What people say

Great Customer Service

Contacted Wahoo following an issue with a Kickr turbo trainer mat purchased through an external seller, Sigma Sports, who had refused to acknowledge any fault with the product. However, having contacted Wahoo direct, they were exemplary & agreed to replace the item at no charge, despite the fact that it was not purchased direct with themselves.

built in obsolescence on top tier products

built in obsolescence throughout their top end trainer models and short historical product support has left a 1000 pound product 'bricked' needing a 50 pound part that they no longer supply and is a proprietary part so cannot be sourced anywhere else. Thanks Wahoo, and thanks for the customer service that consisted of suggesting I look at the later versions of the same product as they have made some good revisions... no doubt they will contain planned obsolescence too, no thanks. Plenty other companies, I will be taking my money elsewhere from now.

Wahoo Kickr support excellent

I bought the newly released Wahoo Kickr bike in 2020. My wife and I loved it. We had some reliability issues and engaged with support. I really cannot fault the support service. Absolutely brilliant. Quick response diagnosis and spare part issuing. Second bike replacement happening soon. Note that version two of the bike may have resolved many issues.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. For over five months I have not been able to consistently get my wahoo core trainer to work with my wahoo element head unit. Wahoo keeps sending me interventions that I am supposed to do. They have refused to give me new equipment or refund my money. Buyer beware of Wahoo

Rival Smart Watch

Bought a Rival smart watch, which loses time as soon as it is not connected to the app or the head unit. The response from Wahoo was, yes we know about that failure, it only works if connected. Now as far as I can see in the spec, it does not say this anywhere. So if you want a watch that doesn't keep time, this is the product for you! Who wants a watch that only works when it is connected? Not me

Highly recommended - Wahoo Fitness customer service provides exceptional services

It's very seldom I give any customer service / company recommendation - but in the case, I simply have to address an extraordinary customer service from Wahoo Fitness. I simply love my 2024 Kicker Bike as it has been improved over the years hence making almost no noise when spinning and so easy to adjust to your favorite bike fit measures. I can warmly recommend purchasing any product from Wahoo - and if you have any issues with the product just reach out to an extra ordinary customer service experience. Have fun! Thomas

Wahoo? More like Wooooeful

Ordered an Elemnt Rival watch which arrived promptly, but the build quality was awful. The backlight spilled out of the crown and is obviously a defect. Trying to contact support via live chat is unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. You have to navigate through the standard replies before speaking to a human, and then it's long periods of silence. Worse still, every time you enter live chat, it generates a new support ticket, so any ongoing issue is pushed to the back of the queue. And with regards to my faulty watch: I was asked to break it (yes, physically break it to the point it's unusable) and send them evidence to get a replacement. I'm still waiting for acknowledgement of this... not a great first impression of Wahoo.

Have NOTHING to do with Wahoo!

I bought a Wahoo Kickr Snap in March 2020 at the time when COVID-19 lockdowns were announced. I am a certified Spinning(R) Instructor, and I needed a cardiovascular training resource for home use since my gym would be closing. The Snap has NEVER worked properly nor has the app ever yielded correct training results. On a Spinner or Technogym indoor cycle, I routinely log 200 to 250 watts average for a one-hour training ride. The Snap has always produced grossly excessive resistance and yielded extremely low power results of 150 to at best 200 or so watts for just a 40-minute ride. I've conducted numerous Spindown calibrations plus several "Factory spindowns" per the instructions of Customer Service. These have had minimal results at best and have never resolved the problem. Numerous contacts with Customer Service have failed to remedy the problem. I've discovered via Facebook and other training app forums that many folks have this same problem with no resolution. Additionally, I cannot access my Wahoo fitness data on a standard computer but only on my phone. Several contacts with Wahoo resulted in my being given a noisome runaround with some "secure" communications channel that doesn't work. Eventually, after about two months, they posted what they claimed was a ZIP file of my training data but was only a series of blank files. Having owned a TICKR, a SNAP and a Cadence sensor - plus my experience with their app the latest version of which is burdened down with convoluted advertising, has defective buttons and pages that don't load, I'm convinced that Wahoo is a useless company with employees that simply don't care about their customers. I will never buy another Wahoo product nor will I recommend Wahoo to my clients.

