While the onboarding is daunting at first, but when I meet with Valerie, she walks me through the process in the order things need to happen and taking one thing at a time, we get alot accomplished. She takes the time to listen to and answer my questions thoroughly. She is a very good source of information.

I had a great time working with the Tebra team. From getting scheduled for onboarding appointments to getting a sandbox version to test out a product before signing up for it. I really appreciate working with Adrianne and Janyn and Marie. They were all amazing and helped me to the best of their ability.

Like the meds and labs in one spot and the ability for system to be robust enough to handle high client volume and schedule loading for 7 full time providers. I like the development teams responsiveness and Vince our onboarding specialist. The reviews sent out.
What dislike is that it has no app, and essentially a useless client portal. Lack of customizable things, the getting into systems and no scheduling for clients or ability to see their appointments. Many other things have been solved by the team.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear that having meds and labs in one spot, plus a system robust enough to handle high client volume and scheduling for 7 full-time providers, has worked well for you. It's also great to know that Vince and our development team have made a positive impression with their responsiveness.
We hear you on the areas that need work. We're currently building a new and improved patient portal experience, and we're actively working on enhancing scheduling, customization, and more. Your feedback helps us prioritize what matters most, and we're excited for you to see what's coming next.
Customer service people are very nice and they want to be helpful but they have ZERO authority to help. I've been trying to cancel our account for almost 6 months now. Ive opened several "Tickets" but they somehow get closed. Jorge manages the one ticket that they keep open but he has not contacted me in more than 30 days. despite many many emails and phone fcalls during this time. I've asked for this issue to be escalated but only Jorge can do that. How can I escalate this if Jorge refuses to return my calls or emails. I would NEVER recommend this system to anyone. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Sofia was extremely patient and took the time to explain everything in a clear and easy-to-understand way. She didn’t rush through the process and made sure I was comfortable at every step. She walked me through how to navigate and use the system step by step, which really helped take the stress out of learning something new. Whenever I had questions, she answered them thoroughly and made sure I understood before moving on. Her approach was supportive, professional, and very helpful, and I truly appreciated the effort she put into making sure I felt confident using the system.

I really liked the extent of training Tebra provided with available 1:1 training. However, it was not easily catered to my individual needs. The structure of the training was very rigid and set where as instead I was hoping to utilize the time with specific questions I encountered. Sometimes spent lengthy time with the trainer researching or trying to figure out my question and felt unproductive. So the idea and amount of training is great but the execution was lacking

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We're glad you valued the availability of 1:1 training, and we completely understand your frustration with the rigid structure—training should work for you, not the other way around. We've shared your experience with our onboarding team, and someone will be reaching out to make sure you get the tailored support you need. We're committed to making this better.
I have regretted choosing Tebra since the day I signed the contract. The rep I spoke with to purchase the license was amazing, but as soon as I signed, I found it very difficult to get in touch with my onboarding manager to start the onboarding process.
The software itself is clunky and really not customizable. I am unable to set up telehealth as the only option for patients to schedule, they cannot self schedule more than 6 weeks out, I can't seem to require payment prior to a patient logging in to a cash-pay visit, and patients are able to log in to visits without filling out any of our required forms.
Their templates are clunky and difficult to customize, and processing billing has unnecessary steps. I wish I could have walked through a telehealth visit before signing like I could with Charm, to at least know what to expect. Unless big changes come, I will plan for a different EHR when my contract expires.

