Sending this letter was a nightmare. Received a request for a POA (nobody knows why ... it was a freacking LETTER). They did not respond to emails. Phone calls reached a stupid AI system, with no chance to talk to a human. Then finally, after 21 hours they sent an email with the request for a POA for "importing" a letter! Then they charged an additional amount (60% of the original cost) to "represent" me in front of the importing authorities. The letter was opened but finally arrived. Absolutely dissapointed!

I chose UPS, very slooow...i didn't have a printer available and feel it would be advantageous if more shippers could accommodate those that don't... otherwise found the whole booking process quite simple.....

Parcel Monkey was significantly cheaper than booking with the carriers like UPS direct. It was expensive all ways round to bring a large parcel from the USA to the UK, so I chose the cheapest option with a fairly long delivery time, and it arrived within the promised time window and so I'm very happy with the service.

Issues throughout. As the sender I wasn't informed of any issues. Only the receiver was informed. On top of large delays once the item was delivered, extra fees were added. Why aren't these raised at the time UPS received the parcel? Parcel arrived later than originally predicted and with extra costs.

I have used this service twice now. First time, sending a package domestically, was just fine. No issues and a great price. This last time, however, I sent a package internationally (not sure if it matters), which arrived but the packaging was very damaged (blame it more on the carrier than Parcelmonkey, thanks UPS). My only issue? They decided to charge me more because my box was smaller and weighed less than I quoted. The reason? They won’t let you do any measurements precisely. My package was, say, 10.5” wide. They would only let me chose 10 or 11 inches. Obviously I would be charged more if my package was bigger than what I quoted, so I chose 11. Surely they wouldn’t have any reason to be upset with having more room, right? Obviously I was wrong. Same with weight. My package only weighed about half a pound. It won’t let you choose anything less than a pound, so I chose 1lb. Surely they wouldn’t have any reason to be upset with the package weighing less, right? Obviously I was wrong.
I work in shipping management, often dealing with LTL, and I know they’re more than happy to charge you extra for being over weight or over sized. I deal with price disputes with our AP clerk all the time, arguing over additional fees and charges. Never have I EVER been charged for underweighting or undersizing.
Far as I am concerned, this is in fraud territory, and they will never have my business again.

I paid $85 for overnight international shipping to Ireland. They told me overnight really meant 3-5 days. It left my town in Florida, and arrived in Tampa the next morning. Sat in Tampa for 2 days. The next day it arrived in Miami. Sat at Miami PO for 2 more days. Then arrived at the airport (presumably Miami or Ft Lauderdale). Two days later, it was reported to be on a plane and left the US. The next day it was again loaded on a plane and left the US. The third day in a row it has been loaded on a plane and left the US this morning.
As far as I know, it is still sitting in the Miami airport. I could have driven to the Miami airport in 4 hours from my house. So much for $85 "International Overnight".

Awesome rates, need better insurance
Awesome rates compared to going direct to UPS or FedEx, and service is just as fast if not faster! Only negative is the limitation on insuring some items (glass for example). Fix that and this would be a five star review.
