For what it's worth

For what it's worth, Wordpress does very well for setting up websites. It has an easy to use interface with smooth navigation. The one thing that could use some improvement is providing solutions and plugins for free users. Not everyone has deep pockets. Other than that, it's very good overall.

The customer service and tech support…

The customer service and tech support team was great and very hands-on when we had to move our website from GoDaddy to WordPress direct. It was an easy experience, and they were extremely helpful!

DO NOT TRUST IN WORDPRESS

I had been a customer of IONOS for over ten years. In the last few years, IONOS has been using WordPress for website development. I trust IONOS, so I started using WordPress. Though I encountered some difficulties, IONOS's support helped me. My nightmare started when I published my blog. Foreign organizations and hackers had used it to promote all kinds of websites, including pornographic ones. I have to dedicate a lot of time EVERY DAY to clean out my blog. It has happened for months now. I tried to find help without success. Even escalated the case in IONOS customer service. They say I should follow what I already tried, without success. DO NOT TRUST IN WORDPRESS as a tool in IONOS.

Working with Wordpress overall has been excellent. We had some glitches early on because I made mistakes. When we got to building the website, it was clear that the team performed well at interpreting the outcome I had worked hard to design. The WordPress Support and Onboarding staff have been responsive and high quality. I have felt central to the process and it looks like these staff are available to me when I need them. As someone who know what I want to see from tech stuff like a website but have no knowledge of how to get there, WordPress has been an excellent service to use. Thank you GJ

Saves valuable time

Now that I got help to put my blog site back the way it was before WP removed the classic editor, and I have the classic editor to use, it is working fine. Saves so much valuable time.

Far and away the best support I've had in 23 years of blogging

I've been running the Outside The Beltway blog since January 2003. The site has over 50,000 posts and 1.5 million comments. After using various hosting companies, including dedicated servers, for all that time, I finally moved to WordPress because the site hosts simply couldn't handle a website that large and we were experiencing constant lags and downtime. Moving to WordPress solved that instantly, even though we are on a theme built in 2018 that's not compatible with more recent WordPress builds. But we got so much more than that in WordPress support. Zohair Yousafi has guided us through the onboarding and the building of a new theme. I've been on multiple video calls with him and he's been incredibly patient and helpful. Even though I've been using WordPress for close to two decades (I ran the site on Blogger for a few months and Movable Type for a couple of years), it was mostly from the post editing and plugin installation and maintenance side. He helped us select an existing Automattic theme (Spiel) and make rather extensive modifications. We're now at the stage of porting the development theme with the existing site. We're confident Zohair and the rest of the WordPress team will make it as smooth as possible.

WordPress support second to none.

I was having problems designing my website, I wasn't finding it easy to navigate, but with the support of WordPress, I now have a terrific site, up and running. Their consultant Zohair walked me through it over several sessions and was endlessly patient and helpful. With his support, I now feel confident about designing and altering my site when necessary. The support offered by WordPress is excellent. They are readily available, knowledgeable and super encouraging. They have been a delight to work with.

Express Website Design Service

I took the Express Website option (there was a free offer with only a few extra pages to pay extra for) and was very pleased. The design was excellent; I know WordPress sites work like a charm! This isn't my first website—I have experience with website builders, and the difference is colossal. I recommend the WordPress team to anyone who loves the sound of cha-ching!

It could be better. The free plan is a bit limited, it wouldn't let me choose lots of stuff, but overall OK

I signed up for the business plan the Wordpress has to offer. I was designing my site on my own for my new business and I was getting frustrated after about 3 days. Almost as if they knew somehow that I needed help they reached out and ask if I needed help. Per the business plan you have free access to their design team up to 5 pages! I added one more page for only $69, I highly recommend if you need something fast, easy and presentable. They took my ideas and feedbacl and nailed it!

Incredible service: immediate, kind, and free

I have never had such an amazing support experience before! The team of WordPress is incredibly kind. I had a problem with my website that was blocking my progress, and they were fully committed to helping me with everything I requested, solving it very quickly. Getting this level of high-quality, completely personalized support for free is just incredible. You can tell the staff takes their job very seriously. Thank you so much for this excellent service!

My support agent did an amazing job

My support agent did a wonderful job helping me identify problems and duplicating a site that I wrongly had staged on a different site. Still some things to work out; but i'm in a way better place. Thanks a lot and shout out to him or her!

Overhyped/0-value, not-straight-forward, difficult to use

[Receipt ID 117370189] [Transaction ID 8SJ9092325789411E] Look forward to mostly terribly-confusing AI assistance that really doesn’t result in much but LARGE amounts of zero-yield wasted time. I was trying to migrate my YouTube channel to my own domain but I eventually gave up - - virtually impossible. One Agent even told me if I upgraded to "Business" (hosting I guess[?]), that they would custom design my website to my specifications. I hadn't heard anything back in at least 3 days from this "Web designer". Finally a 3rd party person contacted me after supposedly designing a "prototype" site that I would approve, but instead (he had done nothing) he told me I'd need to upgrade to whatever Tier is above business and I'd need to make a much bigger investment. I immedately cancelled the upgrade and decided to try and do it myself. I found the whole thing to be just a huge disappointment. I've just decided to keep my YouTube channel like it is and not migrate it. Should this be this difficult? Hmm, not too sure.

Excellent customer service!

I had a number of questions and Ashleigh was great to work with! Not only did she answer all my questions thoroughly, she checked on a few extra things that turned out to be very helpful, as well. I originally contacted Wordpress.com customer support to cancel one of my services and after my interaction with Ashleigh, decided to leave my business with Wordpress.com. Thanks for the great customer service.

Ashleigh was exceptional

Ashleigh was exceptional , very helpful and quick to teach me different aspects of the website editing process that I had been struggling with. I am new to this and she made me feel ok about me experience level. Ashleigh also gave me links to further assist and educate me to work independantly on my sites.I have booked another session for next week as this is helping
