Excellent Support, but M-PESA Deposits Could Be Faster!
I’ve been using Afriex for about a week now, and I have to say, the app itself is great—super intuitive and easy to navigate!
The absolute standout feature for me is the customer support. I really appreciate how fast and helpful the team is whenever I have a question. Knowing that they are available 24/7 gives me so much peace of mind, and it’s clear they truly care about their users!
The only area where I see room for improvement is the M-PESA to Afriex deposit speed. Currently, it takes a bit too long for the funds to reflect in my account. There are many times when I need my funds urgently, and the delay can be a bit stressful.
If the team could streamline this process to make deposits more instant, this app would be a perfect 10/10! Other than that, I’m a very happy user and highly recommend it for the service alone.
I have been using Afriex for some time now and since then I can truly say that they have an awesome system. When something isn’t right they fix it in a timely manner and they are courteous about doing it. If they do not get back with you in 24-48hrs it’s cause the system may be down but other than that they are fantastic. I am able to send money to Nigeria to my family in Nigeria and now I’m working on sharing the app to my family here in America. Good bye Cash App and chime. This app works so much better than the other apps. I am so satisfied with it. I would recommend this app to anyone and they communicate with you in WhatsApp in real time. You just have to try it. The money you send is successful in minutes. Thanks Afriex just for being great.
As a first time user, I was extremely disappointed.
I made an urgent transfer, they cancelled my transfer while I was asleep and credited the money to the account, not my card.
I made the transfer again and it took more then 6 hours to process.
Instant transfer and delivery, with great exchange rate. Quick response to customer in time of challenges is another motivation. Afriex is advancing in its operations.
I am beyond frustrated with Afriex. They are currently holding my funds with no clear explanation and no timeline for release.
I have contacted their support team multiple times, only to receive the same copy-paste corporate templates. They claim they are diligently working on the issue, but they refuse to provide a single concrete fact about why my money is being withheld or when I will get it back.
It is completely unacceptable for a financial service to go silent on a customer’s money. Professional emails don't pay bills, my money does. If you value your peace of mind and want a service that actually respects your hard earned funds, STAY AWAY FROM AFRIEX.
I will update this review if and when they actually decide to do the right thing and release my money, but until then, consider this a warning to everyone else.

Found in Afriex walket 150$ today 1/26/26, sent $10?as test, received verification sent n received by receiver.
Sent remainder 140$ to same and still processing at this time 1734. Sent inquiry.
It is a SCAM. I have paid $5 for virtual card but didn't recieve the card at all. When contacting customer service, they said you can't get the virtual card and your money won't be refunded.
