During the free trial I created and printed a room rental agreement. Once it billed the monthly charge I could no longer print any document I created. I canceled my credit card and Rocket Lawyer sent 2 more monthly charges to my new card. In addition, several new (fake businesses) reoccurring fraud charges started appearing on my new credit card immediately, prior to me even using the card. I am suspicious.

We are disappointed to hear about your billing experience, but want to reassure you that we do not have any kind of connection outside of our own business. We explain at the time of sign-up that as long as the Rocket Legal Plan is canceled during the Free Trial period, there is no billing whatsoever. Otherwise, it will convert into a paid Rocket Legal Plan.
Even when a paid Rocket Legal Plan is canceled, any completed documents can still be printed and/or downloaded as PDF files.

I am no less than SHOCKED at the score for Rocket Lawyer because my experience was negative, aside from being able to have my money refunded. I must applaud the rep who handled my email complaint, for that person took care of me.
That being said, my question, which was my entire reason for joining Rocket Lawyer in the first place, was never acknowledged by any entity. I was not offered a referral to an attorney. I got no action whatsoever.
I will not be using Rocket Lawyer again.

I have been a Rocket Lawyer member since early 2022 and have relied on this platform to support the legal needs of my company, Magiktek Systems, LLC, a verified DBE and SDVOSB-certified IT infrastructure firm. What I experienced in April 2026 has permanently changed my confidence in this platform.
I was connected through Rocket Lawyer with an individual representing himself as a licensed attorney for the purpose of redlining a Mutual NDA tied to a trademark-pending business initiative. Within hours of engaging, this individual solicited payment via personal Zelle to a private Apple ID email address, not a law firm payment system, not an invoice, not an ACH, a personal Zelle account. When I declined and requested a proper invoice, he agreed to send one. That invoice never arrived. The work was never delivered.
I conducted bar association searches across California and Florida. No licensed attorney matching this individual's profile was found. The name used appears to match a real Florida Bar attorney at a Fort Lauderdale firm, whose identity may have been borrowed. This platform facilitated what appears to be attorney impersonation fraud.
I submitted a formal complaint to Rocket Lawyer support with full screenshots and documentation. I received no response. Not an acknowledgment. Not a case number. Nothing.
I am not a new user. I am not someone who misunderstood the platform. I am a long-standing paying member…Rocket Legal+, who brought a legitimate, time-sensitive legal matter to this platform and was met with fraud and then silence.
Rocket Lawyer markets itself as a trusted legal resource for small businesses. A scam operator running on this platform with no consequence, and a support team that does not respond to documented fraud complaints, is a fundamental failure of that promise.
I would give zero stars if the option existed. I am reconsidering my continued membership and will be exploring alternative legal service platforms going forward. This situation deserves a direct response from Rocket Lawyer leadership, not an AI chatbot.

Said I can make a Lodger Agreement FREE but of course after I entered all details and spent the time doing it, I was asked to pay in order to download the file. Only £4.99, with a recurring yearly payment of £209 which I will probably need to beg for a refund after they ignore my cancelling request. It's what usually happens to these websites that need your card details. Dreadful experience every time

Due to amount of money charged I can no longer afford to keep subscription. The 7 day trial was not seven days it was 5 , I hope you guys know , times are tough and time is of the goes by fast . I emailed to make sure sure it had been 7 days free trial and I only got 5 days . Please keep in mind that I can’t afford 40 days not a year subscription.
