I had mt sole treadmill 5 months before…

I had mt sole treadmill 5 months before it started to have issues. It completely stopped working, so they sent a technician out 3 different times, but still doesn't work. They sent me a replacement treadmill, but expected me to pay for the disposal of the broken one, and then expected me to pay again for someone to assemble the replacement. I would not recommend buying any fitness equipment from this company

Defective F65 treadmill out of the box

I purchased a new F65 treadmill directly from them (Dyaco) thinking I was getting a good product based on reviews. Out of the box, I already had issues with on screen errors with "safety key". Customer service sent some replacement parts (control consoles - both lower and upper), and the latest replacement addressed the safety key issue, however I now have a loud whisteling noise coming from upper portion of the unit (and it's not the fan). Although customer service has been quick in sending me parts, I've expressed concerns in having spent $2500 on a unit that hasn't worked since purchase and contemplating full refund. CS rep indicated there would be a 15% restocking fee should I decide to go this route. Seriously! You sell me a defective product which I have yet to even use and then threaten a restocking fee charge if I want a refund for something that doesn't work? What kind of business are you guys running? I would not recommend this product or brand to anyone given my current experience so far and although the matter hasn't been fully resolved yet, buyers BEWARE.

Frustated

Frustated I purchased a high-end treadmill from Sole Fitness hoping for reliability and performance, especially with my son preparing for track season. Sadly, this turned out to be a major DISASTER. From the beginning, the treadmill had issues. After researching more, I noticed a pattern in the reviews. I should have researched before buying the equipment. nearly every one mentions equipment arriving broken, followed by technician visits to fix it. That’s not a coincidence — it’s a systemic issue. If their products consistently require technician intervention, then why not deliver the equipment with a technician?POOR QUALITY- CHINA MAKE It’s been MORE 10 weeks and we are still waiting for the promised technician to show up. Meanwhile, our old budget treadmill (which cost a fraction of this one) is still running smoothly even after 10 years. The lack of accountability and poor customer service is shocking, especially at this price point. Buyers beware- Don’t be fooled by the hype.ITS A CHEAP PRODUCT. I regret this purchase deeply. I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

an F80 treadmill in america is $1600 in the UK the exact same treadmill is £1900. with exchange rate this is 30% more for the exact same product. maybe if it was manufactured in america this would make sense but its obviously not. price gounging for what are very average products in the first place

Bought the ST90 treadmill today in…

Bought the ST90 treadmill in November, it was delivered and they assembled it on 12/20. It broke down on 2/17, they ordered parts and the repair person finally came on 3/23. They told me they could not fix it because the screws are stripped and they would have to order more parts. I paid $4,400 for a treadmill I have only been able to use for 40 days. I’m trying to get a new treadmill or a complete refund which has not occurred yet.

Very Disappointed in this business

Very Disappointed in this business. I bought 3 Sole Bikes from them - I WAS ENSURED THEY WERE COMMERCIAL GRADE - as that was the intended use. We have only gotten maybe 30 rides out of each bike. When we reached out to get replacements parts it took 3 months to get the right part. At this point I asked for my money back. Because the product had not been able to be used. The said No. after have the bikes fixed they broke down couple months later got them fix then they broke down again. Terrible product. Very sad they can not accommodate a small business. They are aware the product is faulty and will not take responsibility for it. I asked that they take the product back for a full return. There is obviously a reason they have a 30 day return policy. Product won’t break down that soon. I just have been more skeptical of this. But I didn’t even know about it- my fault. Won’t let that happen again.

I needed a replacement part for my treadmill. Not being particularly handy I thought I would have to use a repairman to install, but Arthur patiently took 45 minutes to take me through the installation step-by-step. Don't really see that kind of customer service these days - great to see and experience!

Sole has great customer support if things go wrong.

