What people say

They Don't Ship Anywhere Apperantly

BestBuy's delivery doesn't feel like coming to my small town either. But they wont tell you that. I spent an hour and a half trying to order two things, contacting their useless chatbot, calling customer service, and being referred to a more complex customer service just to be told the sellers don't ship to my town. Instead I was attempting to order just to be shown errors, website crashes, account that ceased to exist, slow responses and so so much more goodies. I didn't see a zero stars option.

Best Buy Fails at Recycling What They Sell

I am only writing this review on Trustpilot because you cannot give any feedback to Best Buy about their recycling program. Which sucks. This company sells millions of devices with lithium-ion batteries but they no longer recycle them. It is egregious behavior. I like BB as a place to buy my electronics and I have had good experiences with them doing so, but not taking the responsibility of recycling what they sell is beyond the pale. You are not supposed to dispose of lithium-ion batteries in regular garbage but when it becomes too difficult to do the right thing, humans will take the path of least resistance. I was even told by a BB employee that common alkaline batteries need to be individually bagged to be accepted by Best Buy now! WTF? (You can actually tape the ends of these batteries to prevent any sparking or combustible mishaps - you can also throw them in the regular trash but that still feels wrong.)

Zero stars- no compassion

Zero stars. Our refrigerator went bad. Purchased a new one. It was delivered, not even 30 seconds after the delivery men left the refrigerator did not work. We looked up everything that it could have been and it still didn’t work. This was Saturday. Called bb and they told us we had to wait until Monday to call to get an exchange. Which really is unacceptable, when this was not our fault. Called Monday, earliest delivery was Thursday or Saturday. We now are out a fridge in super hot weather living out of coolers. They had zero compassion, zero urgency to help get a new fridge to us any faster. No compensation. They really were just trained customers service reps who weren’t willing to speak to anyone else to help expedite the situation. Will never purchase from them again. I’d suggest going somewhere else who has better customer service.

If I could give them a below zero Mark

If I could give them a below zero Mark, I would horrible customer service I ordered a product online and before the product is even shipped I can’t cancel it. They told me there’s no other way to do this so ultimately I have to pay for a product that’s gonna come that I don’t need. The customer rep that I talk to One was in United Kingdom and one was in Guatemala. There is no people in the United States anymore that can handle customer service reps. At an American companyCan treat Americans like this.

Best Buy missed my delivery, gave me false information, then rescheduled it without my consent

I ordered a 100 inch Hisense television from Best Buy with home delivery, unboxing, assembly, and placement on my stand. Delivery was confirmed for July 13 between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Nobody arrived. Nobody called. I contacted Best Buy three times during the delivery window. Each representative told me the delivery was still scheduled and instructed me to continue waiting. The following day, the appointment page still displayed the expired July 13 appointment. I then spent approximately one hour on the telephone with another Best Buy representative while she contacted Best Buy’s third party delivery company. I was promised calls from both the delivery company and Best Buy within 30 minutes. Neither called. Instead, Best Buy sent me an email rescheduling the delivery to July 27, with a twelve hour arrival window from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Nobody asked whether the new date was acceptable. I called the delivery company myself and rejected the new appointment. Best Buy dispatch then contacted me to confirm cancellation. The television was never delivered. Best Buy wasted two days of my time, repeatedly supplied information which proved false, failed to honor promised callbacks, and moved the appointment by two weeks without my consent. This was not a single delivery error. It was a complete breakdown in scheduling, communication, contractor management, and customer service. I cancelled the order and will purchase the television elsewhere. I would not trust Best Buy with another large item delivery The situation continued after I posted my original review. On July 14 at 1:43 p.m., a Best Buy dispatcher named Nick called and verbally confirmed cancellation of the order and a refund to my original payment method. I received no written confirmation. On July 15, Best Buy posted the full charge to my Apple Card. The charge pushed the account over its credit limit. I disputed the transaction with Apple, which later applied a provisional balance adjustment. That adjustment came from Apple, not Best Buy. At 9:38 a.m. on July 15, a Best Buy representative named Candice said the order was in pending cancellation status and that Nick had entered a “cancel in transit” note. She said the television originated from the Abercorn Street store in Savannah and that the process would take 24 to 48 hours. She said she would follow up with the store if the cancellation had not completed by the end of the day. I received no follow up. On July 15, the order still showed “out for delivery.” On July 16, it continued to show “out for delivery,” together with the contradictory instruction that I needed to schedule delivery. At 2:40 p.m. on July 16, another representative, whose name sounded like Denis or Dennis, said the cancellation had to be “pushed through the system.” He promised a confirmation email within 15 minutes and a refund within 24 hours. At the time of this update, Best Buy has provided no written cancellation confirmation and no refund. Denis’s statements are another promise, not evidence that the issue has been resolved. Best Buy failed to deliver the television, failed to communicate, rescheduled without approval, failed to process the cancellation, charged my account after verbally confirming cancellation, and has still not refunded the money.

