The experience could not have been any easier! They give you a super simple form to fill out where you tell them font preferences, colors and pages you would like to have along with any copy you want in the bio or descriptions. They also suggest pages to add that would complement the build. That was so handy because I ended up adding 2 that I hadn't even thought about but actuallu really needed. I would definitely recommend using the WP team to help get your site up and going!

When I first started building my website, this platform was a huge help for me. After adding the Business Plan, I was able to get five free webpages included, which was really useful for someone just starting out like me. Another thing I really appreciated was that they helped me with one free modification to the website. I think this kind of support is excellent for beginners and makes the whole process much easier and less stressful. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend it to people who are starting their own website journey.

I read the advert, which said that it was a simple matter to drag and drop things into place to build your website. However, the reality is very different. The building system is overly complicated for the beginner, and I was left emailing the help centre more and more for advice. As a complete novice to website building I was left baffled and confused by all of the complicated ways that you needed to take to achieve the end result. After sticking with it for a while I eventually gave up as I became ever more frustrated and disheartened with the whole complicated process. It is alright for the 'experts' to say that the process is simple and easy, but to someone who has never done this before, it all seems so complicated. All that I wanted was a simple blog site :) It is a shame, as I think thaqt the end result would have been okay. The staff were always helpful and understanding, and even agreed that some of the stages were overly complicated. Moral is, never rely solely on what the advert tells you.

Over-complicated and confusing. I have not been able to progress my website as it is so difficult to navigate and feel as if I have wasted my money. Cancelling my subscription was problematic in itself. Nothing does what it claims to do. Avoid unless you are a professional web designer with a wealth of experience.

I built my first website on WordPress, with help from Claude and Gemini as my coaches. But there were several challenges that I couldn't overcome with AI's help. I scheduled an orientation call with Zohair and he was fantastic. He was extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He helped me quickly resolve the issues I was having and provided two comprehensive follow-up emails with additional details. Overall, Zohair provided me outstanding customer service!

Words cannot describe how incredibly positive my customer service experience was today, when I used the support chat function whilst creating my website. My support assistant went above and beyond what I expected. He explained every step of the process with exceptional clarity and patience, even taking the time to directly guide me visually through elements via screen-share. Afterwards, he thoughtfully compiled a detailed and engaging summary/ help sheet, with embedded links throughout, which made everything even easier to go through and revisit. What stood out was not only his knowledge, but ability to break down larger, more complex topics into clear, well-structured explanations that felt approachable and easy to understand. He was professional, friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt confident throughout the entire process. I also wanted to specifically mention that he was able to assist me fluently in English, Polish, and Spanish - coincidentally the three languages I speak. That level of communication skill made the experience even more seamless and impressive. I could not be happier or more grateful for the service I received today, specifically from this assistant, and it reflects incredibly well on the company.

Surprised and disgusted by their free account behaviour. They say they will let you have a free domain for the first year and let you write your own site domain. You then choose a free option and try and progess. They then say it's free and have to accept wordpress.com as free so they offer you a domain but the previous domain becomes part of the site address eg abc.com becomes abccom.wordpress.com which is absurd. I tried going back and ended up being given a default name with 10 numbers in it which if I want to change it now I have to pay. If I delete my account to start again I have to wait 30 days. Disgusting victimisation of possible new customers.

Wow, this was above and beyond what I hoped for. I am starting a blog and photo site and chose Wordpress. It was dormant for months because I didn't have the time or the know-how to properly work with the formatting. When I asked for help, I got an immediate and thoughtful response from Dallas. Dallas suggested I have an onboarding call with an associate named Nick. There was no charge for the session, but I feel like I got a million (or a billion, with inflation) dollars worth of help: clear, encouraging, specific help, accompanied with useful links and a thorough demonstration of some of the options. Dallas and Nick's positive and helpful responses have had a great affect on my energy--instead of feeling remorseful and mildly annoyed, I feel enthusiastic, filled with ideas, delighted with the creative choices available, and more confident.
