I had a frustrating experience when leaving a parking structure arranged through Spot Hero. Though the parking garage allowed for my entry, when I attempted to leave the next morning, the automatic gate control did not recognize my rental license plate, and requested a large additional payment, not recognizing my prepaid arrangement through Spot Hero. It turns out that the license plate on my rental car had two small additional letters in the margins, which seemed inconsequential when I first entered the plate number in my agreement. However, a service agent assisted me in amending my agreement with Spot Hero, correcting the license plate information, and the parking structure gate eventually opened without any additional payment. I very much appreciate the service agent's assistance.

Not Great if you want to get out of the city after the game.

The parking garage was fine. However, after the game ended it put you in the worst place to try to get out of the city. I would definitely not purchase here again.

I felt like a movie star

I felt like a movie star. I brought a group of friends to see Phish at MSG and they all thought I broke the bank to get such great parking. It was relatively cheap considering it's New York City and it was such a breeze to go in and barely waited at all on the way out of the show. This is my new spot to park at for MSG shows.

Spot Hero is a SCAM

Spot Hero sponsors garages that do not accept Spot Hero. On two separate occasions, I prepaid the parking garage fee and when I got to garage, I was informed they do not accept Spot Hero or any 3rd party company. One another occasion, I prepaid using Spot Hero but garage was closed for renovations so needed to go elsewhere. On another occasion, barcode scan from Spot Hero would not open garage gate to enter. This just seems to be a huge scam. At very least, Spot Hero does not investigate garages they sponsor. Just a huge headache and will never use service again. I should have learned after three awful experiences but 4th time is the charm!

Waiting for reimbursement of overcharge

The process and parking was easy. I reserved a spot online and prepaid. The lot was easy to find ( 187 E64th St in NYC) and service was good. However, I gave my ticket to my son to pick up the car and upon exiting he was charged an additional $24.00 I’ll update this review if/when I receive reimbursement.

I had a situation with one of your…

I had a situation with one of your parking vendors outside of Dulles Airport in Washington DC. They ended my reservation 3 hours before the paid parking contract expired. I raised these concerns with spothero! They took my concerns very seriously, escalated it to the appropriate team, and had a talk with that vendor. Cris is a wonderful support specialist who gives the platform credibility and legitimacy. I feel confident knowing Spothero is here for me if an issue comes up. Thank you all for a job well done!

I love the service

I love the service! Was very easy to purchase the the ticket and to park. It’s nice to know that you have a reserved spot. Except it was five dollars cheaper if I had waited and purchased the ticket at the lot on game day.

No elevator!!! Not disability fríendly

Choose this parking on spot hero as it was very close to the roger’s centre for a bluejay game. No elevator to accommodate my 86 year old mother. Nothing was advertised that elevator was not available. I will never park there again.

DO NOT TRUST SPOTHERO

I prepaid for a guaranteed parking reservation through SpotHero months in advance, only to arrive and find out spot was taken. SpotHero was unable to provide an alternative, and we missed our event! A reservation is meaningless if it isn’t honored. Do NOT trust SpotHero.

Doesn't work well

I was able to sign up and pay for monthly parking at a lot close to where I need to be. However, the parking lot never emailed me, and I had to go into the office several times to actually get a card. Meanwhile, I had to pay nightly for overnight parking during the period of time I had already paid for monthly. The parking manager told me spot hero just doesn't work well with their systems. Now, I can't log in to spot hero, nor can I reset my password. It just says "something went wrong try again later" and when I try to reset, I don't get the reset email. This has now persisted over a week. Spot hero makes nothing easier other than parting me with my money. I should have just looked up close parking lots and gone to the office directly.

Almost always lowest pricing

Almost always lowest pricing, great customer service when there is an issue. Would be 5 stars if parking was reserved, but I occasionally arrive to find the garage/lot is full.

Fantastic app for parking reservations

Fantastic app for parking reservations. Easy to use, and I love the fact that they support the app with actual human customer service support, reachable by phone! Very impressive and helpful. I’ve used this app often over the last few years in Manhattan.

Great customer service.

Easy directions, was able to change reservation with no problems. Got through to customer service agent easily and quickly. Will definitely use again.
