Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People frequently complained that the devices stopped working properly after only a few months of use, often suffering from unexpected connectivity failures or leaking water during operation. Consumers also noted that the customer support team was unhelpful, unresponsive, and made the warranty repair process extremely difficult and frustrating.
Some reviewers were happy with the helpful customer service, noting that staff members were quick and professional when handling warranty replacements. These buyers mentioned that the vacuums were easy to manage, reliable, and left floors looking fantastic with no sign of dust.
Ordered Saturday
Said UPS collection for delivery Tuesday
Its still at warehouse. Now Wednesday so wouldn't bother ordering direct. Did reach out to CS but they weren't helpful. I'll do a charge back if not delivered within next couple of days
Roborock CS is awful. You have a problem and ask to speak with a supervisor and they tell you there is none. I asked if they report to someone and Joe, who hung up on me twice because I was asking him questions that were too hard to answer, he then said yes. I said that's who I'd like to speak with. Oh, they're not available. On top of that, you can't speak with anyone in the warranty department. Only communication with them is via email. I should have read all of the negative CS reviews and problems that plague their product. Barely into 3 months with a product that I thought I was upgrading from a Roomba (never a problem n 3 years) too and Roborock Qrevo S is broken down and can't make its way to the dock before it runs out of battery. It also won't rerun to the dock after telling it to. It says "returning to dock" on n the ap but it just keeps vacuuming. I would love to speak with some type of a supervisor of CS and the warranty department. I'm waiting to be contacted by the warranty department for a resolution. I'll be back to say how it went.
Looks like there is a pattern developing from reading other reviews of Roborock products. My Q10 s5 was performing really well for around a month. I noticed a clattering noice at the rear of the vacuum. Turns out it was the rear mop plate. The noise continued for another week but then ‘Cliff error message’ started to kick in. This rendered the machine totally useless. I cleaned and scrubbed the sensors within an inch of their lives but, to no avail.
Customer service:
So, I informed Roborock Europe of the issues. They presented 3 request to try and solve the issue.
1/ place the machine on hard floor instead of carpet ——I don’t have carpets so not a problem.
2/ take a video of the machine shouting out it’s a error - check
3/ take picture of sensors - done
As I’ve only had the machine just over a month they stated
“ Normally the device can only be replaced when it's 1 month old. Considering your experience, we will apply for an exception to have it replaced “
Once I accept the replace Roborock haven’t replied to my further correspondence with them. So, I’m not really happy at this time with their customer service
If I’d of known ( which I agree is my fault) at the time of purchase that the warranty for a £350 vacuum robot is only a month, I would of touch it with a barge pole!
Hopefully theyll replace my item ( although I did ask for a full refund) and it performs better.
It’s a shame because the app and vacuum performed really well until broke just slightly over the 1 MONTH warranty.
I’ve looked at other brands (eufy 12 month warranty, karcher 12 month warranty)
It’s a shame but my disappointment is slowly but surely turning into rage !!!!
Fake delivery, no refund, now under police investigation
I bought a Roborock vacuum cleaner from what appeared to be their official UK website (uk.roborock.com) and paid more that £1,064 in Sept 2025. Everything seemed legitimate, confirmation emails and UPS tracking.
Then came a series of fake delivery attempts showing “nobody at home,” even though I was in all day and no delivery was ever made. Eventually, after weeks chasing them to let them know I never got an attemp delivery from UPS, I asked UPS directly to return the parcel to the sender, which they confirmed, and it went back to the same town it had originally been shipped from. That’s when I realised this was a scam.
Since then, Roborock has refused to refund me or provide a clear explanation. Their “UK support” emails only send generic replies.
I have reported this to the police, who are investigating the case as possible fraud. I strongly suspect this is not an isolated incident and that there’s a wider criminal operation behind these fake deliveries.
Please, avoid buying directly from this website or company. I wish I had read something like this before placing my order, it’s been stressful, expensive, and deeply disappointing.
Ordered Robotic vacuum on 11.09.25. Heard nothing until i chased them on 16.09.25 saying they had delivered it to my address at 12.59 on 15.09.25. We were at home the whole time that day. Was told to speak to neighbours and look round garden to see it had been left there. Already did that but couldn’t find it. Courier company also showed it as delivered. Tried to speak to courier company who apparently a subsidiary of Amazon but they are uncontactable, even through Amazon UK. Over the space of 2 weeks I contacted them every day and was continually being fobbed off. As the company told Paypal the too closed the case as delivered.
This company is terrible and a complete fraud. Should have looked at their review history which show similar issues. Eventually after numerous complaints “as a goodwill issue” they finally gave me my money back.
Don’t buy from this company, not only are there similar issues to mine there are cases of faulty products with no support from Roborock.
They do not honor their warranty when a product malfunctions. We have been going back and forth since May 2025 on an issue with the Qrevo Master vacuum with no resolution. We have sent multiple videos, returned the robot for repair, it did not fix the issue. The warranty is almost out and we still have zero resolution. We own 3 of their vacuums and won’t be purchasing another based on the fact they won’t replace an obviously malfunctioning machine within the warranty period.
