Conversely, a small portion of people felt that certain employees provided exceptional assistance and knowledge, going above and beyond for the shopper's needs. Some reviewers experienced timely and efficient deliveries, or found store associates genuinely helpful with product guidance. Conversely, other individuals pointed out problems like receiving damaged appliances, instances where delivery drivers left items inappropriately, or receiving inaccurate items after ordering online.

I bought fridge in late Feb. with delivery on 4/1. Paid cash. Had to cancel order when apt fell through. Applied for refund late March and was told to go to store to get refund. Once there, was told since it's an appliance and paid cash, must wait for check. First told 7-10 business days, then 10-14, then 21 days. It's late June and still no refund! WTF!
the product was not in stock, the website showed 8 they had none staff said that other people came in looking for same product. this has happed a few times. so why they they not updated the website instead of wasting our time to drive there.
The creepiest creeps of all creeps. Way overpriced. They have cameras all over everywhere stalking customers with that very creepy beeping noise whenever someone walks by their cameras. Very hateful hostile attitudes towards customers. The self checkout registers invade customers privacy with that camera. They're all slimy creeps with their monopolistic abusive over priced crappy products designed to break and fall apart. The store has illegal aliens with fake or stolen identities.
Hello, Our delivery person was rude, lazy not cooperative. The service was downright horrible. We asked and paid for a delivery of a rug 12ftx21ft... he said he needed a forklift to get it off the truck bed. My husband literally came out took it off the truck bed by himself. That’s all we wanted him to do was take it off the truck ; he was rude and literally stood there as my husband took the carpet off the truck. Horrible horrible way to start off a morning and his attitude was just as bad. A very disappointed regular customer of home depot sadly disappointed .
Horrible delivery service - no consequences for multiple failures
Like many others experienced. Home Depot delivery of appliances is worse than horrible. Three times they said they were delivering my refrigerator from their Suitland, Maryland warehouse. First time they claimed their truck was too big to get onto the street. Second time delivery was supposed to be 7-11:30AM. They called between 5-6 AM. Shortly after 7AM they left because they didn't reach the unit's owner. He gave them my number and they never called me. Third time they again were delivering between 7-11:30. I called multiple times during the morning and they confirmed it was set for delivery. Around 10 AM they said I was #7 in delivery order and they were delivering #5 at that time. No word by 11:30. Called and they now said it would be delivered the next morning, without any explanation. Who ever is contracted to do delivery for Home Depot must have an iron clad contract or be related to an owner. They clearly know they can do anything they want without consequences. Otherwise the company would have been fired by now.
Home Depot not holding Vendor accountable for not honoring warranty
I bought a Badger weed eater unit last November but did not open it until June. After opening and filling with gas and oil I noticed a leak coming from the engine. Smelled like a combination of gas and oil. Unit fell outside of the 90 day return policy, so I contacted the vendor to get the unit serviced at a "Local authorized service dealer" as stated in the warranty document that came with the unit. After providing proof of purchase and pictures of the broken, never used badger, I received a gas tank in the mail for me to replace. This was not the problem, I asked via email for a local service location where I could take the unit, the vendor responded by asking me to send the unit to them at my expense. I refused and repeated my request for a local service dealer. The vender stopped communication at this point. I called Home Depot customer care and asked them to advocate for the fulfillment of the warranty directly to their vendor. Customer Care wrote an email to the vendor and told me that they would call me back in 24 to 48 hours. I heard nothing back from Home Depot customer care in 8 days so I called them back. The customer care rep told me that the vendor never replied and that Home Depot could doing nothing more to hold their vendor accountable for not upholding the warranty.
I ordered a bag of Moss OUT on June 14, and then I received a message from Home Depot saying the delivery would be delayed by 1-3 days. I have not received the product or any updates on my order. Then I called its customer service number on June 22. They said the order cannot be processed and asked me to cancel the order. No apology, no compensation.
I would give them a 0 star if it would let me. Deceptive pricing and rude customer service when I ask a simple question. I will no longer use home depot I have started going to lowes Instead.
Used Home Depot foNo complaints reallyr a recent purchase…
Used Home Depot for a recent purchase and it was alright. Everything arrived well packaged and in good condition. The packaging was a bit excessive for what I ordered. Solid overall and worth a look.
Placed an order on Monday, 6/15. Order showed item would arrive by Friday, 6/19. Received message that says item is now arriving Saturday, 6/20. All that Home Depot has done, is packaged the item - 4 days to only package the item. The item has not even shipped yet; however, it shows it's being delivered tomorrow. Needless to say that it is more likely than not that they will not deliver on 6/20. It will probably arrive some time next week. Extremely disappointed with the logistical issues. Home Depot is a failure. The store near me does not have cashiers, and it's a mess with huge delays. Trying to cancel the order is useless. They took my money on day 1 though. Total disappointment - but what else is new.
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. Bought $6000 worth of appliances. Took a month for them to deliver. Once the delivery driver arrived, they refused to remove the old appliances I paid Home Depot to take away. After speaking with the driver and suggested he call the store, he jumped in the truck and drove away with all the appliances I had purchased. Never took them off the truck. I called Home Depot and they told me they could reschedule delivery a month away. Ended up having to cancel the order and order from Lowe’s. Should have went with Lowe’s to start with. Buyer beware. DO NOT buy from Home Depot. Worst company ever. Very bad experience and I will never spend a dime with Home Depot ever again.
Home Depot at SHALLOTTE NORTH CAROLINA. I would like to write a comment about my experience with JANE EYRE at Home Depot in Shallotte north Carolina. JANE EYRE helped me with a return of a purchase that was the wrong size. JANE EYRE was very cheerful and extremely helpful. The most impressing skill JANE EYRE showed was her ability to communicate with expertise and friendliness. She showed great service for your company that you would be so proud of.She should help train your new employees and how they react with your customers. I have retired from a medical practice of 40 years and the success of my practice was determined on how we treated our patients.I really hope the CEO of Home Depot sees this review. JANE EYRE is truly a diamond in the ruff find. Hold on to her with both paws she is an exceptional employee and has been with you for a long time. Please recognize her achievements for your business, especially her many years of loyalty. Thank you HOME DEPOT YOUR PEOPLE ARE WHAT MAKES YOUR BUSINESS HEADS AND SHOULDERS ABOVE YOUR COMPETITION!!!

