This is the worst company I have ever…

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I purchased Resing through plugin boutique and attempted to creat an account at IK Multi Media. It failed every time with logging in.I wrote to support. Three days later they sent some login details and it failed so I wrote back. A couple days passed they sent me some more and I managed to create an account and download the product. For the next week they kept sending me more login details even though I had downloaded the product which they confirmed I had.I have created 10 new passwords to login to the Product Manager in the past week and today yes they have sent me more so I am now on my 11th. This time guess what they failed every time.Note each time they send out new login details it deletes your previous password.I have replied every time asking them to stop sending them but they obviously do not read the replies and when they send their messages your replies are not in the chain. If I load Resing into my daw it tells me to sign in to the Product Manager to access it. I am totally exhausted after a week as there is no way out just like the song Hotel California.I already have a full time job I don't need another one. Do not buy anything from this company unless you want to end up in a psychiatric hospital. I would like to update my review. The manager of the support team contacted me to apologise for the failures and stopped the replies coming to me to keep changing my password and locking me out.I now have access to my account and access to the Production Manager app to use the product I purchased.I hope it continues and issues like this do not happen again.

Thanks for the support!

Loved both their soft- and hardware products anyway; then customer support was really forthcoming when it came to a serial number issue. Don't believe everything you read on Reddit and maybe try being nice to people! To the team at IK: Keep up the good work! :)

Terrible Customer Support Experience

Bought a pair of I Loud MTM Monitors about 4 years ago, both speakers have failed over that time. Customer support was really slow and repairs took an age, together with losing the item during transport. I will never buy another set of speakers from this manufacturer again. Stick with proper monitor manufacturers like Neumann or Genelec that make products built to last a lifetime.

IK Multimedia Total VI MAX 2

I’m a pianist/keyboardist who has been using (and overusing) virtual instruments (and not only those) for many years now. I’ve purchased several products from IK Multimedia (Pianoverse, Syntronik 2 MAX, SampleTank 4 MAX, SampleTron 2, MODO Bass, MODO Drums, Hammond B-3X, etc.), and I must say with great satisfaction that they sound fantastic. The interface is well designed, the sounds are beautiful and very realistic—especially the vintage and electromechanical synths. With SampleTank 4, you have everything a pianist/keyboardist could need at your disposal. Miroslav Philharmonik 2 is also excellent for anyone who needs orchestral sounds. In my opinion, it has been underrated over the years, but the sound quality is outstanding. The pianos (Pianoverse) are perhaps the best currently on the market: great tone, excellent dynamics, spatial depth, and so on. A few words about customer support: I had a small issue with an activation code, but after contacting customer service via email, everything was resolved in less than an hour. What can I say—very satisfied. You can often find bundles at amazing discounts that are definitely worth grabbing.

IK dev team breaking flagship product functions and unwilling/unable to fix

I pre-ordered from IK after having had their iLoud Precision MTM ($2000/pair) and remote ($99) for a year and liked them. Adding the three 6.5" radiators extends the bass in a way the ports on the MTM's just can't. IK forces you to upgrade the Precision MTM's firmware to use with the iLoud sub, which uses their new ARCX software, replacing the X-Monitor software that comes with the precisions. The Precisions now no longer work with the X-Monitor software ARCX replaces. Problem is, they didn't fully transfer any of the functionality of the flagships to use with the sub within the new ARCX software (such as the speaker profile switching from the $99 remote). The remote no longer fully works in the 2-way fashion of X-Monitor, allowing you to swap speaker profiles (some with bass cuts) from the software to speakers/remote or from speaker/remote to software (Which is why the Precisions each use a usb port). In ARCX, the remote now only changes the profile in the speakers, but no longer works with the software when using the sub (Which also eats up another usb port). The sub only responds to the profiles and cuts bass via the software remote. This makes the sub a useless addition to the speaker setup for profile switching and at no point has IK noted this would happen. It's clearly a software bug, as the functionality only changed when the software changed. I notified them of this bug in Dec 2025 and they said they'd let the dev team know. 7 months later as of June 2026, their best answer is "The hardware remote was not designed for use in the Stereo + Sub layout. The team suggests using the software remote in this case." Sounds almost reasonable as the "Stereo" layout profile still kind of responds 2-way with the remote in ARCX, except a few problems with the logic: 1. The hardware remote 2-way functions existed long before the Stereo + Sub layout and the software syncs via the usbs, which means IK could have easily ported the same functionality to the newer software layout while planning the iLoud Sub's release. It's not milled aluminum, it's software. UPDATE IT. They either don't want to, or the current "team" doesn't know how to (More likely, as the free X-Monitor software had functionality in V1.0.0 that ARCX still does not have in V2.0.2! I'd bet money IK fired the previous developer for a cheaper team.) 2. ARCX dumps your entire layout every time you close it. That means to use the software remote, you have to: 1. Open ARCX 2. Select the correct speaker (via serial and blinking light) and sub in the layout section 3. Click on the remote tab 4. Use the software remote This is a deeply ridiculous expectation when you've already charged people $99 to be able to do this with a button press on $2,000 speakers. They know it, they just don't care. If this is the level of customer support they think you should accept on their MOST EXPENSIVE FLAGSHIP PRODUCTS, imagine how much less support they'll give you on any of their other products.

To slow to react to an issue

I honestly found the response time regarding my problem quite slow. The solution IK Multimedia finally found was one I had already tried myself without success. Go figure. Of course, the important thing is that everything is working now. And perhaps a bit more friendliness in their interactions would be appreciated. I've dealt with other audio companies in the past when I had problems, and their responses and solutions were much faster. Hence my 3-star rating.

Ripped off. Paid for Tone Models but not received any

Having bought the Bass Signature collection of tone models. I registered the product no problem. But i have had no models in my downloads library. I have jumped through hoops sending screenshots and videos of my actions as requested by customer service reps, but still i haven't received what i paid for. I am now not even getting replies. It appears Ihave been blocked. This is not acceptable.

Great Customer Service.

I have an older generation IKlip tablet holder. I accidently broke one of the plastic bolts (I dropped it myself, no defect in the product). Shawn at iKlip was able to help me get a replacement bolt, eventhough the model I have is discontinued. The service with iKlip has always been exceptional.

Pedal & customer support are excellent

I bought a used Tonex and it didn't come with the serial number to register the pedal but customer support helped me pretty quick getting it. Now with access to the software this pedal is the bees knees. I use a 100w Peavey Valveking and with this bypassing my preamp I can make it sound like any amp that uses 6L6 power tubes like my Valveking. I've had a 5150 before and with the 5150 capture on the Tonex it's made my amp sound exactly like one. No need to buy expensive amps when you can just use the Tonex to get different amp tones. Definitely recommend.

My product's serial number was lost…

My product's serial number was lost somewhere along the delivery process. The dealer was irresponsive, so I could not expect any help from them. Fortunately, the support team was quick to reach out and provide me with a proper instruction after an initial request. After a quick collection of the information needed to proceed I submitted the email and waited. In two days I received the email from the support with my product's ID within. It was a quick and effortless process for me, and quite a professional and precise approach from the support team. The communication along was always clear and consistent. Thank you guys in the Customer Support team, you make the company's products complete, making it a perfect user experience overall. This revies is based completely on a genuine experience.

Really great customer service

Really great customer service. Even though I bought my Arc Studios' second hand and didn't have any registration numbers they went out of there way to help with what I thought were faults, even offering to repair the devices for free and helped me to use my Arc X software. I resolved the problem (caused by myself) in the end though. Thank you so much Ikmultimedia and your brilliant technical help !
