LOVE SpotHero

LOVE SpotHero! My friend recommended SpotHero, he uses all the time in San Francisco, Ca. I used it once, and I was happy in how it worked and how much it saved me from paying a regular parking fee. Unfortunately, last time I used while parking at the hotel we were staying, our car got towed due a huge lack of communication, it was not our fault, we parked in regular spot, didn't do anything wrong, yet they towed our car due some construction. I simply contact and mentioned that I shouldn't pay for a parking that towed my car. SpotHero asked for proof, I sent it, they further investigated and offered to refund me for the expense of the tow fee. As an ADA, after being mistreated, discriminated by the hotel manager. It was so touching and gratifying to be treated with so much attention and care by the team at SpotHero. I will spread the word, and will be a loyal customer for ever. Highly recommend!

My experience with SpotHero was a Disaster

My experience with SpotHero was a complete disaster from beginning to end. The biggest problem wasn't even the extra $30 parking charge. When I returned to Philadelphia at approximately 2:30 AM, I could not get into the garage to retrieve my vehicle. SpotHero's information indicated there was a nighttime entrance. I searched for it. There was no accessible nighttime entrance that I could find. I was stranded in the middle of the night and had no choice but to pay for an Uber and return later to retrieve my car. When I finally returned, I was charged an additional $30 because my reservation had expired. SpotHero's explanation was that my reservation ended at 9:00 AM and that I was responsible for the additional parking time. While they explained their policy, they completely ignored the fact that I had already been inconvenienced by being unable to access the garage when I needed my car. Their resolution? A $5 SpotHero credit toward another reservation. After an experience like this, why would I ever use SpotHero again? Between the inaccurate access information, the unnecessary Uber ride, the additional parking charge, and the dismissive customer service, this was one of the worst parking experiences I've had. I will not use SpotHero again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone who needs dependable parking. ZERO STARS OR LESS for them jacking me around and ultimately screwing me over.

Consistent ease of parking and service

Consistent ease of parking, and I appreciate the rating system and photos to check out the area before booking. I had issues recently with a parking garage and their in/out policy but SpotHero was very willing to work with me. The resolution was to input credits into my SpotHero account to use for future parking opportunities, along with refunding the mistaken balance that I hadn't used my parking time on. That worked for me because I plan to continue using SpotHero for some of my parking needs in dense metro areas :) I didn't find their customer service to be extremely hard to work with, they use real people and not AI as I know a lot of us appreciate, haha.

The gentleman who was standing at the beginning of the garage was VERY helpful and kind. Made parking easy! He was also VERY helpful and kind getting me out of the garage. I would recommend SpotHero!

The lot under the El tracks was full of…

The lot under the El tracks was full of pot holes, water, and dirty. It was poorly lit and scary. I opted to park elsewhere, as I felt quite unsafe.

Despite every effort I could not find the parking lot

I arrived at the location, but found no clear markings indicating where the entrance or even the parking lot was. I drove around the block three times, without success. Since I had to get to the venue where my event was occurring, I gave up, paid $40 for another parking lot and therefore forfeited my prepayment. I am extremely unhappy. It would have been useful to have exact directions, and even a picture of the entrance to the parking lot.
