wish I could do minus 1 star .so I had email from dji offering me 80 euro gift card to spend on there website to buy there products even tho I said I don't want anything apart from getting my mavic pro and crystal sky to work again but sadly it needs to be put in bin. never again will I fall into there trap, after receiving reply where they state no more support for this product they request I buy a new drone when this drone works perfectly and its got nothing to do with support .all im asking is why the crystal sky monitor won't connect to drone when all it requires is firmware update and nothing to do with spares etc. I have all the spares for this drone in fact im still using the original props even after 7 years of use and have 4 more sets of props. as for crystal sky they asked for it to be returned for testing ,this setup worked flawlessly 6 years ago then stored in case and now it won't work. THATS ALL IM ASKING.even the batteries work perfectly on drone and crystal sky.(2 batteries crystal sky) (4 batteries for drone) all hold there charge in fact the drone batteries last longer than my mini 4 pro batteries and the crystal sky runs for 5hours with continuous use.SO NO DJI IN REFERANCE TO YOUR REQUEST I WILL NOT BE SPENDING MORE MONEY ON ANOTHER SETUP.DO THE DECENT THING PULL YOUR FINGER OUT AND SHOW SOME CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND HELP.OR (YOUR SEND ME YOUR LATEST DRONE SETUP FOR FREE).i won't hold my breath on last comment, let the battle commence.

Hi there,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. As DJI has officially discontinued service and support for this product, we are truly sorry for any trouble this may have brought you.
We sincerely recommend upgrading to a newer model so that you can enjoy improved technology and performance, and we can continue to provide you with efficient service and support.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Best regards,
DJI Support Team
spent 1hour 45 mins on phone to dji and still none the wiser .one thing I will say is dji are the worst company I've had to deal with so be warned if you thinking about buying there products they have a shelf life of 3 years then you throw them in the bin and spend twice as much more on a new product.im referring to there drones.my mavic pro drone is now an expensive paperweight and its 6 years old still perfect like new.also there crystal sky monitor same age now an even more expensive paperweight 1000 pounds in the bin along with drone 650 pounds not to mention 4 batteries 300 pounds . you see how this company works they want you to spend spend spend with absolutely no back up.i have there latest drone mini 4 pro and this will be obsolete in few years time .so if your thinking of buying there enterprise drone costing upwards of 5k plus remember in few years it will be your very expensive paperweight, and for the record dji you know who I am so don't respond with your ;can I have your reference number ;talk

Update
Dear John,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your continued interest and support for DJI products. As you may know, due to ongoing technological advancements and evolving user needs, each generation of electronic products has a defined lifecycle. To keep providing you with high-quality products and services, DJI regularly optimizes resource allocation and promotes new products and technologies. Therefore, as of April 25, 2025, DJI has officially ended after-sales support for the Mavic Pro and its accessories. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Regarding your current issue, please provide a detailed operation video and upload it to the following cloud drive: https://pan-sec.djicorp.com/s/8bneN2giWXgqg4Z. Additionally, kindly provide screenshots showing the firmware versions of both your Mavic Pro and CrystalSky (as shown in your previous example). We will promptly forward this information to our engineering team, which will help us assist you more accurately.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us.
Dear John,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are truly sorry to hear that you’ve recently had an unpleasant experience with DJI.
Could you please share more details about the issue you encountered? This will help us better understand the situation and provide the most suitable assistance.
Please rest assured that we genuinely want to understand your case and help resolve it as soon as possible.
We look forward to your reply.

Disappointing customer service after a confirmed technical fault
UPDATE : Flyaway CAS-26538570-C9P9H1
DJI acknowledged a technical failure but refused any real compensation
My DJI drone suddenly crashed mid-flight due to a technical error, not a pilot mistake — something DJI themselves later acknowledged after reviewing the flight data.
At first, customer support told me the drone was covered by a two-year warranty, but later changed that to one year without any clear explanation. Despite admitting it was a technical failure, DJI refused to replace the device, and the only thing they offered was a 15% discount to buy the exact old model again.
It’s really disappointing to see such a lack of accountability and understanding from a brand that promotes itself as a leader in innovation. The customer service experience was confusing, inconsistent, and showed no real willingness to help.

