What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers reported feeling trapped due to subscription practices, with charging persisting even after free trials ended or cancellations were attempted. Reviewers frequently mentioned misleading sign-up processes, where users were automatically enrolled in extra subscriptions or faced unseen terms and conditions. However, some people mentioned that assistance was available, with specific instances where customers were offered better tailored plans and received helpful service. A few other people also felt that the software itself could be excellent for creative and business work, and some even enjoyed specific programs.

This has got to be the worst next…

This has got to be the worst next generation' brand and tool existing. It is not intuitive, many of the features do not work properly and they are charging top dollar. I have just had a terrible customer experience attempting to make a small change to a PDF form. I cannot wait for the time that I do not have to use (or attempt to use - should i say) this product.

Took 20 minutes just to open a pdf and figure out how to add the date on the document. You cant just add in text where you need it to be. Every time i click one button five different pop up show up offering me something i dont need or want. always trying to upsell me on some feature. i have to subscribe every month for something i barely use. Alls im trying to do is change the date on the document and i cant. thanks adobe. im not paying you anything to edit three numbers on a document and then not use this junk again for five months.

Plan cancelled before end date

I had a plan that ended on 16th of august and on 9th of august it was suspended. After contacting Adobe and demanding a real agent instead of AI I was constantly answered only generic texts that asked how can they help me buy a new plan... In the end I got 7 day free trial for the last week and my plan was never reinstated....

Adobe subscription auto renewal - cannot be cancelled

I purchased an Adobe subscription. It was not made clear that there is an auto-renewal of the subscription in the plan which cannot be switched off by the Customer. To exit the plan therefore you have to cancel it and you may be charged a substantial fee for doing this. Adobe does not work on my PC so I want to cancel it, but they want to charge me £120 to cancel. If you buy Abobe read the small print. The terms are not clear at point of purchase, especially ref auto renewal. An annual subscription charged monthly can result in a big cancellation fee if you leave, and you cannot delete the auto renewal. So, you either pay a big fee or are locked in automatically to continue.

Most evil company on earth

The only thing they deserve is to be sued into hell. Their deceiving plans are one of the greediest forms of contract you'll ever encounter in your life. People who pirate their software are way less evil than Adobe itself. I still can't believe they settled the lawsuit for only 75 million after all the money they STOLE from people with their plans, with their lack of transparency, and with their practices. And don't even get me started on their AI accessing all your files, even the ones under NDAs.

⭐ Misleading “monthly” subscription…

⭐ Misleading “monthly” subscription with early cancellation fee Signed up for what appeared to be a monthly subscription. In reality it’s a 12-month contract billed monthly — something Adobe buries in the fine print. When I cancelled, I was charged an early termination fee for the remaining months. This pricing structure is designed to mislead, and judging by the reviews here, it catches out thousands of customers. Paying a penalty to stop using software is indefensible. Avoid, or at minimum read every word before subscribing. Plenty of alternatives out there that don’t punish you for leaving.

I would give 0 starts if I could

I would give 0 starts if I could, horrible customer service, was meant to receive a refund two separate occasions and charge a more affordable plan after my annual plan increased 2x cost (WHAT?), and then the customer support team forgot to issue my refund. This is just such a poor horrible experience.

BIGGEST SUBSCRIPTION REGRET. LESSON: Adobe Trial: Easy to Join, Costly to Leave

We signed up for an Adobe free trial to evaluate one of their products. After trying it on the very first day, we decided it wasn’t useful for our needs. Unfortunately, although we chose not to continue, we forgot to cancel the subscription before the trial ended. The very next day, when our card was charged, we immediately contacted Adobe Support and requested a refund. We received no meaningful response. It’s now the second month, and the subscription continues to be billed. To make matters worse, Adobe also imposes an early cancellation fee of around ₹700. As a result, we’ve lost close to ₹2,000 for a product that provided us with virtually no value. My advice is to be extremely cautious before signing up for any Adobe trial subscription. Read the cancellation terms carefully and set a reminder to cancel well before the trial ends. Otherwise, you may end up paying for a service you don’t intend to use and face additional cancellation charges.

Predatory subscription model

Predatory subscription model. This company is trash. Not sure how many weeks ago I was able to highlight and copy lines from a pdf document to paste in another place but it worked perfectly. Now that they have an AI assistant that is only $25 a month billed annually, suddenly I can't copy and paste anything from a PDF document. I am going to find anything other than adobe going forward.

Free Trial Cancelled but Still Charged

I recently signed up for a free trial with Adobe and cancelled well within the trial period, yet I was still charged subscription fees. Attempting to resolve this issue has been extremely frustrating. Adobe’s support process seems designed to prevent customers from speaking to someone directly. Every avenue I tried led me in circles, with no clear way to escalate the issue or contact a representative. This is unacceptable. If a customer cancels within the free trial period, they should not be charged, and there should be a straightforward process to resolve billing errors. Adobe, please contact me as soon as possible to investigate this matter and arrange a refund.

ADOBE IS A SCAM

ADOBE IS A SCAM Must have forgotten I had a free trial and find out it signed me up FOR A YEAR with absolutely no notice. I had to pay $130 to cancel - got the cancellation email - but they kept taking money out and the subscription is still active on my account. There is absolutely no way to contact them directly and their AI chatbot does NOTHING.

An early cancellation fee

An early cancellation fee, I'll never be back. The amount of effort it took to unsubscribe and I had to pay a 73 EUR fine for cancelling a monthly subscription that cost me 18 eur a month for years. Adobe, if you read this, I'll make sure to tell my 2500 colleagues of my experience. Enjoy my 73 EUR.

I tried using Adobe’s software during…

I tried using Adobe’s software during the trial period, but due to severe performance issues and lack of value, I decided not to continue. However, canceling the subscription turned out to be a nightmare: Blocked Cancellation: The system artificially blocks you from canceling unless you update your payment information first, which is completely unreasonable and violates consumer rights. Support Retention Games: When contacting customer support to resolve this technical block, agents ignore direct requests for cancellation and instead try to push alternative subscriptions (like Adobe Express). Poor Performance: The software performance during the trial period was abysmal and nowhere near worth the price or hassle. Forcing users into payment traps instead of providing a smooth cancelation process is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs!!!
