Amazing customer service

I had a kirk core trainer for nearly 5 years, about 7 months ago the trainer started to have connectivity problems and inaccurate watts reading , I was not able to have a successful spin calibration, not reaching the 36km/h required, frustration after frustration and finally gave up. But somehow I came across reading about similar problems in reddit and others forums, I decided to contact wahoo support, the response was quite quick every time and they ask me to perform some tests, so I did it , the power test was all right but the calibration couldn't get it done, failing after failing, reaching a maximum speed about 29 km/h, so we got to the point that they reply' We've reached the extent of our troubleshooting, though to make sure you're taken care of, we're happy to look into a courtesy replacement for your trainer. This courtesy is to make sure there aren't any potential hardware issues we're unaware of, though if what you're experiencing is due to Signal Interference or how the trainer is set up, the experience could continue. IN 3 DAYS TIME THEY SEND MY A NEW TRAINER WITH NO COST, MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE WAHOO SUPPORT IS AMAZING, Fabian, Sydney Australia

Customer support is the worse Ive seen!

Customer support is very low! Last august 17th all version 1 bike computers were useless because of a software bug that couldve been fixed before it even happened. Despite that, wahoo chose to do NOTHING. In the meantime they assume that a software update will fix the issue. I wanted to update the software on the bolt but Im unable to connect my bike computer to my phone. Therefor not able to use it for over 4 weeks!!!! This is total bullshit. I would recomment any other brand.

Outstanding service! Wahoo went above and beyond!

After a ride in a heavy rainstorm, moisture got under the screen of my Wahoo ELEMNT Roam. I contacted Wahoo’s customer support and was assisted by a customer support agent , who communicated with great clarity, kindness, and professionalism. Following their clear instructions, I performed a field retirement on my old unit. To my amazement, Wahoo send me a brand-new Wahoo ELEMNT Roam completely free of sentcharge. This is truly exceptional service fast, transparent and incredibly generous. Wahoo didn’t just solve my problem; they turned it into the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. I’m now an even more loyal customer. Thank you, Wahoo❤️

Exceptional Support – Even Out of Warranty!

I’ve been using the Wahoo KICKR V5 for a few years now, and it’s been an outstanding part of my training setup — reliable, accurate, and well-built. Recently, I ran into a technical issue and reached out to Wahoo support, not expecting much since the trainer was already out of warranty. To my surprise, the support I received was nothing short of exceptional. Emma from the team responded promptly, provided clear and helpful troubleshooting guidance, and ultimately arranged a replacement unit. This level of customer service is incredibly rare — especially for a product out of warranty — and it speaks volumes about Wahoo’s commitment to standing behind their products and supporting their customers. Absolutely top marks for both the quality of the product and the integrity of the brand. Highly recommended

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding customer service – truly impressed! My ELEMNT Bolt V2 developed a faulty middle button shortly after the 24-month warranty period ended. I reached out to Wahoo support – and to my surprise, they offered a replacement without any hassle. Dallas from the support team was extremely helpful, clear in communication, and just a pleasure to deal with. The whole process was smooth, fast, and fair – something you don’t experience often these days. This experience confirmed for me: Wahoo doesn’t just build great devices – they genuinely care about their customers. Always a Wahooligan! 👏🚴‍♂️💙

Worst customer support ever

The customer support first gave me the wrong suggestion on what indoor trainer to buy for my bike. Then, they tried to upsell another product to fix the problem. This also didn't work and I couldn't send it back. When I tried to send the package back, they gave me wrong instructions, scheduled wrong dates for the package pickup and in general, didn't answer my questions in the emails. This whole process took more than 4 months and a lot of my nerves. Thanks wahoo, now I know better. Never again.

Roam computer v3 - a disaster

Roam v3 just received to replace my reliable, hassle free Roam v2. Comes with an all new app interface - it's not intuitive to use, is full of advertising, won't sync to the device to upload bike ride info in a timely manner, won't sync to sensors on my bike, won't deliver a reliable tracking link that stays live for the duration of the ride. Frustrating to spend twice what I spent for the prior model and have nothing but "wont work" features and a lesser experience than before. No way to leave a review on their site - what are they hiding from and who is writing all those glowing reviews? No way to live chat, customer service is sending links to "instructions" that I've already followed and still unable to smooth things out.

