I filed the claim on my A/C unit not working 7/30/26, I was told that I have to pay $100 deductible before someone can come. I paid thru my credit card. Provider came on 7/31/26 after many calls. He told me the option to replace the system for about $8000 because if he fix the exiting it won't work and would need modification R22 to other system I have a copay of $1495 to get it fix, to my knowledge and understanding my copay/deductible is only $100 when I Spoke the sales person to purchased the warranty. I just spoke to jean, she was very helpful and tried to help me. We discuss the option to replace the system instead of repairing which will cost me $1495 and if this does not work, I have to pay more in future to replace the system which was offered to me by service provider as a vey good professional recommendation,

Deception as to start date

I had had a service contract for about 20 years, and did not renew 6 months ago. I was called a number of times to renew my plan at a discount. I asked, as I had the plan before, if I had to wait the 30 days before filing a claim, and was told that I did not have to wait, and that I could file a claim the next day. I bought the plan and the next day tried to file a claim, and was told I had to wait 30 days. I was lied to.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and confusion regarding your membership's start date and coverage eligibility. Our Membership Team is currently reviewing the concerns you've described, including the information provided during the enrollment process. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and want to ensure it is thoroughly investigated. Thank you for your feedback and patience as we look into this further.

Waiting period

I dislike a waiting period between the time you purchase the service to when it’s even activated. Beyond that everything’s fine.

Reply from Cinch Home Services2026-08-10

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the 30-day waiting period can be disappointing, especially when you're eager to have coverage in place right away. This introductory period is part of our coverage terms and begins when a new policy is purchased before service benefits become available. We appreciate your understanding and are glad to hear that, beyond the waiting period, your experience has been positive. Thank you for choosing Cinch Home Services.

Still waiting for something to happen

Have this home warranty service it works some of the times and other times it does not. If you want something fixed quickly and the first time this is not the service foe you. Took over a month to get ac fixed in the hotest months of the year. Now I have been waiting for over a month on my oven. I thought it was going to be fixed quick had someone out 2 weeks after request and they decided not to listen to what the issue was and ordered the wrong parts. Was told I get a call back latter in the day when they will come back and we are over twi weeks from that after multiple voicemails left and text messages. Called cinch to help escalate and took 15 minute to get a live agent with all thier dumb phone queues. I was told they couldnt do anything until monday and I needed to call back so they can follow up with the company monday. Guess no one wants to do a job these days you pay for.