DO NOT BUY DJI A YEAR OF FAILURE NO WARRANTY AND ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY
Case CAS 26196474 S5H3T4
My experience with DJI has been the most unprofessional and exhausting customer service process I have ever dealt with. After nearly a full year the Smart Controller issues remain unresolved and DJI continues to avoid any form of responsibility.
Timeline of Failures
Feb–July 2025
Sent my Smart Controller (SN 13M3MA7001X162) for repair due to zoom and Bluetooth defects. After 5 to 6 months, it was returned still unable to sync with the aircraft.
Aug 2025
Sent it back again. It returned in worse condition with gimbal zoom Bluetooth and even takeoff functions malfunctioning.
Oct 15–17 2025
Despite multiple calls DJI claimed the controller was “within normal tolerances” even though it was completely unusable.
Oct 20, 2025
DJI said it would take another two weeks to return the controller and then suggested I also send the aircraft assuming it would also malfunction.
Oct 21, 2025
I formally disagreed with their evaluation and the lack of accountability.
Oct 24, 2025
After eight months DJI claimed they found “no issues” and said the controller would ship “next week.” If problems continued, they wanted the aircraft sent in although they themselves caused most of the issues.
Nov 4, 2025
DJI asked for a video but provides no platform that supports the file type they demand. The controller had still not arrived. DJI emailed saying the screen protector was broken even though I never had one and offered only 50 DJ Coins. Every time a device is returned it comes back more damaged. I have not been able to take a single photograph all year.
Nov 10, 2025
I confirmed again that all problems connectivity gimbal zoom and Bluetooth remain unresolved and are clearly manufacturing defects. Their “goodwill” gesture does not address a year of failure.
November 20, 2025 (today)
After more than one hour on the phone DJI is once again requesting that I send the Smart Controller back because the zoom still does not work and left to right aircraft movement is disabled. They are also requesting that I send the aircraft as well.
There is no formal warranty no assurance no responsibility and no guarantee that anything will be fixed.
They openly admit to equipment shortages provide no reliable solutions and show no accountability.
Phone support was rude dismissive and unprofessional.
Final Warning to Other Customers
After nearly a year DJI has:
Returned my device multiple times in worse condition
Provided no solution no compensation and no accountability
Blamed nonexistent issues such as a screen protector I never had
Wasted my time my entire shooting season and caused immense frustration
I strongly advise everyone: DO NOT BUY DJI PRODUCTS.
Their customer service is negligent unprofessional and unable to resolve even basic issues.
This company simply does not operate at the standard customers should expect.

Dear user,
After testing your product, DJI has found that it is within normal tolerances and shows neither safety nor quality issues. Upon receiving your remote controller, we recommend:

Warranty claim rejected without documentation—disappointing service from DJI
UPDATE 14 october: DJI offered me a 50% discount on the repair. Accordingly, I have updated my rating from 1 to 3 stars.
UPDATE 11 october: DJI wrote here on Trustpilot, in a reply, that a ‘relevant team’ has contacted me. Who exactly is this ‘relevant team’?
ORIGINAL:
My DJI Mini 4 Pro RC2 controller started charging erratically (the charger starts/stops after a few seconds regardless of charger/cable). The unit was sent to DJI for inspection via the retailer.
Timeline (in brief):
2 Sep.: Through the retailer (Coolshop) I’m told that DJI rejects the claim due to “moisture/corrosion on the core board.” A repair is offered at €246.25.
10–11 Sep.: Instead of documentation, I’m forwarded a standardized text from DJI saying that “even humidity” can cause oxidation in, among other things, the drone. They say they attached photos (but forgot to attach them).
– I reply that it’s unserious to write about my drone when it’s my controller I sent in. Also, this is a warranty claim, as the controller should withstand normal humidity. Finally, I remind them again to send the photos they forgot to attach plus documentation.
16 Sep.: The retailer states they are asking DJI to obtain the photos they forgot to attach.
26 Sep.: The retailer informs me they can no longer get hold of the photos from DJI — but instead offer an “exceptional 40% discount” (under €150). Still no service report or documentation of a red indicator/corrosion.
7 Oct.: I ask whether the retailer can’t just take new photos of the controller/the fault.
8 Oct.: The retailer writes that they refuse to send new photos of the controller (the red indicator/internal corrosion) that they previously forgot to attach, and that if I do not accept the offer within 5 days, they will return the controller.
It seems too wild to be true—if I could attach screenshots of the correspondence, I would!
As of today, my controller is still with DJI.

