I purchased a box of two wefts through my stylist. This is the second box I've purchased. The first box lasted two years, one weft per year and it took color and toner perfectly. This last box was purchased in February of this year...it's only October and I am so unhappy with them. The color has gotten brass and toner does not work on it. The hair is thinny so quickly, i have to wear TWO wefts, which I only usually need one. Paying this much money for hair that doesn't even last six months is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! My stylist is no longer using bellami. But now I have to pay another arm and leg for another box from another company just six months after my last purchased. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
I ordered 2 Silk Seam Hair Extensions from Bellami. I tried to cancel one but they wouldn't let me cancel it.....plus charged me $40 for shipping protection which I didn't want. All together I was charged $1,500. So I get the Bellami's and for the first 2 weeks they were amazing but after that they started looking fizzy and unmanageable. I tried extension spray but it didn't help. I ordered Bellami's Hair Defense which did nothing for the hair. The Bellami hair extensions are awful and their hair products are over priced and don't work. Stay away and save some money. There are good hair extensions out there but Bellami definitely is NOT worth it.

I bought a pack of their 22inch jet black bogatti set which I believe was the 340grams on the Bellami website. I bought the hair on a sale that lasted a couple of days and bought 2 day expedited shipping. In total I paid around 400 dollars. I have bought hair from them in the past (same style and color not on a sale) and have had no issues other than shipping times/delayed shipping.
Processing time typically if ordered before 1pm they would ship out same day. I made my order that morning….. so it should be shipped out same day…. Right???
Three days later I contacted bellami since I have not received a tracking number and to get an update on my order. Come to find out they have not even processed my order and on top of the said they are completely out of stock of the hair I purchased that was in stock on their website and told me that it takes them about a month to restock that particular type of hair.
They proceeded to give me two options for THIER inconvenience that I had to contact them for🙄.
1.They can issue a refund
2.They can provide hair at the same price point that I paid for my hair that I got on a sale
I told them I purchased the hair on a sale and would like to know what other options at which I can purchase other hair at the 22inch length and their response was. Well for the price that you bought the other extensions we would not be able to provide any other extensions in the 22in because they require a bigger payment and they instead said they would refund me.
It’s been 6 days and still have not received my refund.
Mind you two days after contacting them about me order they became back in stock in the style and length I wanted……. Terrible customer service. Never purchasing hair again from here.

The worst quality, I have naturally straight silky hair, got some keratin tip extensions for volume purposes, bought from this brand expecting them to live up to the so called “luxury” and well when I shower.. they’re extremely rough and puffy. It looks like hair has been overly processed and that’s because it’s Dark brown. I’m extremely disappointed and sad I spent over 800 dls for poor cheap looking hair. Bellami you are a FRAUD.
Beware!!!! Not the same quality. I’ve worn their product for years and loved them. However, the most recent purchase was not the same quality. My extensions turned orange after several weeks of being installed. My routine has not changed.I reached out to them and it has been a very difficult process as my stylist ordered them. My stylist contacted the company and provided pictures of the orange extensions. My stylist received a credit of $175 which does not cover half the cost. I do not recommend Bellami.
I just got my itip hair extensions from my private hair specialist Claudia. I ordered 6 boxes of SUPPOSEDLY #6 and when we opened them —-they OBVIOUSLY were NO number 6. They were more like #8. Screwed up my whole day. We had to color them. It took so much longer. I think they should be ashamed of themselves. Claudia is going to leave a review on the site because she’s the one that took the pictures for me. Bellamy needs to learn what a number six really is because they called those extensions a chestnut brown, and they were nothing close to a chestnut brown. What kind of company like this doesn’t even know what a number six is? People don’t waste your money if you’ve got like a wedding coming up or some special event and you need to order some hair extensions make very sure that you’ve already ordered from this company before I had to pay extra money to have them colored, it cost me more money out of pocket because of Bellamy. They should just be ashamed of themselves.
Such a big decline in quality. It certainly isn’t what it was. I used Bellami for years and although quite expensive I thought it was worth it. I won’t ever use them again. I wish I could add pictures. A waste of $1600. I had to get them taken out. Just garbage.
Had taken a day trip to their NYC 14th st salon for a color match. Terrible experience because I was sold a used hair set. I only realized once I got back to NJ and opened the bag they had put the extensions in. The manager was awful, and I had to get my lawyer involved. Only then did they agree to accept the return and issue a return label. I wrote corporate, who never responded. Once refunded, I purchased a set online. I was confused on why people love this hair. It was sparse and thin, mattes and tangles easily despite being deep conditioned and properly cared for. Embarrassing when wearing throughout the day and ending up with a knot in the back of my head! I’ve tried so many hair extensions companies recently, and across the board I can say- quality is not a priority for them, Bellami included.
My stylist ordered my extensions and put them in Mid May. Two months later they were very discolored and poor quality. I had my last ones for last ones for 9 months. Quality has drastically changed and the reviews on returns are horrible.