Keep Sanity Don’t order from Best Buy

1st, you won’t ever get to speak to a real person if Best Buy account tracking indicates your 77” tv was delivered!! One site said delivered tomorrow, account says complete and delivered. If… I take door #1. I sit at home all day from work and it may or may not be delivered, or door #2 and wait again tomorrow to see if it’s going to be delivered! However, I could sit at home away from work to wait on my Tv to be delivered, signed for and it doesn’t show up at all because someone delivered it maybe, but no indication it was being delivered Sunday, July 12, 2026!! They will email my inquiry in 24-48 hours so I’m not going to speak with a real person! Trust me … for your sanity don’t order from Best Buy if you can’t walk in and pick it up which I can’t I’m 2 hours away!!!! Never ever again!!

I ordered TV online

I ordered TV online, set up delivery day for Saturday 7am to 7pm. 12pm on Saturday they call and tell me they dont have the TV in stock anymore. They tell me after I been waiting here for half the day of the delivery day!! You tell me you didnt know this a week ago! Now they tell me it gonna take 7 to 10 days to get my refund! I quit buying from this dump years ago figured I would give them another shot, well I am now done with this crap hole.

What went right - nothing at all

What went right? 1) My husband did the measurements, and he cut it close. He only allowed for an extra 1/2 of space to fit. Delivery guys refused to even try to get the appliance in, even though the space was 1/2 in bigger than item. When we destroyed our door frame to give them the extra space, they said that they were going to leave because they could not wait - mind you we had an original 12 hr window that dropped to a 4 hr window. They were here for 15 minutes & were trying to leave. Nothing on the website says to give a minimum 1-2 inches extra space like the delivery person was saying. We finally convince them to try & surprise, it slid in easily. THEN they left without cleaning water on the floor from removing the old appliances, left garbage everywhere, did NOT hook up the water line like they are supposed to, and did not clean the appliance door. It has marker everywhere. In ADDITION, they left without telling us how long to wait before plugging in the refrigerator. Depending on how it was transported, we are supposed to wait a certain amount of time before plugging in or risk damaging the compressor. Horrible experience, Best Buy customer service was NO HELP. Will NEVER buy anything from them ever again.

Lenovo Laptop Incident(s)

While my Lenovo laptop is finally working, it took some back bending to get here. When initially looking for a Lenovo laptop (a brand I trusted), I would go on the Best Buy website, inspect the computer's specs and price, and order it for pickup in store. However, every time I picked up the computer and began using it, there was some strange issue that did not seem possible to solve just through internet troubleshooting. When taking it to Geek Squad, they did not offer any solution and therefore I had to exchange it for another Lenovo laptop of the same model. I ended up replacing the model 4 times because of similar issues before switching to a different model. While I would usually blame manufacturers for poor design, I noticed that employees at Best Buy sometimes did not take proper care of their equipment (one time witnessing an employee drop the computer in its packaging right before handing it off to me). Overall, whether the manufacturers of Lenovo or the employees need to improve their methods of care, I have overexerted my energy when searching for a computer.

Scheduled a tv repair recieved a…

Scheduled a tv repair recieved a noticed after midnight saying the technician had cancel. Turns out their problem was actually our problem and we needed to reschedule. Unfortunately the next available appointment was 6 days later on a Saturday. Called the truly awful geek squad number and talked with rude customer service rep. Decided to go to the store since the don't publish the actual phone number. The attempted to escalate the issue. The next person called back and couldn't do anything and gave a number to call saying they may be able to assist.....nope they only handle appliance issue. That person gave another number they said that they might be able to help.....nope. Seems the only thing bestbuy is good at is apologies. When this gets resolved we will never shop bestbuy. Upper management at bestbuy is horrible their motto must thank you for calling bestbuy we're not happy until your unhappy.