Before you buy anything DJI - READ THE COMMENTS !!!
READ COMMENTS BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM DJI !!!
My husband spent (by now: wasted) way over € 10 000 (!) from our family budget on DJI "professional" camera + about € 2000 in May for the drone and different stuff, since he was offered a cool project to be arranged and he decided to go with DJI. Now it's October and I am shocked with what is happening: he is actually staying without the job he was offered for all this time since there are numerous problems with DJI. The biggest one (not to mention hundreds of other, described here by other Trust pilot users) is that the first battery didn't work...because it was old, manuf date was like a decade ago. After several days (!) of proving what was wrong, they sent another one... which went empty after half an hour of work - right as he was shooting the event. This happened last week. You know what? He is still "speaking" to those very polite bots at the customer service who offer him a € 70 voucher of discount and not even talking about sending the new battery or - the way I require - full return of the whole equipment and money refund.
DJI, YOU LITERALLY BROKE MY FAMILY
I am about to divorce, just because I can't understand by now, how the grown up man could make such a huge investment without previously reading all of these comments. Your cameras and drones are simply a pile of unnecessary plastic and metal.
UPD 11.10.2025: my husband was still fighting with your "highest level support team" at this time, requesting full refund in order to return our money, give your equipment back and forget about DJI as a nightmare. His case is still (for more than two weeks) there, he is not given any refund, the third (!) battery is sent to him yesterday and a voucher of some funny amount of EUR 70 offered "for the next purchase". Apparently, your gorgeous support team supposed it is just enough.
I am going to give you the purchase ref number, along with his "case number" only if it makes any better than your well -taught team who knows how to stretch time and postpone the responsibility on your side. I mean: if you gonna promise what we requested - full refund with return of the camera and additional stuff - I am to give you the number.
And, please, stop pretending "you are really really sorry" etc and give 1/3 or even more of each letter to your excuses and sorry'es. It only provides a deeper contempt to you, both as a company, as well as a separate "team person" every next time I see your answers.

Hi there,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
As electronic products are affected by technological developments and changes in usage requirements, each generation of products has a fixed life cycle. In order to continuously provide you with premium product and service experiences, DJI regularly optimizes resource allocations to promote the development and application of new products and technologies. Therefore, we have decided to stop providing support services for the Mavic Pro and its accessories starting on October 1, 2024. We're sorry that the services for this product have been suspended currently and relevant technical support and after-sales repair services cannot be provided.
Thank you for understanding and patience, please feel free to contact us if you have other questions.
Overall I am very happy with my DJI products, using both cameras and drones. The problem with buying from DJI is that in my experience they use DHL for deliveries.
None of my recent deliveries have arrived in the given time slot, and the last order for over £400 worth of camera has just gone missing. It's very frustrating trying to find out what's happening and when / if I will receive my order. DHL definitely let DJI down.
For DJI's reference my order no is 0441907040880
EDIT DJI did kindly refund the missing order quickly so that I was not inconvenienced too much.

Fantastic after sales service! Really amazed at how quickly and efficiently some repairs where done after raising a request. I was expecting long delays and a fight over costs involved however, the drone was collected promptly (no charge), work carried out quickly and item returned shortly thereafter in perfect order at a very reasonable expense. Great experience 👍 👌

Typical level of Chinese quality and my lesson for the future
They do not comply with local repair regulations, and the only option is legal action, which, as we know, is time-consuming. They refer to corporate regulations as if they were above national law. They do not distinguish between non-compliance of goods with the contract from the warranty provisions, which is complete ignorance. To be clear: the problem concerned a manufacturing defect in a new, non-activated device, not damage to the device during or after the warranty period. They charge money for “repairing” equipment that has never even been used. When you prove their incompetence, they copy and paste the same statements that have nothing to do with the case. I suppose they are perfectly aware of the decline in the quality of their products and that is why they pass the costs on to customers. DJI is finished for me, I will never buy their product again.
I will supplement the above information with a brief summary of the law in force in my country (I tried to translate correctly, I hope I succeeded):
/quote: according to Article 564 of the Civil Code, the loss of rights under the warranty for physical defects in goods does NOT occur despite the failure to meet the deadlines for the buyer to examine the goods or to notify the seller of the defect, if the seller knew about the defect or assured the buyer that there were no defects (i.e., my case, because the seller - by definition - undertakes to deliver goods in fully working condition unless clearly indicated that, for example, the goods are used, incomplete etc; of course that was not the case here - the goods were new, but DoA).
Interpretation: This means that the entrepreneur is liable for the product even if the defect is noticed by the consumer more than two years from the item being delivered. /end of quote

