Safe exactly as described
Safe exactly as described. Accurate dimensions and specs. Did take more than anticipated to be delivered but delivery was as perfect as can be. Packed well with adequate protection against damage. Box in which safe arrived was on a wood pallet but bottom of cardboard box cut away, so a simple matter to raise box and inspect the safe. Driver offered to take packing materials away. He refused a tip even though took time to bring safe into our garage as requested. Would have wheeled it into house but we were not ready for it.
Everything went as expected
Everything went as expected, smooth and easy until it came to putting the lag bolts in. The socket that was sent with the kit worked great for the hinge side, however when it came to the dead bolt side the shoulder on the socket was to big to fit in the whole. I then had to take a grinder to the socket to shave the shoulder down to get the depth needed to tighten the lag bolts.

Shipping crate was coming apart!
The shipping crate was probably beyond the control of the Safe and Vault Store, but I have to mention that the condition of the receiving box was in very poor shape! I'm glad the interior components were unscathed due to the extra packing material and the design of the stacking structure for the safe pieces. I did not complain about this since everything was undamaged, but I'll mention it here in this review. The shipment was ahead of schedule and the estimate provided by S&VS was accurate. I may buy another item in the near future, depending on my needs!
