Rocket Lawyer should be ashamed by the way it handles subscriptions and renewals. I was charged $240 for an annual LLC-related subscription renewal with no meaningful advance warning, no clear opportunity to stop the charge before it hit, and no reasonable path to resolve it afterward. I never used the service. Not once. Yes, I understand that missing a renewal can technically be considered a customer oversight. But that is exactly why reputable companies have common-sense refund policies, especially when there has been zero account usage. Rocket Lawyer clearly chooses not to operate that way. Instead, they kept the full annual fee for a service I did not use and provided no customer-friendly process to make it right. That is not good business. That is taking advantage of people through fine print, automatic billing, and rigid policies designed to benefit the company at the customer’s expense. For a company of this size, this is unacceptable. Rocket Lawyer has the resources to handle situations like this fairly. They simply choose not to. My experience was not legal support. It was a $240 subscription trap. I would strongly caution anyone against trusting Rocket Lawyer with their business formation or legal service needs.

Overall, RocketLawyer made the process simple, transparent and cost effective. I was quite overwhelmed at first, but they explained the process, what they did and didn't do (so I could consider whether I wanted to proceed or find a more traditional solicitor for more in-depth (yet costly) advice. Once I'd made the decision then it was really simple, Aamer was really good at going through the implications and answering my questions. And, by the end, I felt confident signing. If you know what you want and aren't looking for any negotiating then I'd really recommend this approach.

The documents were easy to create although both renters declined to lease with me due to conditions in the lease. Which I thought were more than fair. No pets and/or required deposit. The other just couldnt afford the rental amount. Thus, I didnt use the documents and canceled the service.

Once I was told I could cancel the trial prescription even the same day I used it it was okay then. I appreciate that because I'm not using any more documents because I had one brother left and he passed away and I just needed one document to access some of his accounts. Thank you rocket

I paid for Rocket Lawyer expecting access to Legal Pro help, but the platform did not reliably deliver the service. The Legal Pro question box is limited to 600 characters, which makes it hard to explain anything complex. When I submitted a question with an attachment, I received notice that it had been answered, but the answer was not in the email and was not visible on my dashboard. Support told me to check the Completed section, switch views, click “See more,” use Chrome, and try another device. None of that solved the core issue: Rocket Lawyer said my legal question was answered, but I could not access the lawyer’s answer. In my experience, the website and support workflow prevented me from using the service I paid for.

Waste of time. Went through the questionaire and created a profile. When it came time to print or download Rocket Lawyer insisted I pay for a free trial of $200+. I deleted the file and started elsewhere. This is a clearing house for lawyer referrals.