DO NOT BUY DJI PRODUCTS! IT'S A SCAM
I’ve owned over $2,000 worth of DJI products—and all that money is now wasted. I've lost two drones due to GPS malfunctions.
The first time it happened, I submitted the flight logs to customer support. They admitted the GPS malfunction but only offered me a $130 store credit, claiming it was because the drone was purchased refurbished. Not exactly fair, but I accepted it and bought another drone.
Then it happened again.
(Here’s how I lost my second drone—you be the judge: Upon launching the drone I realized that it logged me out of my account on the controller, it does it sometimes for no reason, and I could not log back in cause there was no service in the area, so it limited my flight distance to 50 meters. Fine, I thought—I’ll make it quick. But while flying over a lake, the drone suddenly updated its home point to a RANDOM location in the middle of the water. Because of the 50-meter restriction from this new home point, I couldn’t bring the drone back to shore, no matter what I tried.
Eventually, the battery ran out and the drone sank into the lake.
Not only did I lose a significant amount of money due to DJI’s malfunctioning software, but now there’s also a lithium battery polluting the lake.)
After dozens of frustrating and unhelpful emails with DJI support, I was basically told to piss off. End of story.
They basically saying that their products is good for a year and then you can throw it in garbage. Expect it to start malfunctioning right after 1 year warranty.
I will never use DJI products again, and I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with them—or with any scammy chinese company that operates with such disregard for quality and customer service. I wish they were banned from Western markets altogether.
There are reputable US-based alternatives that offer better products and actually stand by them.
BTW DJI is the main supplier of death to russo-ukranian war for both sides. Their drones kill more people than bullets, shells, and missiles combined while making profits of both sides.
Karma has no mercy for those who profit from death—and by supporting this company, you’re putting yourself on that list.

I cant fault dji uk repair centre, sent my drone in after I crashed it, it was fixed and returned to me within 72 hours, it is flying like brand new.
Had a phone call with the service team to tell me the issues, and sent pictures of what was wrong and the repairs.
£72 to fix it was a very fair price.
Thanks again

dreadful company dreadful products I wish I never bought the drone now . been on phone hours trying to sort out a very simple issue and dji refused to help they just kept saying sorry ,if your looking for a drone that does what you expect then don't bother with dji as they will be of no help whatsoever . time to sell up and buy a different drone from a different company..

10/03 update:
Hi there,
We sincerely apologize that the Waypoint Flight function in DJI Fly did not meet your expectations and may have caused you inconvenience. Thank you for still reaching out to us and sharing your genuine thoughts. Your feedback is extremely valuable, as it helps us understand different user needs and scenarios, and guides us in improving our products moving forward.
Regarding your concern about not being able to generate straight waypoint routes, please allow me to explain further. In the current design, the system automatically smooths the routes between waypoints into curved paths. The original purpose of this design is to avoid abrupt turns during flight and filming, ensuring stability and seamless transitions in aerial footage, so that users can easily capture professional-quality videos.
We fully understand that this may not align with your creative preferences in certain scenarios. In some cases, straight flight paths can be equally important. Your feedback highlights the need for more flexibility in the feature design. We have carefully documented your input and will forward it to our product team as a valuable reference for potential enhancements in the future.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations this time. We truly value every user’s voice, and we will continue to work hard to provide functions that better align with diverse creative needs. Even if DJI may no longer accompany you, we wholeheartedly wish you smooth and enjoyable flights ahead.

Bought a Mini Pro 4 in June 24 and had issues with the controller which froze when turned on. I contacted the company, and began the process for repair. They issued an online return label. I stuck the entire drone in a box, affixed the label and posted last Thursday. The Drone was received, fixed and returned to me on Monday and I got it today! Not only that, but they replaced the drone as well as the controller and sent me back the SD card too.
Phenomenal Customer service.

Outstanding support from DJI, even without Care Refresh!
I've had two separate issues with my drones, and DJI’s support exceeded my expectations both times.
First, my DJI Neo, which didn't even have Care Refresh, stopped working mid-flight. I sent it in and was amazed to receive a brand-new replacement the very next day after they received it.
The second time, my DJI Avata 2 (this time covered by Care Refresh) suffered water damage. Again, the process was smooth and professional, DJI replaced it promptly with no hassle.
Great service, quick turnaround, and clear communication. You often hear horror stories with tech support, but DJI really delivers when it counts.
Highly recommended!
