No towels or toiletries in room. Office called us about our dogs barking but did nothing over other dogs barking in the rooms next to ours. Never received security deposit back.

Pricey for what you get
I'm normally not overly critical of Motel 6 establishments due to their simplicity and low cost. But in this case, the cost did not justify the simplicity. The price was high and rooms were very, very small. But in their defense, all the hotels in the Richmond, VA area were about that price ... but for a little bit more in price, I could have gotten a lot more hotel. I'll probably look elsewhere on my next trips to Richmond, VA.

Not a good experience...
The motel6 stay in Hattiesburg Mississippi was a terrible experience. Somewhere along the way - there's no accountability from the chain to the property owners for quality of basic sanitation in a room and environment of the motel. I think the owners just don't care. Here's my review that I gave on Google: "I really, and unfortunately, feel like this place should be bulldozed. There were grease marks staining the door and wall from where a dog likely stayed for years. Tub had mud in it, and the floor in front of the toilet doesn't look like it's been mopped in the last month. Broken lamp shade... Then there's what looks like a snot-rocket on the wall... I no longer am enamored with the budget Motel6 chain."

The room was clean had just been remolded,beds were soft and good pillows, wonderful staff as always ( we've stayed there twice in two weeks). We did have some noisy neighbors but the motel itself is wonderful for the price 😄

Friendly employees
Everyone at the front desk has always been friendly when I've checked in. The rooms haven't always been the cleanest and sometimes things didn't work (the bathroom light/fan) or were missing (shower curtain). Sometimes customer service is lacking when there's a problem.

Very dirty, Felt Unsafe
Very dirty, smell of cigarettes and urine, hair on the bed sheets, room not clean. Felt unsafe as some odd people and homeless in the area.

Find lodging elsewhere. This place isn’t worth the price. Rooms smell terrible musky mildew. Long term guests always smoking at the front entrance gossiping smoke goes into your window if you want “fresh air”. Rooms were dirty. Roaches in the bathroom. The staff wasn’t very pleasant. Towels had stains and nasty stuff hair all over the room. Tv didn’t have any options unless you brought your own devices. Paper thin walls. No breakfast option there. Several other places with comparable prices in the area. Not worth it here.