I wanted to buy equipment from an AMERICAN company. Unfortunately my treadmill arrived with a faulty motherboard. I called customer support and they shipped parts- they did not hassle me- they were fair and ready to solve my issue. They sent Fixness Equipment out to fix the treadmill and Charley and Tyler are the BEST- super responsive and professional. I held onto their contact info in case I needed it and sure enough I had a second issue with my treadmill I just called Fixness directly to come out and paid cash- their prices are very reasonable and they were there the same day! I love my F80 treadmill and if I’d had no issues with the treadmill I’d be giving Sole a 5star rating. My biggest fear in buying a treadmill for home use is worrying about down time and costly repairs. Sole and Fixness (in San Diego) took good care of me- I’m not worried about that anymore- it’s totally worth the extra effort if things do go wrong.

We just recently purchased our second…

We just recently purchased our second F80 Treadmill. the first one was fine. the second one came- worked for one day- and then gave us an error code. So far we've been waiting over three weeks for a "technician" to come and look at our treadmill. Pretty close to a month now. That's an unacceptable business practice. My one star rating is primarily for customer service.

SOLE F80 Great Treadmill and Exceptional Customer Service

I have owned my SOLE F80 treadmill for about three years, and this was the first time I needed to contact customer service. I was honestly blown away by how easy and positive the experience was. I had no trouble getting in touch with a customer service representative, Tianna, who was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain several things in detail, walked me through troubleshooting steps, and made sure I felt confident and reassured throughout the call. What truly impressed me was the reminder that the F80 comes with a lifetime warranty on the motor. Once it was determined that the motor needed to be replaced, they immediately arranged to ship a new one out—no hassle, no pushback, just excellent service. This experience confirmed that choosing SOLE was absolutely the right decision. Quality equipment backed by responsive, professional customer service makes all the difference. I’m very thankful I invested in a SOLE treadmill and would confidently recommend it to others.

UPDATE - Had some issues, but ST90 is a fantastic machine!

Updating my rating and review, but leaving the old info in for context: While this process was a bit of a pain, I now have a working treadmill because the company was receptive and they ended up just sending a new treadmill out, which is delivered and working. The treadmill itself is truly fantastic. I highly recommend the ST90, it's an incredible machine and kicks my butt in a good way! The process was frustrating, but I don't even know that it was Sole's fault that the initial device didn't work - it felt like the setup crew broke the initial device honestly, but the bottom line is that it ended up taking 2 months to get the device, which was the only reason this isn't a 5 star. I appreciate them doing the right thing here and have to note that in my review. I want this to be a 5 Star, but I ordered the ST90 on January 25, only to have the machine not turn on upon delivery. The company has sent out 2 separate repair shipments, but neither has fixed the product, and now the earliest it can be fixed is apparently March 17, although the repairmen has noted that he doesn't think the issue lies within the replacement parts sent based on his experience. I have requested a replacement product since we're 31 days in and don't have a working product, but have not heard back. Phone support has noted there is nothing they can do other than to direct me to the online support team to try to get a fix. I just want a working device and if I get one I would love to make this a 5 star review, but we're a month out with another month until it MAY be fixed, and for a $4,000 treadmill this whole experience is just wholly unacceptable.

Sole Elliptical E95 - don’t buy it for the media interface

Bought a Sole Elliptical 95. First month very frustrated with glitchy screen, nothing seemed to work reliably, work-outs stopped for no reason. Contacted Sole and they immediately arranged to replace the console. That was good. Unable to use machine for a few weeks while this was accomplished. Once replaced, still found the media interface clunky so called to find out what I was doing wrong. Advised that it was not possible to start watching a show and then begin workout. Told that I must start my workout, then log onto a streaming service, choose something to watch and turn it on. This would take five minutes of my workout time. Hooking up headphones is also a frustration. Call Center polite but unhelpful regarding headphones. Finally just gave up on using media altogether. Using my iPad and headphones now. Happy with the workouts themselves but would never recommend buying this machine for the media interface.

Ordered Sole Elliptical

Ordered Sole Elliptical. Used it twice and console stopped working. It took almost two months of ordering parts and getting the repair guy out. They did not prioritize getting it fixed. When that was all fixed we were told the incline motor doesn’t work. So now we have to start that repair process. Followed instructions and can’t get the store display mode to stop. It is constantly running in display mode. I do not recommend this company/brand of equipment. The only positive is it is a solid piece of equipment and I like how it functions while using. If it would only work.

