False Advertising Through Images

False Advertising Through Images: Many of the images in the listing did not accurately represent the products we received. Even the company catalog we requested failed to properly reflect the items delivered in our order on Alibaba.com. While the pricing was competitive, we are seeking long-term partnerships with suppliers and need clarity on the exact products we’d be ordering. Unfortunately, this lack of accuracy in their listings makes it difficult to establish trust or confidence in future orders. If the company were to invest time and effort into creating accurate, high-quality listings and catalogs, they could do very well. However, as it stands, they are likely to disappoint customers because the products received don’t match the images shown. For any business aiming to build lasting relationships with buyers, accurate representation is essential.

GOOD and BAD depending on products

There are alot of good manufacturers on there. For instance I bought and had exterior bifold doors manufactured and it was a legit experience. Most of the car sellers though are SCAMMERS! EDGE WAY (s) MOTORS LLC, KING MOTORS LT. LLC these guys all work together and SCAM YOU out of as much money as they can get from you! If yopur gut is telling you its too good to be true...IT IS! They use a made up insurance company called AA insurance and a bogus shipping company names UP COAST Shipping. GOOD LUCK if your trying to buy cars from most if not all of the suppliers on there!

I would order the product again

The product arrived as described and ahead of schedule. The product arrived in two boxes and both boxes were badly damaged resulting in some chipping of the plastic foundation and the wooden frames in the other box were almost falling out upon arrival but they did not and were not damaged.

No VOEC accountability.

Expensive service to use, and you end up paying tax twice. Alibaba is VOEC registered but it makes no effort to ensure sellers correctly document shipments to prevent double taxation. Alibaba disputes paperwork you provide and typically tries to claim import tax is not the same as VAT. You also loose any of the additional fees charged for the processing.

Response to fault enquiry was slow

Response to fault enquiry was slow. Needed repeated emails to get follow up questions answered. When replacement parts were supplied, no further assistance to help calibration checks. Sending whole test equipment to China is cost prohibitive so companies need to assist customers in timely manner. Even though test equipment is now useable (un-calibrated), it is now a backup instrument as I purchased new replacement instrument from another supplier due to delays in getting fault fixed.

Not too bad

Alibaba fulfils my sourcing needs. Though you need to sieve through alot of suppliers before finding one you can work with. Reporting IP theft to Alibaba is almost impossible. We have a professional photographer for our products, and found some Chinese stores had stolen our photos and used on their Alibaba stores. Alibaba wanted proof the original photos which meant our photographer signing up, find the stolen photos, file a case. Sounds easy right? Wrong! Impossible to navigate.

Great customisation feature//A coupons problem

I liked the immediate communication with the supplier that made extreme customisation possible. Unfortunately, I paid unexpectedly high customs which displeased me. The customer service was decent but it can be improved , also I continually asked for a 20$ coupon because I was counting on one that I didn't get but I received no help. Adding to this, the coupon that I got when I created my account expired 2 days before I make my first order. I truly believe that these welcome coupons shouldn't expire or at least expire in 14 days not only 7. Overall I liked that it is an easy-to-use platform and especially the trade assurance feature.
