Reserving a space

Reserving a space, reviewing the amenities of the various parking companies, and instructions on how to get to the reserved space is always an easy, quick task. I had to cancel a reserved spot last year and it was super easy. This program is amazing.

Nightmare

Not only was my experience Rude but I was extremely disappointed. I have used this Hotel before so my expectations were high. The man whom was driving me did not care that I needed to leave for the airport “after he was 10mins late “ he took his time to say the least. When we landed I called to make sure the shuttle would be on it’s way. It was early so the boy on the phone was Not great to speak to. My Biggest Issue was the fact is was pouring Rain and the driver had no courtesy to at least drop us off at the top of the back parking lot. He could of then still made the loop to pick up the next group. This was awful. Pulling all our luggage in the pouring Rain at 5AM to our car. 😡 The mandatory parking is the parking lot at the back of the building at the bottom. Not Great. If this had been my first experience, I would have been Horrified!

Last week I used AboutAirportParking to select Discount Parking FLL's new offsite lot at the Marina on Griffin Rd. This lot is not really mentioned at the discountparkingfll.com site which describes their other lot. The lot is gated and if you are early or late in the day, the gate will be closed but as soon as I pulled up, the attendant walked over to open it. She immediatly parked my car and the van driver took us to the airport - about 8 minutes away. On return, I called the number on the claim check but it was for the main lot, not the marina lot but the agent gave me the correct number to call and the driver showed up in about 10 minutes. The bright pink van is un-missable. The folks I dealt with were very good, friendly, etc. The Griffin/marina lot was the cheapest around and I also used the $5-off coupon code to help even more. To get to the lot, get off I95 at Griffin heading West and make the 1st right after the tracks and drive up to the gate, straight ahead. I recommend to DiscountParkingFLL that they update their website with the info about the new lot including directions.