Bought a Bike Shift

Bought a Bike Shift. Unit arrived but would not power up. Back and forth with customer support (each interaction would take 2 days to wait for a response) and not solution. Request to take unit back, more days to wait for packing label, wrong packing label is sent, delivery arrives at my home for wrong parcels, still waiting for response. Dead unit with no explanation and poor customer service in terms of speed and accuracy.

Lousy Customer Service & Potentially Misleading Reviews

I placed an order. For some reason two mats were added to my cart. I updated the cart, but it did not work. After I'd paid, I saw that the two mats were still on my order. I contacted Wahoo quickly. A representative got back to me after "it was too late to cancel the order". But, same representative informed me it would be no problem for me to return the second mat. Later, I came to find out that I was responsible for return shipping. When I left a mediocre review for a trainer because it turned out that something I feel is key functionality was missing, the review never posted. Further, when I tried to leave a negative review of the mat I kept, I could not. (It smells like a tire even a month later.) Their review-minder (a company called Yotpo) gave me an error every time I tried to rate it (which, it seems can only be done by invite through an email that opens a browser window.) Not only am I extremely unlikely to buy anything from this lousy company again (the only company to charge me a tariff surcharge to date), but I must wonder what average review numbers for their products really look like!

An utterly appalling company…

An utterly appalling company. For context I have recently purchased a Wahoo Ace. I had previously a v1 Roam and a Wahoo Rival watch previously. Both have very recently died on me and now unusable. Having recieved the Ace, it doesn’t fit on my wahoo specific mount because of the poor design of the Ace device. At this point I’m thinking £500 for something they have not considered basic design issues such as mount compatibility. I reached out to customer services having told them my bike and handlebar setup and ‘Charles P’ from Wahoo recommended a mount made by a danish company. I stupidly spent an additional £59 to get this mount, only to find they recommended the wrong mount. There are seemingly no mounts that fit my Giant Propel aero bike. I am truly shocked at how bad they are and I hope they go out of business.

I should have left this review sooner

I should have left this review sooner. A horrible, horrible company who have zero interest in after sale support. The last ticket I submitted they still haven't replied at all, even to tell me to suck it again. That was January of '25. They almost went out of business once and I hope they do. I regret every buying from them.

I ordered a wahoo Kickr core a week ago…

I ordered a wahoo Kickr core a week ago along with a water bottle. I have received the water bottle but not the bike trainer. The courier is saying they never received the bike trainer and wahoo are saying they sent it. I’m still waiting for a response and for my bike trainer.

Poor service & defective products

It is difficult to determine what is more problematic—Wahoo’s customer service or the reliability of their products. A cycling colleague purchased a Wahoo Kickr, which was diagnosed as faulty after just a few weeks of troubleshooting with Wahoo’s support team. While Wahoo eventually agreed to provide a replacement, the process was unnecessarily prolonged, requiring constant follow-ups from my colleague before the replacement unit was finally delivered. Frustrated with the experience, he chose to abandon Wahoo altogether and offered me the replacement Kickr, which I accepted. However, after just a few weeks, this unit also proved to be defective. Upon engaging with Wahoo’s support team once again, I was informed that they would not provide a replacement because I was not the original owner—despite the fact that the original owner was actively involved in the email correspondence with Wahoo representatives, Matt and Ali. He provided all necessary documentation, including proof of ownership and proof of replacement. Rather than honoring their warranty in a logical and efficient manner, Wahoo insisted that my colleague initiate an entirely new case from the beginning—repeating the same troubleshooting steps, retesting the product, and restating all previously documented issues. This bureaucratic redundancy serves no purpose other than to create unnecessary obstacles for customers seeking support for defective products. This experience highlights significant inefficiencies in Wahoo’s business practices, a lack of common sense in their customer service approach, and an apparent unwillingness to take accountability for product failures. Given these issues, I cannot recommend Wahoo’s products or services. After speaking with other athletes in my training circles, it is clear that Wahoo’s reputation for unreliable products and frustrating support is well known—and now, I fully understand why.

Communiction is a nightmare

Kickr Core went wrong (a problem with the bearings). It happens and was under warranty. Wahoo arranged for a collection to be made and the collection was missed. There is no way to contact the delivery company to get an update, all communication has to go through Wahoo. Despite chasing, no update has been received. I now have a broken bike trainer, a big box blocking my hallway and no sign of a resolution in the near future.
