I love how the food, recipes, and snacks are clean and organic!! The prepared recipes delivered at my door make things so much easier and we love it! I have a family of 3, myself, my husband and my college boy. My boys eat quite a bit. So even though I’ve been buying servings for 3, the servings are a bit small. I feel like I need to increase my servings to 5 to 6 in order to fill them up. Sometimes after eating one of these meals, they raid the kitchen for more food. There’s also not many side dishes. Maybe this is why the boys aren’t getting filled up. I would like to see Hungryroot incorporate a second side into their meals. But all in all, this is a fantastic meal service and we will be continuing with it. Thank you for providing healthier, easy options!

Food was delivered on date scheduled. Cold foods were still cool. Everything was fresh. One hiccup and was resolved in less than an hour. Enjoy being able to change out my order. First meal was salmon and enjoyed freshness.

The first week trying hungryroot delivery was awful. It came after midnight and sat in front of of my door until the next morning at 8:00a.m. Had to throw out all the refrigerated food because it was not cold yo the touch. They were refunding my first week so I said I will try one more week to see if delivery will be better. If not I will cancel.

The quality of the ingredients was impressive. The prepared bean salad I ordered maintained its texture, not soggy at all. The seafood was fresh & clean. The packaging was environmentally friendly, delivery was seamless. I do wish there were more single serve options.

I am 83 do not drive anymore so very helpful when the food gets delivered every week. Also am vegitarian and gluten free so am glad you have lots of great dishes geared toward it

We justed started with Hungryroot...however I felt that I should write a review. There isn't a meal that we haven't enjoyed. A good variety and the fact that you can not only choose the food, you can also choose the quantity. Being able to adjust the amount of meals based on our travel and work schedules is great. And the added bonus of a free item each week allows us to try new items.

Love the convenience of having someone else choose my meals! Recipes are ready, I don't have to plan what we're having. I just choose from what was sent and within 30-45 minutes dinner is on the table!

I was interested in hungry root for many months. I finally was ready to give it a chance...and already my first box EXCEEEDED my expectations. I currently also ordered home chef (which i love) but i wanted to try a healthy approach. The one thing that deterred me from hungry root was that I thought it was only groceries. Well with more ads showing up in my feed, I was able to see that they offered dinner kits. Dinners and breakfast were more my interest because I needs the assist with my busy week. It is a wonderful routine that 1x a week I sit and think about which meals fit into each week. The best part that I was able to realize is that hungry root isn't just meals to cook, but it's quick, easy, healthy meals ALONG WITH snacks and little desserts. I can't believe I have waited this long to try! I have already told so many friends and sent them videos of my first box. The fact that the food was healthy treats which I hunt down at certain grocery stores and were delivered right to my door!!!!

It is my first week with Hungry Root. The box came and was still chilled. All the produce was fresh. I have enjoyed the meals. The flavor is good and portion sizes are nice. I am a single person and usually eat two meals a day. So need to work on getting the correct amount on my order. I started out with what a usually spend at the grocery. But that seems to be more then I need and will be purchasing less so hope to save some money.

I would give them a non star however that's not an option. I spent 180 dollars for a weeks worth of groceries to start. This was my first and last experience with Hungryroot. They forgot to send my recipes and I had no idea what to do. I reached to them only to have to wait for a response. By the time I received a response they offered me $5 dollars refund. By this time my vegetable mixes had soured. So they offered me $20. I wasn't trying to get a refund. I knew I was screwed. Never again

A couple recipes were just ok. And a couple refrigerated items were smashed so I threw them out. The overnight oats and the creamer. Other than that I enjoyed the rest. This week I’ve ordered a lot of different items. Hoping they’ll be good. Thank you.