Thank you for taking the time to share this honest feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear your experience didn't match the standard we strive for, especially after such a positive start with our sales rep. We've shared your feedback with our onboarding and product teams, as input like yours helps us improve. While our software is always evolving, we're sorry the features you needed most weren't available when you needed them. We truly appreciate you giving us a clear picture of where we can do better.
I have been unable to use my billing system for more than a week. customer service takes info and says they will call back within an hour, but never reach back out. The login to my Parallels has been reset 3-4 times, yet I cannot go back and log in. Nobody available to help- they just take a ticket, sent me a reset link again, and let it be! It getting very ridiculous, i dont know if this is a system that I can continue to use at this rate- not reliable

No transparency, refusal to use email for communications, and critical information left out
Our experience with Tebra has been extremely disappointing and has negatively impacted the launch of our new practice.
During the sales process, we were encouraged to move forward with what was presented as an opportunity to "try out" the platform. What was not clearly disclosed was that signing the agreement effectively committed us to paying for an entire year, regardless of whether the platform met our needs. Had this been presented more transparently, we would have made a different decision.
Since realizing we were contractually obligated, we invested significant time completing Tebra University trainings. Despite completing the available education, we still found the platform difficult to navigate, and many of the questions critical to our practice operations were not addressed in the training materials.
We repeatedly requested information via email regarding onboarding requirements and billing setup. Instead, we were continuously told that the information could only be provided during an onboarding call. Scheduling those calls proved difficult because available appointment times rarely aligned with our schedules. Requests for email communication were repeatedly declined.
When we finally completed the onboarding session—more than two months after our initial demo—we were informed that additional steps were required before we could bill Medicare and Medicaid and that there would be an approximate 35-day delay even after credentialing. This information was essential to our business planning and could have been communicated in a simple email on day one. Had it been disclosed earlier, we could have begun those processes immediately rather than losing valuable time and revenue.
Perhaps most frustrating was the lack of accountability. At no point did anyone acknowledge how these delays affected our practice or offer meaningful solutions. Instead, the responsibility was largely placed on us for not being able to attend onboarding meetings that could have been replaced with basic written communication.
We have also received invoices that do not appear to align with the pricing discussed during the sales process, creating additional concerns regarding transparency.
For a company that markets itself as a solution for healthcare practices, the overall experience has felt unnecessarily complicated, poorly communicated, and lacking in professionalism. The delays and lack of transparency have cost our startup valuable time and income during a critical growth period.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend Tebra to new practices seeking a straightforward, transparent, and supportive EHR and billing solution. There are alternative platforms that, in our opinion, provide a more user-friendly experience and clearer communication.

Thank you for sharing your experience in such detail. We’re truly sorry to hear that parts of your onboarding journey with Tebra didn’t meet your expectations, particularly during such an important time for launching your practice. You've highlighted important concerns, and we fully recognize how these challenges can impact a new practice. While we strive to provide seamless support, your feedback shows where we have room to improve, and we take that seriously. We appreciate you sharing your contact information with us so that a member of our team was able to reach out to better understand your situation and give us the opportunity to learn from your experience.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I got locked out of the software. I informed rep that I am the owner, verified credentials and he could not help for a basic password reset. He said that as a "Level 1" customer support rep, he couldn't help. Asked for a supervisor and instead of meeting a customer's needs, or even him going to "Level 2" for assistance, he said that no one would or could help solve- even up to IT development. Basic functions of password resets or unlocking accounts should be basic, entry level skills that can be fixed. If not, then why does your customer support even exist? I would rather hand write CMS 1500 forms with a quill pen and by candlelight then use your customer support.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience—this is not the level of service we hold ourselves to, and we completely understand your frustration. Protecting both the security and accessibility of your data is a top priority for us, and we recognize that being locked out of the software with no clear path to resolution is unacceptable. A member of our team will be reaching out to you directly to get this resolved as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and are committed to making this right.
Desiree onboarding manager was great. Lack of consistent communication and point of contact has been a major issue. They are happy to get your signature to start a contract and don't seem to care about you as a client past that.
Reply from Tebra2026-06-08
We're thrilled you had a great onboarding experience with Desiree, but we sincerely apologize for the frustration and operational strain you’ve experienced since. While we're glad our customer care team provided remedies to ensure your system is functional and to ease the financial impact of recent delays, we understand your concerns about consistent communication. We truly value you as a client well beyond the initial contract and are fully committed to improving our communication to provide the reliable, ongoing support you deserve.
