The hotel we always stay at is always clean, has good parking, surrounded by great restaurants, stores, grocery stores. And a plus, it’s close to family too.

Motel 6 on Taylor Street is a great location and the room was spotless. I stayed there last August. And before that in May. I have stayed there many times before as I travel through the area I was scheduled to go in October, but canceled and a company posing as Motel 6 made a reservation for me and I was charged a great deal of money for something that I did not go to. It was in October 2025. It would be nice if someone could find out where my refund is.
I've been coming to this Motel for years. Yes there have been a few issues here and there but the rooms have always been clean and comfortable. Staff is always ready to help if you do have an issue.
The motel 6 in troutdale, oregon is deplorable. I would not suggest that anyone stay there. I can't think of one thing good, and we left after trying to get manager to get AC running. They let us sweat in our room for half an hour with no remorse and no remedy.
I was going to use my app for a multi-day stay but the manager told me he could give me the same price so I paid him and went about my stay. The next day, I realize he charged my card $56 MORE THAN the app price. I go to the office and he argues with me even after I show him the app price. Very unprofessional!

This visit by far wasn't a pleasant one. There was no phone in the room, my TV remote didn't work, had to walk to the front desk, and they had to turn the volume up and down with their remote. I had no control over it, I was only able to change the channels. The door lock was Janky. When I stayed there over a year ago, I never had this problem, by far the worst stay. When I asked to exchange rooms or get a refund and I'll go else where, I was told No that he couldn't switch me. So if I ever decide to stay here again, I'll have to bring my iwn universal remote. It was very aggravating having to walk to front desk to get the volume turn up or down since there was no mutton on the TV to do so

I like the vinyl floors in Motel 6! Unlike carpets, when they are clean, they are really clean. I like that when I travel with my pet they will be welcome without a big fuss or upcharge.

I’ve stayed at Motel 6’s for years, and rarely have I had a bad experience. In the past 6 mos, I’ve stayed in Spokane, WA and in Bend, OR. Both hotels were clean, quiet, and had very pleasant staff. I travel with dogs, so I always choose Motel 6 because I know they’ll be welcome and with no hidden fees.
