I've been using **Luminar Neo** for over three years now, and it has been my go-to desktop photo editor ever since. I edit all kinds of photos—travel, portraits, landscapes, and street photography—and one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is how easy it is to use. The interface is clean, the tools are straightforward, and I can get the results I want without spending hours editing. I've also used the AI features quite a bit, especially **Gen Erase**, **Gen Expand**, and **Gen Swap**. Gen Erase and Gen Expand work really well most of the time and have genuinely made my editing workflow faster. I've been impressed with how naturally they handle most images. The only feature that still feels like it needs improvement is **Gen Swap**. The idea is great, but the generated objects often don't match the lighting, colors, or overall mood of the original image. Because of that, they tend to stand out instead of blending in naturally. It sometimes feels like the generated object has simply been placed on top of the photo rather than being part of it. Overall, I'm very happy with Luminar Neo and it's still the editor I recommend to others because of how simple and enjoyable it is to use. If the quality of Gen Swap improves, I think the AI toolkit would be one of the best available.

I am using Luminar already for many years, since it was called Luminar 2018. From there on, it was getting better from year to year. Today I’m really happy with Luminar Neo. I bought it once before but ended up canceling my subscription because I thought Lightroom was all I needed. After using Lightroom on its own for a while, I realized how much I missed Luminar Neo. The Light Depth and Enhance tools, in particular, became features I really appreciated. Help Team was great! I had what I was sure was a simple question - I was confused about adding Luminar Neo to a new computer if I already had it on two PC's that I had purchased seats for. I’m relatively new to photo editing and after some research I devises to give Luminar Neo a try. Worked great for a while but at some point the AI assistant stopped working. I contacted the support team and, even if the initial fixes they proposed didn’t work, they didn’t give up on me and kept trying until one fix they asked me to try worked. They are very reactive and professional, and now I’m back with a fantastic photo editing program and I know that if something goes wrong again they have a great team ready to support me!

They carefully investigated the issue, explained exactly what had happened, fixed the problem, and confirmed that my Lifetime License remains active and that all automatic renewals were canceled. Bought a lifetime license for one of their products, but they dropped support and they just ask you to buy another lifetime license for another product. A scummy way to make money. Edit: I already contacted you via the chat on your website, but you were pretty hostile and demeaning, spamming a link to your new products. You deactivated the activation server, deliberately ending the support of older products and there is no guarantee that won’t happen in the near future with your current products. Totally fraudulent.

Stay away from this fraudulent company. Their software doesn’t work under Windows 11 and although I bought a lifetime product key, they’ll gladly remind me that the key still works, although the software doesn’t.
Hi there! I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. As far as I can see, your request was about Photolemur 3, our legacy software from the year 2018. Since this software hasn't received the necessary updates, we cannot guarantee its compatibility with newer OS versions. I understand how frustrating it is when the app suddenly stops working. I hope you'll get a chance to try out Luminar Neo someday.
I'm a photography enthusiast. I've used Luminar products and they're fairly powerful for quick editing of photos (removing bits you don't want, adjusting contrast and colour in areas). However: I really want to start editing RAW photos. I've realised that RAW photos exported from Neo are very fuzzy, nowhere near as sharp as the original JPG version direct from the camera. For wildlife photography this is no good. So I'm off to look for other software now. Update 29 July: Skylum support did contact me to offer support on this, saying Luminar Neo has a "Develop RAW" tool that automatically pops up. But it's not working with my Sony ARW files, hopefully one day they'll add that as an option

Shitty support. I installed the program on Windows 11, but it doesn't work. I can't even start it. I read the FAQ (including the fresh Windows 11 installation instructions) and followed all the steps, but the problem still persists. Support hasn't responded to me.
