach customer service. I called both yesterday and today, but no one returned my calls. I also emailed customer support and have not received any response.
Unfortunately, my first impression of Prep Expert has not been a positive one. Transparency and responsive customer service are important, and this experience has fallen well short of my expectations.

Regarding customer service, we also want to clarify that we did respond to your outreach. As you requested, we called the phone number you provided, but unfortunately were unable to reach you. We also replied to the text message you sent.

Customer service agent Kristyl was extremely rude. When asked a clarifying question she keeps taking back what she was saying, stating "that was not for you, wrong response". She also accused my daughter of using fraudulent payments to book classes. First, my daughter did not even take any classes, but didn’t know that the 2k unlimited prep program had only 10 hours, as the website allowed her to keep booking classes for that week so she thought it was part of the program. 2nd, she used a prepaid card that we gave to her with a high amount of money on it that can be used to pay for many classes, and their system flagged it, resulting in them accusing her of fraudulence which is completely false. They misinterpreted everything she was explaining. My daughter apologized and explained as she didn’t see the term under the website, although 0 classes were even taken so they did not lose anything. Krystal mostly ignored her responses and cancelled the whole plan within 5 messages. Krystal had also texted her 4 different times with messages intended for someone else, confusing her which is why she called her “disorganized”. My daughter was always respectful when talking to anyone in the program, so it’s really strange of them to accuse her of “abusive behavior” toward anyone.

The decision followed a review of repeated misuse of our services, including excessive enrollment in complimentary tutoring sessions, as well as the student's interactions with our staff, which did not meet our expectations for respectful conduct. In accordance with our Terms of Service, we exercised our right to discontinue services and issued a full refund for the Unlimited Prep purchase.

The presentation was very informative. Dr. Shan Patel provided lots of accessible resources for us and I found that really helpful. The Webinar instructed me of all the colleges with national merit and top scholarships for full tuition. He also emphasized the key things to do when applying for those scholarships.
The presentation was very helpful and informative. It looks like this program is well thought out and produces higher test scores.
However, I was hesitant to sign up due to the sales pressure. We had until midnight to sign up for an all inclusive program to get the 35% discount. Also, he pushed people to sign up before the zoom call ended (pay in full) to get a few extra few courses. You would only get the extras if you signed up during the call and paid in full. He did agree to extend it for a short period after the zoom call as people were still signing up and he was ready to end the presentation. It felt “gimmicky”.
I did not like this push. It made me uncomfortable and did not feel ready to make a large purchase by a deadline.
If the 35% off was extended for a few days, I would have signed him up.
After attending the webinar I feel much more equipped to help my three kids be successful on their SAT’s & relieved to understand their great potential to earn scholarships. Very helpful!