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Home Depot Delivery Service
Extremely Disappointing Experience with Home Depot Delivery Service – Order #H0723-328679
I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience with Home Depot regarding my recent appliance purchase and delivery.
On May 24, 2026, I purchased a washer and dryer from the Brentwood Home Depot store. The products were both LG models:
• LG 7.4 Cu. Ft. Vented Smart Electric Dryer with TurboSteam and Sensor Dry Technology
• LG 7.5 Cu. Ft. Stackable Smart Front Load Washer with TurboWash 360 Technology
At the time of purchase, both units appeared to be in stock, and the delivery dates provided were May 28. The reason I decided to purchase from Home Depot was specifically because the delivery date of May 28 was guaranteed.
I want to emphasize that these same appliances were available at Costco for approximately $600 less. However, I chose Home Depot and paid the additional $600 because I trusted the guaranteed delivery commitment. I had upcoming international travel plans for both my children and myself, and having these appliances delivered on time was extremely important.
When May 28 arrived, the delivery had still not happened by 8:00 PM. I attempted to track the order using the information provided and contacted customer service. I was told that the delivery would be moved to the following day. I explained my travel situation and my concerns, then ended the call.
On May 29, I contacted customer service again and was assured that the delivery would definitely be completed that day. However, despite calling three separate times throughout the day, the delivery still did not happen. During my final call, I was informed that the delivery had actually been canceled by the delivery company.
This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Throughout this process, I spent many hours contacting Home Depot customer service. I had to call approximately 3–5 times per day, and each call required 25–30 minutes of waiting and coordination.
Later, I spoke with Customer Service Manager Lisa, who informed me that the order had been accidentally canceled by the delivery company. I explained the urgency of my situation, my upcoming international travel, and the fact that I had specifically paid $600 more because of the guaranteed May 28 delivery date.
Lisa explained that the earliest possible delivery date would be June 2. Since I would already be traveling by then, she worked to move the delivery date to June 1.
The appliances were finally delivered on June 1.
Because of this failure, I had to make changes to my travel plans, deal with unnecessary stress, and spend a significant amount of time trying to correct a problem that should never have happened.
After the delivery was completed, Lisa asked me to contact Home Depot regarding compensation. I want to clarify that my concern was never about receiving a $50 or $100 credit. The issue was that Home Depot failed to honor the delivery commitment that was the main reason I chose to purchase from Home Depot instead of a competitor.
The guaranteed delivery date was the deciding factor in my purchase decision, and unfortunately, that commitment was not respected. The situation was repeatedly delayed, communication was poor, and I felt that the seriousness of my situation was not understood.
This experience also made me realize that Home Depot uses third-party delivery providers, and once the order leaves Home Depot, customers appear to have very limited control or support regarding delivery scheduling. The lack of accountability between Home Depot and the delivery provider created a very frustrating customer experience.
Additionally, the delivery personnel who arrived had very limited English communication ability, which made the situation even more difficult to coordinate.
I have been a Home Depot customer and expected a much higher level of service and reliability from such a well-known company. Unfortunately, this experience has been a major disappointment, and because of the delivery issues and lack of accountability, I would hesitate to recommend Home Depot to others for major appliance purchases.
I hope Home Depot reviews this situation seriously and improves the coordination and responsibility between the company and its delivery partners.

If I explicitly type in the size of the pipe I am searching for, I would expect the results to be limited to the specified size. Instead, I am presented with mostly results that have the incorrect size clearly marked. This is an astounding waste of my time, due to the very bad web design of the site.
