Reverb will not deposit my funds into my bank account because the buyer did not check a 'received' or 'delivered' button. Even though positive feedback was provided on both ends, I still can't receive my funds. Reverb still has the sale as Unknown. It should be known!

Now into the 3rd day that a seller says they shipped it, while they ONLY sent a tracking number, while still having the unit. It is a 2 day ship to me. On the 5th day, I will cancel the transaction with the credit card company as no response to my messages in 72 yours.

I have purchased two guitars through Reverb and sold two guitars through Reverb. I have had excellent experiences with them. In my last sale I was surprised by a shipping label up-charge but after working with Reverb a satisfactory result.

Reverb has too many scammers making offers on your gear. Reverb sells guitar shipping boxes that are folded in half, compromising the structure, and they don’t tell you they are folded in half and their pictures don’t show they have been folded in half. Reverb enables bad sellers who intentionally mislead buyers in their listings and who refuse returns for gear that is clearly not as described. Reverb enables FedEx and UPS to randomly add charges weeks and months after you ship a guitar with no proof the original dimensions were incorrect. I could go on and on….
A couple of things. First, lots of cool stuff at really good prices. Second, on those very rare occasions where you run across a careless or bad seller, sales through Reverb are insured. When I ordered a guitar, and the seller had done a lousy packing job, not anywhere close to the Reverb recommended guidelines for shipping instruments, and it arrived with the headstock broken, Reverb stepped right in and made things right. I'll never work with that dealer again, but Reverb stood tall and earned my full faith and trust. I've worked through them dozens of times over the last 10 years, and they've never let me down. It's a great community.
For the first time I ordered a Fender amp and it arrived with no bubble wrap and was knocked around during transit and the amp arrived with parts banging around inside. I sent a video, photos of the poor wrapping and they continue to ask me to send this information for 4 days now. They have avoided my requests for a refund, and the seller has rejected it. With amazon, Musicians Friend, there is never an issue getting a refund. Reverb is basically ripping me off by using avoidance tactics by continuing to request the evidence for the refund. After telling them the seller DID NOT include the power chord, they sent me an email requesting a video demonstrating that the amp doesn't work.

Unlike some sites that offer everything for sale, Reverb specializes in audio related merchandise. As a result, it is easier to find specific items. Also, I find the prices and descriptions to be more accurate and realistic.
Fast shipping good cabinet goes better with my 5 W head than the 4 x 12 so a single 12 is better

Thirteen days to have a human being communicate with me about my account being blocked? Never an explanation of why it was blocked. I tried six+ times to reach someone and finally just went to close my account, which I wasn't allowed to do either. Absolutely ridiculous customer service.

I think the site is excellent as far as ease of use and functionality. However, I think the fees are a bit high, ESPECIALLY Reverb Wallet. You can sell gear for free on Sweetwater if keeping your earnings within their walls to purchase more gear. You look greedy.