I usually do not post negative things…

I usually do not post negative things ,but I took my granddaughters iPhone to Best Buy per apples request since it was under warranty. That was June 10th she had had it 2 months and the motherboard needed to be replaced. They told me the part was ordered and when it came in they would call me. June 16th no calls repair pending. I made several calls and was promised return calls which I never received. Several documented chats. Called Apple to advise them of situation. They tried calling Best Buy but they did not answer their instore phone. June 30th I went in the store was informed the carrier lost the shipment! They did not bother to call me nor did they reorder another one from Apple. THEY did nothing until I came into the store. Supposedly the part was reordered on Tues the 30th but Best Buy says the label was created but it’s not been shipped! I do not know what’s going on but I would think before I took anything there for repair. Apple can offer me no resolution, I think they should send me a new phone but that’s not their policy ! It’s very frustrating and still no phone!

Item not delivered; Best Buy did not provide a refund or replacement.

“Pedí [Beats - Studio Pro - Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones - Navy], orden # BBY01-807204188064. “I ordered [Beats - Studio Pro - Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones - Navy], orden # BBY01-807204188064. The delivery carrier (Roadie) marked the package as ‘delivered’ with a photo showing a door that is NOT my door — clear evidence of a misdelivery. I reported the issue to Best Buy, reported it directly to the delivery company Roadie, and filed a police report with my local department. After several days, more than 7 phone calls, and multiple emails, Best Buy support simply told me they would NOT take responsibility for my purchase. I had to file a chargeback with my bank and submit a formal complaint with the BBB. It’s unacceptable that a company this size would abandon a customer despite clear photographic evidence of their own delivery error.”

Worst Customer Support I've Ever experienced

I have never experienced customer service as disappointing as I did with Best Buy regarding what should have been a simple resolution. When my new stove was delivered, I **did not purchase or request a haul-away service** for my old stove. Despite that, the delivery crew mistakenly loaded my old stove onto their truck and left with it while I was inside setting up my kitchen after the installation. Mistakes happen. I wasn't happy about it, but I understood that people make errors. I simply expected Best Buy to correct their own mistake. I reported the issue on Friday and was promised someone would contact me within 24–48 hours. That never happened. After hearing nothing, I contacted Best Buy through their live chat. My first representative, Davani, kept me waiting for over 40 minutes, repeatedly blaming the delay on a "slow system." During that entire time, there were no meaningful updates, no progress, and no attempt to resolve my issue. After 43 minutes, I requested to speak with a supervisor. Unfortunately, things only got worse. The supervisor, Karthik, didn't apologize for the mistake or show any concern about the fact that Best Buy's delivery team removed property they had absolutely no authorization to take. Instead, he questioned why I "allowed" the installers to take my stove. I explained that I was inside my home setting up the newly installed appliance and naturally assumed Best Buy's employees would only remove items they were authorized to remove. His response was astonishing. He told me that if someone had been there to stop the installers from taking the stove, this wouldn't have happened. Read that again. Instead of taking responsibility for Best Buy's employees removing my property without permission, he shifted the blame onto me for not supervising his delivery crew. That is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to stand guard over delivery personnel to ensure they don't remove property they were never instructed to take. The entire interaction demonstrated a complete lack of accountability, empathy, and professionalism. The issue wasn't just the mistaken removal of my stove—it was the dismissive attitude afterward and the implication that Best Buy bears no responsibility for the actions of its own employees. I expected an apology, ownership of the mistake, and a clear plan to return my stove. Instead, I received excuses, delays, victim-blaming, and some of the worst customer service I have encountered in years. Best Buy made the mistake. Best Buy failed to follow up as promised. Best Buy wasted nearly an hour of my time in chat. And finally, Best Buy's supervisor chose to blame the customer instead of accepting responsibility. If this is the standard of customer support Best Buy considers acceptable, then the company has a serious problem with its customer service culture. I sincerely hope someone in management reviews this interaction because no customer should ever be treated this way after a company removes their property without authorization.