Look elsewhere

Ordered a F80 treadmill back in Oct 2020. Delivered about a month later due to COVID delays. Machine itself seemed well built and offered a 5 year warranty. I used it lightly/ maybe 1-2x a week, on average. Electronics died literally 5 years and 1 month after first use-almost like it had a timer. Customer support declined to help assist with the repair. Had to order new motor control board, which was on top of the not cheap original price of $1700 or so. While I do respect warranty periods-and accept that they can’t be for an infinite time period— I also do expect companies to stand by their products for the life of it. In this case I expected relief and was blankly told no, and customer support didn’t care. Never replied to my email. So I can’t really say good things about the company, and won’t be a return customer.

Great service- hassle free motor replacement

I had a really positive customer service experience with Sole Fitness. The motor on my treadmill (4 years old) started making a loud whining noise, so I recorded a short video and sent it to their support team. Within a couple of days they responded and shipped out a replacement motor without any hassle.

String you along until it's out of warranty

I bought an F63 treadmill in 2022. The speed it ran at was never anywhere near accurate and it would occasionally come to an abrupt and dangerous halt. I called customer service and they sent me a new motor controller for me to fix the machine. I installed it and the same things kept happening but the frequency of dangerous, rapid stops increased over time. I called customer service again and they told me to lube the belt more, so I did. Same thing kept happening. Call them back again... This time they want to send me a motor to replace but claim the rest of the machine is out of warranty. I believe the first time I called it was under warranty but I've now been strung along as a sole treadmill maintenance guy so long that it's no longer under warranty. Awesome. I'm not fixing their terrible and dangerous machine any more. I would not recommend you buy this machine. It is dangerous and unpredictable.

Disappointment with Sole

Please avoid purchasing treadmills or products from Sole. My experience with them has been very disappointing, and I consider them an unreliable company. I ordered a treadmill ( F85) over three months ago and am still waiting for a replacement. Initially, they sent a damaged treadmill, which I returned. The second delivery was handled by Ryder, a delivery partner for Sole, and they are unable to locate my treadmill. According to their latest information, Ryder received the treadmill over a month ago, but they do not know its current whereabouts. My experience with Sole has been very frustrating, and I believe they are not a trustworthy company. I recommend choosing a different brand to ensure peace of mind when making such a purchase.

Beware—check with the company about receptions of non-functioning equipment

As Diane stated in her 1/5 review, if I could I would give a zero rating for this equipment and for Sole Fitness customer service! We purchased an ST90 treadmill for over $3700 the end of December 2025 only to have it delivered out of the box not functioning. We contacted support within 48 hours as we received the treadmill on a Saturday and their offices were closed. Tech support (two different people) told us that we would need to have a third party technician come out to diagnose the problem of which they could not give us a time or date as to when they could come since we would be the one contacting the technician. We elected to replace the bottom console ourselves (which as Diane stated in her review), looked as though it was just thrown in the box with bubble wrap and a handwritten part number written on the part. My husband and I replaced the part and we still received the safety key error not detected. We were told on two separate occasions via tech support, that it is standard procedure that Sole Fitness receives the equipment from the factory (not sure if this is true for all their equipment maybe just the ST90), takes it out of the box, puts it together to makes sure it works, then takes it apart only to put it back in the box before shipping it to the customer. Now does that make any sense? Wouldn't you check the functioning of the equipment at the factory before putting it in the box? We contacted Sole Fitness via email to have an RMA, as we no longer trust the machine or the company. They stated that we must pay for the shipping and pick up fee as well as the restocking fee, even though Sole Fitness failed to provide us with a brand new functioning treadmill. We are willing to pay for the shipping and pick up, but we DO NOT believe that we should have to pay the $370 restocking fee as we did not receive a functioning piece of equipment. We want this treadmill out of our home. Sole Fitness states on their website under the RMA that one must pay the restocking fee for ANY reason, but how do we know what the reason is when we have never been able use it. WE DO NOT WANT A REFURBISHED MACHINE repaired with parts from who knows where. We entered into a contract that we were purchasing a new ST90 not one with replacement parts. We hope Sole Fitness does the right thing and refunds our $4600 minus the shipping and pick up fees.