Customer support amazingly BAD and so the Rollr as well

I have bought the Kickr Rollr with the Zwitf app as they recommend. The Rollr not connecting properly with Zwift and I have tried to ask for help. Their customer support is slow and useless. I could find more help on Youtube than they could provide. The Rollr do not work so the hardware is not working for sure, but they do not help to change or give my money back. I also asked them to tell me where could I rate their work and they close the subject on their support ticketing without giving me any answer. I know these products are convincing, but do not fall for it. There are plenty of better with better customer service. I'M not sure how I will get rid off my rollr now. :(

Two products. Two breakdowns. Zero help.

I bought two products from Wahoo and both broke. Be warned: Wahoo runs a nasty little scam where they won't repair or replace their own products unless you provide THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT from when you bought it. A customer service lead called "Devon" smugly informed me that it's in their small print online, which apparently I'm supposed to have read when I bought the product. Now they are totally refusing to fix or replace the £300 trainer even though I found THOUSANDS of customers online with the same problem and a video from their CEO admitting it.

Wahoo Kickr Bike

I purchased the Kickr Bike on September 25, 2023 only to have the Bottom Bracket break within 3 months of use. Since that time, I have had an incredibly poor customer service experience trying to find a resolution to the problem (which I still do not have). I am constantly trying to attain details on what is being done, only to be responsed to sporadically with little to no detail. Extremely frustrating when I have spent a large amount of money for a designated indoor trainer only to have it break within 3 months of use and then to have such a poor customer experience (which still isnt resolved). You may want to look at other options before considering Wahoo.

XDR/XD Freehub Body

I ordered an XDR/XD Freehub Body on 12.29.2023. It was scheduled for delivery by FedEx on 12.30.2023. it is now 1.5.2023 and FedEx cannot tell me when it will be delivered. I started the chat process with Wahoo on 1.1.2024 and they told me that I needed to submit a ticket to customer service. I did that and have not heard back from them in 2 days now. I left a comment on their Facebook page, and was again directed to their form submission email. I am now out $80.00 and have a useless Wahoo trainer, climb, and fan in my room because my bike has SRAM components. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I will be sending all of this equipment back, and will tell every I can not to buy from them. I will buy from Zwift next time. I am not a difficult person to get along with, just expect to be able to speak with someone when there is an issue with an order I placed with them.

Returns process is rubbish.

Bought a Wahoo Tickr for £40 which had a fault. Trying to return it, the website said that they would only refund £33.32 (presumably the pre-VAT amount) and they don’t pay return postage. I tried to contact them to clarify but the chatbot was useless and when I asked to speak to a person I was told I’d be transferred but waited for an hour and nothing happened. I was a loyal ‘wahooligan’ but I’ll be looking at Garmin next time.

My power cord for my Kickr bike was…

My power cord for my Kickr bike was damaged - caught under the wheel while moving the bike. So, now the bike doesn’t work, they are out of stock on power blocks/cords for Kickr Bike… and there is no eta on when they will arrive. My $3k training bike is useless for an unknown period of time due to poor planning by them.

Had an Wahoo Kickr Core of older date…

Had an Wahoo Kickr Core of older date that had developed a squealing noise. Contacted Wahoo Customer Service and sent a few videos asking what I could do to fix the noise. Within two days Wahoo had a solution set up for exchange of the device. Took two weeks more with correspondence with local suppliers but outstanding service from Wahoo to exchange my Kickr Core! Fantastic customer support and taking responsibility for their product. Outstanding - no less!

Faulty brand new Wahoo KICKR MOVE

Faulty brand new Wahoo KICKR MOVE I just purchased the brand Wahoo KICKR MOVE with the intention to exchange the Shimano cassette with the Sram cassette. Unfortunately, the locking bolt for the cassette was faulty which the customer service represent confirmed to be a known issue. Hence, I had return the product. Costumer service promised me that the new product will be shipped immediately once in the old product is in transit. Several days later and various attempt to contact costumer service, I am still waiting for the new KICKR to arrive. I expected more from Wahoo as a premium brand, both in terms of product quality control and customer service.

Useless Kickr Core

Brand new Kickr core and the power output is way off as measured against my crank meters. Contact support and every reply they give seems to take 3-4 days. First reply was a complete waste of time so I’m now 10 days in with only one meaningful suggestion to do a test (which I completed days ago). Disgraceful support - at this rate of diagnosis and response I’ll be too old to use the thing. Will just send back to vendor as Wahoo are a terrible company - avoid and buy a Tacx instead. Wish I had… Ticket no. #1728210