I do not recommend this company or their products.
Zero stars if possible, ordered a Roborock QV35S from Roborock UK, it arrived last week and does not work. Customer service is non existent, 48hours to respond to emails and repeat the same thing. Possibly AI generated emails. 6 days now with a faulty robot and no clue how to exchange or get my money back. My advice would be to order from some other reputable company
I want to share my extremely disappointing experience with the Roborock S8+.
After less than 2 years of use, the device malfunctioned severely: a burning smell, visible sparks from the charging dock, and even a power outage at home. This also damaged other appliances in my house — and could have caused a fire.
I have young children at home, and I no longer trust this product at all. I contacted both Roborock support and made it clear I want a replacement, not a repair.
It’s been 40 days now — no real action, no responsibility, no resolution. Just empty words.
I’m sharing this publicly to warn other customers about this product and Roborock’s customer service, which so far has been slow, dismissive, and unhelpful.
I strongly advise anyone considering this brand to rethink their decision.
Purchased the Roborock q revo s about 6 months ago, was working perfectly then all of a sudden the water reservoir wouldn’t fill up to mop. Followed all troubleshooting which didn’t fix the issue. Customer service is frustrating to say the least. The person on the phone can’t help you, everything has to go through email. I paid $100+ to ship this device back to them as they said to send it in for repair. We checked in since the package said delivered, but they said they didn’t receive the parcel. I wrote them back and said I have proof of delivery with the name of the person who signed for the parcel. A day later they said they received the parcel, will repair and file a claim with UPS. Not sure why you would file a claim with UPS as they received the package so that was shady. Now they want to send us a refurbished device even though the one we purchased was brand new. They told us to send our device in for repair, I expected them to fix it and send it back not try to send us a refurbished device without even attempting to fix ours. The whole thing is shady, I do not recommend this brand for anybody after this experience. I feel like the company is trying to scam us.
Ordered a Roborock Q5 Pro from the uk.roborock.com store via Topcashback on 25/03/2025 and today received an email stating Roborock are refusing to honour the cashback on the basis the order was either amended, returned or cancelled - despite none of these being true.
Offering cashback to potential customers as an incentive to buy products with no intention of honouring the cashback, means I will not be buying from this company again in future.
Paid for a robot I never received. Roborock support is shockingly bad
I had a terrible experience with Roborock and would strongly advise against buying directly from them.
I ordered a robot vacuum that was falsely marked as delivered by DHL on August 5th, but I never received it. DHL has confirmed that Roborock needs to open the investigation, yet Roborock refuses to take responsibility or follow up.
Despite the failed delivery, I actually bought a second robot via Amazon in good faith, trusting that Roborock would do their job and investigate the fake delivery through the correct channels. I even provided them with the proof of the Amazon order and the delivery, along with the serial number of the unit I received — which was clearly different from the one they claimed was delivered.
Instead of cross-referencing the serial numbers or escalating with DHL, Roborock chose to assume I was lying and effectively blamed me for their logistics failure. Once I proved the mismatch and clearly showed that their records were incorrect, their Chinese support team stopped replying altogether, leaving the issue unresolved.
I’ve had to chase this from every angle. I contacted DHL, wrote to Roborock’s Spanish team (who don’t seem to have any real authority or information), and sent multiple follow-ups, all with no real outcome. The complete lack of accountability, transparency, and professionalism is shocking.
I paid for a premium product I never received, provided all the evidence I was asked for and more, and was rewarded with silence and blame. This is unacceptable customer service from a brand of this size.
If you value your money, sanity, your time, and basic consumer rights, do not buy directly from Roborock.
Broke in less than 2 years - customer service confusing
Roborock S8 Ultra dock stopped working after less than 2 years when almost not used.
Contacted support by email - confusing answers - not acknowledging the warranty - and not seeming to read the messages.
Very disappointing and machine still not working.
Roborock broken after 2 years, warranty not honoured
Purchased a Roborock Ultra S7 with 3 year warranty and after only 2 years the machine has a problem and does not return to the dock. Roborock is unwilling to honour the warranty and says to contact Roborock Thailand. Roborock Thailand does not answer emails.
Customer service is basically non-existent. The only number available is for tech support, and even then, they can’t help with anything beyond basic issues. You’re forced to email, but replies are painfully slow and unhelpful. There’s no way to escalate. They claim they’ve done something but never give confirmation, and reps clearly don’t have the info—they just keep saying they’ll follow up, but nothing ever happens. Extremely frustrating experience.
I have an s4 and they say its "an older" model. So someone will have to email me about the parts I need. No email was ever received. Not only will they not help me with the parts I need, but have blocked my phone number and email. So I cannot contact them to, again try to get what I need. Apparently they only want to support "NEW" models. And blocking a customer who simply wants to talk to someone seems a bit unconscionable.
