Better U is an amazing company but more than that. It’s a company with amazing people helping people like myself. They have the best support system psychiatrist doctors support people anybody and everybody you need to have your journey be a positive one and mine has been absolutely positive before I started this I could barely walk. It was extreme painful. I have CRPS, but after using Ketamine with this company for a small amount of time I became Pain friendly as I call it. It just means that my pain is manageable. It doesn’t go away, but because of you guys I have my life back. I hope people will win this and jump on the same journey. I have been taking it’s easy you do it at home in the privacy of your own house/bedroom wherever you choose to do it, it’s peaceful quiet and gives you an amazing experience. At home, you can choose to do it at whatever time you choose to do it I have chosen early in the morning so that I have the rest of my day to do a few things anyway, but I don’t know where I would be today if I had not started my Ketamine therapy with these wonderful people you will not be disappointed. You will not everyone is different and sometimes it works better for some than others, but I can tell you I can’t imagine it not helping to some extent. I have had the most amazing experience with “Better U”. The team is great at making time to speak with you at your convenience. The provider is always available. Support staff, Cathy, in general is the one for me. She is very knowledgeable, supportive, and I felt very comfortable speaking to her in regards to my questions and concerns! If I could rate them higher I would. I highly recommend them. My first time I had a great experience and I continue to stay with them. I have been on SSRI's on and off through out my life. Many times waiting for it to kick in, only to find out the side effects were horrible and it only made me feel a little better. Then the next steps would be to try another SSRI.... just trial and error. After my first ketamine therapy session that weight on my shoulders and darkness that always seemed to be there was gone!

I have only just begun my Better U journey, but I am already impressed. I have used many different modalities in the past, including breathwork, and I initially had a few misconceptions about how ketamine treatment would work for me.
My experience has been that it removed the lid from everything I had suppressed. At first, the days following my sessions were intense, with my anxiety free to surface. By my sixth session, however, I began to see that I truly have the ability to hold my own emotional content safely. That realization has been a tremendous gift.
I have not “arrived”—whatever that means—but I feel much more hopeful about the journey ahead.
Better U’s service has been prompt, and my integration coach has been very helpful, offering tools and approaches I had not considered before.

I just want to take a moment to share my personal experience with ketamine therapy and Better U.
Ketamine therapy has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. Living with anxiety, depression, and the of real trauma can be exhausting, and for me, ketamine has helped me look at my thoughts differently. It has given me a different perspective and helped me begin to “rewire” some of the thought patterns that kept me stuck.
What I appreciate most about Better U is that I never felt like I was just another number. Their check-ins by phone, along with the ongoing support and follow-up, have made me feel cared for throughout the process. That personal connection has meant a lot to me.
And no, I’m not a paid promoter, and I’m definitely not a bot 😂. I’m a real human being who has experienced real trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I’m simply sharing what has helped me.

Kathy was amazingly personable and made me feel seen and heard, she helped me in crisis and I will forever be grateful for her soft and calm tone paired with her unparalleled patience with me as we worked through the kinks. Cathy was very experienced and thoughtful about the entire process and my personal well being. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and asked me if I felt safe above all. If not for the medication alone I felt better about my depression just talking with her. Absolutely the BEST company I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Not only are they a good business but are my friends now as well. They have impacted my life on a magnanimous scale, allowing me to genuinely work on myself and change the aspects of myself I just couldn’t touch until now. I have been using Better U for my mental health growth for over a year now. I have reviewed and checked with multiple other providers who claimed to do the same thing. Yet, I continue to stay with.BetterU. They are kind and considerate, empathetic, and I have yet to feel judgment from any person I have spoken with or counseling personnel. My experience from start to finish was incredibly disappointing. After taking my payment, Better U scheduled me with a clinician who never showed up to the appointment. There was no warning or explanation beforehand. I then had to be rescheduled with another clinician, and the appointment felt rushed and impersonal. I left feeling like they were simply going through the motions rather than providing thoughtful patient care or adequately explaining the treatment process.
The most concerning part came afterward. I received my package, but the ketamine medication I was expecting was not in the box. The company has maintained that it was included, but it was not. None of the contents were clearly labeled, making it difficult to verify what was supposed to be there.
When you’re seeking treatment for depression or anxiety, reliability, communication, and patient care are essential. My experience was the exact opposite. Instead of receiving the support I was looking for, I was left frustrated, stressed, and without the treatment I had paid for.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Better U. I encourage anyone considering this company to do thorough research and carefully consider other treatment providers before entrusting them with your care.

Privacy laws prevent us from discussing any individual's care, account, or shipment details in a public forum, so I'll speak generally. Appointments on our platform are with independent licensed clinicians, and medications are prepared and shipped by licensed pharmacies. When someone reports a missed appointment or a concern about the contents of a shipment, we treat it as a priority, and shipment concerns in particular are investigated thoroughly with the fulfilling pharmacies because accuracy and safety in medication handling are non-negotiable. We are here to advocate for you if there's any challenges with the independent pharmacies.
I want to make sure this gets the attention it deserves. Please contact us directly to speak to our Clinical Operations Director [email protected], reference this review, and ask that it be escalated. Our team will investigate and work with you toward a resolution.
If there was a 0 star rating, that is what I would have chosen. The fact that you have to pay for all of your sessions up front without even speaking with a clinician is insane. The first appointment with a “peer support professional” is free and they give you hope that you would be a great candidate after providing basic medical information, they take your payment. After that, you schedule with a clinician. Then, when their clinician needs a clearance from your normal psychiatrist, it is not deemed as them making the decision that you are not a good candidate. They just need clearance from a medical professional…If someone is a good candidate, one would think that the process would just start without clearance. That is not the case. Then you do not get your full refund because their clinician is just asking for a clearance, not denying you. I feel that after meeting with a clinician(that could absolutely be paid for), then make the decision to move forward or not and then take the remainder of the payment for treatments. That would make sense. Instead it’s a $100 fee for the clinician and then they take 3.5% from the remainder of the amount paid for your refund. I have been going through this process with very little communication from Better U. It has been a stressful situation and definitely not making me a better me.
The care team has been great and very understanding and helpful. I get calls periodically to check in on my progress. The online resources are very good and work with both Spotify and Youtube Premium.
The medicine itself has exceeded my expectations. I was surprised by the immediate effect it had on relieving my anxiety and depression. It was like a knot in my chest has been untied that I was not even aware was there before. I'm looking forward to continuing the process and see what more I am able to achieve. I would recommend this to anyone who feels like they are stuck in unproductive modes of thinking and with deep seeded traumas they need to unpack.
