The meals are super tasty with easy to follow directions. I would ask for better reminders to review orders prior to shipping to have time to change orders if wanted. Maybe send out two emails as reminders to review

We are not on any special diets and include all the foods Green Chef offers, but find the foods not very welcomed by many of the family members. Most of the produce is pretty rotten before it reaches us. The green onions always need replacement. They are not even usable and the fresh herbs similar, far from fresh. The meats are not as good as grocery store. I use this food service for the convenience of having it delivered and not having to plan or shop.

Recipes are easy to make with detailed written instructions and photos, and oh so tasty.
Ingredients are fresh, pre-portioned and often organic. I got to choose the recipes that work best for our family’s diets and tastes.
Meals are tasty and creative; different from the 8 or so recipes I used to make on rotation without Green Chef- always fun to try new foods. And I don’t have to think about what to serve:)

Way too expensive for the portion size I would be willing to pay that price if the portion was adequate. In the beginning of my subscription, my vegetables came pre-chopped now I just get like a full carrot. I could just do that on my own then. Would be very helpful if the vegetables were pre-cut.

I love the food. It’s well packed and has stayed cold for Florida heat. I would like to see lighter meals for summer. Dinner salads, fruit salads, including meat of course. Not a lot of cooking, especially not using the oven.

Updated from 2 stars to 1 star, because instead of addressing the issue they gave me a $30 bribe credit to change my review. Don't bother reaching out again, I've already cancelled.
Good recipes, but manipulative marketing. They advertise as healthy and organic, when really only the "fresh produce" is organic. Everything else has the worst ingredients possible, and I'm constantly replacing the provided ingredients with my own organic ones. Only 30% of the meal is actually organic, the rest of the ingredients are cheap and genetically modified. Would pay extra for 100% organic, but I guess most consumers are too focused on the price over health. Recipes need some work too, they take twice as long to cook as they advertise and the order of steps is very inefficient.

There are some very amazing recipes. I often love the texture and flavor dimensions of the recipes. Some of the ingredient choices are not as healthy as they could be. For example, there is sour cream and cream cheese in a lot of things, and I think there are healthier and more vegetarian, friendly choices. I have encountered a few things that I consider a bit overcomplicated. Also, I’m sticking with this plan because it tends to be healthier than most and more efficient and cost-effective than many.

Love: Recipes have quite a bit of variation and flavor profiles.
Improvement Note: size of protein consistency. For meat or fish , when only cooking for two people, the size and thickness of protein is not consistent which causes difference in cooking times.