Wish I'd read these reviews before buying these extensions. Paid alot more than I normally would for hair extensions, but I tell you, I've purchased better off Shein and Temu!
First of all, they took over a month to get to me, with multiple hold ups at customs both overseas and in my country (New Zealand).
In the meantime, I had a chance to read these reviews, and hope against hope that my $500+ investment would be the exception, rather than the rule.

They look good on first inspection. Then 1-2 hours after the first wear, they're already frizzy, matted, and tangling. No amount of conditioner, hair oil or detangling spray can help these. The hair is full of strands of varying thickness - some grey and wispy, some fat and springy like metal wire. The hair is obviously from hundreds of different donors - not a single source - and the cuticles don't align, so they will always matt and tangle immediately.
It also occurred to me that it might be HORSE HAIR? After all, there is no regulation within the hair extension industry, so who would know?
Anyway, I strongly warn against buying these, unless you just want to wear them for one day or a special occasion. Or save your money and buy at Shein 😁
do not buy from Bellami I just received my hair extensions like a week and a half ago emailed them. I received platinum blonde hair extensions. They’ve been over processed when I went to clean them . They were like spaghetti and I can’t brush them because all the hair is coming out and it’s all stretchy and gooey and they will not return them or give me my money back. $355. I paid for nothing and now I have no hair Beware of this company do not purchase from this company.
I have loved Bellami for years now but the quality has drastically changed! Whatever yall changed, change it back! Also with your balayage they need to be reconfigured…I bought the ask blonde/ash brown and the blonde is only a third of the extension! A balayage does NOT come down that far! These extensions are too expensive for this kind of quality! I would love to include a pic but I don’t see and option for that! (Of course)

dry, dull looking and as soon as I got it wet it smelled like it had been burnt from a flat iron. Smelled awful! The quality of the hair has changed and its junk. I followed all directions like I have in the past and the hair now feels synthetic, smells and looks dried out. Also I ordered the wave k tips and the wave in the hair was gone after one washing. Never again!
I have 18 inche covent and mane extensions— love them. However, some days I do like to have fuller/longer hair. I have been purchasing Bellami hair since 2013 and I am not for sure what has happened, but holy matted hair balls what is going on? I purchased 22 inch seamless to wear for a wedding. The matted rats nest that came with these is insane! My covent and mane extensions perfect.
They became so matted after an hour of wear that when i went to brush them, it almost took my head off. The quality of this brand is so bad now. Truly, Amazon from china at 10xs less the price is the same— go there. Do not spend $400 plus (including tariffs— which lets us know they are buying the hair from china anyways).
I do not see how they can continue to sell this bad of quality of hair and a- not change directions and go back to their original manufacture etc or b- go out of business.

The new ponytail just doesn’t work . I had to change it myself to the old method . The silver hooks are impossible to work with and get them out without ripping your own hair out is impossible too. Just one long pin is not enough to keep the pony in place and flat , there is a reason the old method and all the other ponytails have a clip with 5 teeth on them . And for 400$ after Tariff Surcharge you would think there would be more hair too .
I purchased hair extensions from Bellami after carefully selecting a shade based on the photos and color descriptions provided on their website. Unfortunately, what I received looked nothing like what was advertised. The color was drastically different — not even close to what was shown online. I purchased during a Black Friday sale in November and was expecting to use them this month, I planned to change my hair color for a big wedding in Greece. I understand they don’t accept returns after 30 days but the color quality was awful. The bottom 3 inches of the hair was a bright blonde while the top area was dark. I will not be able to blend these with any color. I reached out to their customer service, they offered me a mere 15% discount, which felt more like a brush-off than a real solution.

If the colors aren’t true to the photos, it’s misleading — plain and simple. Don’t know what happened with their hair. I doubt it’s even real hair. It’s matted all the time!! No matter what I do… if I brush it, it’s matted again after 10 minutes..
