God, getting my custom domain to point where it was supposed to right before a pop-up had me ready to throw my laptop out the Brooklyn window while sitting on the living room floor surrounded by tape. Their support agent actually stayed with me through the DNS headache until it finally cooperated. Mobile editing is still a total nightmare to sort out, I won't lie. But checkouts don't crash when inventory moves fast, and honestly, that's half the battle.

It was clear security was a priority. This was frustrating at first because we had a staff member leave and didn't know some of the info we needed. But as we went along we got there! I appreciated that at least it seemed like I was talking to a real person through email. I hope to the Good Lord that it wasn't AI. But alas, this is the world we are living in. And thus, the clear emphasis on security is comforting.

The website is buggy. It's hard to log in. Also, for domain renewal, the website make is look as though you will be charged on the renewal date. I am organized and cancelled my domain that I no longer wanted, 1 week before renewal, but the funds had already been taken out 8 days before. If you're going to do this, make it clearer about charging 15 days before renewal.

We were cancelled from our email campaigns after an error, in which we had documented proof! If Squarespace is a DIY platform, then you need to allow users to make honest mistakes, and you need to have customer support to promptly rectify these instances. Now, we’re left no email campaigns just days before our critical medical conference — and no one whose responsive enough to get back to us! Unacceptable!

I decided to update my website so moved it over from elsewhere. It was really easy and I was surprised at how easy it was to build. I contacted support once and they were brilliant. I also use their scheduling and bought my domain name through Squarespace.

I did an upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 it broke my website, I succeeded to find some workaround for some part and in some other parts I have an internal server error. I contacted Squarespace to get some help 4 days ago but still no answer . my website is still stuck if it's not solved soon I will probably change platform even if I missed with Squarespace more than 10 years..

I have built very basic websites on multiple other platforms. I was very surprised how limiting your web builder was. I just wanted to move texts around, adjust pictures and so much of the time the grid made it hard to move things. And then when I didn’t like the template it sss difficult to change. I think the whole AI thing was build with good intentions but I had a horrible experience with it and then when I tried to build one without it it was also bad. Sorry to be so negative but I feel like it was over engineered to make things “easy” but then it still want easy and it lost a lot of the ability to design a website they way you want. I feel like I wasted a lot of time trying to some very basic things.

For someone with a little bit of tech knowledge who doesn’t want to spend lots of time and mental energy on a website build, Square Space is perfect! It’s intuitive, easy to use and there are lots of helpful articles and videos if needed. It’s priced right and they have fantastic customer service. I definitely recommend!

I have been having an extremely difficult time making a basic landing page ( or home page). I paid for a full year subscription in June. 2 1/2 months into my yearly subscription, I accomplished very little, after spending countless hours going around in circles. I will spend a few more hours this coming week and see if I complete this ONE TASK.

The response to my contact was quick but did not come with a quick solution. In fact, I never got a solution from tech support. It was taking too long to get any type of solution that I went ahead and deleted the page that was giving me problems and then spent the time needed to replace that page.

I had contact with four Squarespace representatives, and each one was terrific. It's unusual to find customer service at this level. Everyone was prompt, informative, and supportive. It was a pleasure from start to finish.
