Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many consumers experienced severe issues with their hotel bookings, frequently arriving at travel destinations only to discover that no valid reservation existed under their name. Customers also reported extremely poor communication, noting that support teams consistently failed to answer emails or resolve urgent payment and refund concerns.
Some reviewers were happy with their overall experience, pointing out that the initial booking process was fast and prices were significantly lower than competitor sites. However, a small portion of people felt anxious because receiving final confirmation numbers took much longer than expected.

Hello Tariq,
Your booking was fully confirmed, and we provided you with the hotel confirmation number. Our team also directly verified with Laura at the front desk that your reservation was active and available for you.
We received your request to cancel, but unfortunately, as the check-in date had already started, the booking was subject to a 100% cancellation fee per the non-refundable terms agreed upon during booking.

The Billabook Team
Never ever will I book with billabook!
I‘ve booked a trip to mallorca from 18 to 20 April. The reservation was done for a mini suite. When I arrived Iberostar informed me that the reservation was for a regular double room with wellness voucher. Wtf…
Calling billabook is not possible, you will be routed to a machine with a dead end.
Billabook informed me that they had a booking issue on their homepage.. (of course)…
The page clearly stated the mini suite, not a double room. Also all the pictures were for a mini suite…
I can‘t recommend nor will I ever book via this page.!!!

Hello Marco,
We would like to clarify that the room category provided by the hotel matched the exact supplier description and terms detailed on your booking confirmation. To maintain full transparency, we always display the precise room designation provided by our supplier directly in the booking details and at checkout.
Following your inquiry regarding the room description, our team immediately responded and offered a 10% partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. Our support team remains available via email to assist you with any further inquiries.

The Billabook Team
I have to admit that the original mistake was mine: I accidentally made a non-refundable booking for the wrong travel dates. However, I noticed the issue immediately and contacted the company within minutes of receiving the confirmation to ask whether anything could be done.
I was referred to the cancellation policy, which is of course fair, although not particularly helpful in this situation.
What disappointed me far more was the complete lack of follow-up customer care afterwards. After one additional interaction, in which I was asked to confirm the correct dates, communication simply stopped. That was about two weeks ago, despite several polite follow-up emails asking for a status update.
I fully understand that non-refundable conditions may limit what can be done. However, from a minimal level of customer care, I would expect at least some effort to remedy the situation and/or some explanation as to why nothing can be done despite having looked into it. A good level of customer care and retention would even involve some degree of goodwill on their end.
Well, it is what it is, but I am quite disappointed, to say the least, and will avoid this company for future bookings.
Update: After their reaction below they also reached or to me and I was getting my hopes up to get some reaction, feedback or sign they put in some effort to do something for me. I sent about 3-4 emails to then and never got an answer. Meanwhile, I cancelled without having much hope. About 3 weeks after that, I finally got their answer that a waiver was declined. While this is fair enough as such, the whole story and process before was almost unbearable.

Hello Matthias,
As you noted, the initial booking error was made on your end by reserving a non-refundable stay for August instead of May.
Please understand that under non-refundable terms, dates cannot be simply swapped or transferred—especially since the rates for your requested dates in May were significantly more expensive than the August booking.
As our team outlined, the standard procedure requires the original booking to be officially canceled first. Only then can we submit a waiver request to the hotel to see if any fees can be waived, though this is not guaranteed.

The Billabook Team

The worst holiday booking company you can think of ! Do not waste your time. They scammed us of our booking. We turned up to our hotel in Crete with them saying there was no reservation under our name. If it wasn’t for the hotel securing us a room for the night , we would have been stranded as it was 1 am in the morning and no clue of whether there was availability in the area. We did a charge back and they proceeded to take the money back which is insane. Our bank is now involved and it’s almost taken a year to get our money back and counting !

DO NOT....AND I REPEAT TO DO NOT BOOK WITH BILLABOOK
On April 11, 2026, I booked a hotel room for April 18th to April 19th, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland.
My sister and I arrived at the hotel to check in but we were informed that the room had been canceled. However, we were not notified of this cancellation via email. I attempted to contact the hotel using the provided contact number online, but only received a robotic voicemail. No one contacted me to apologize for the inconvenience. I've sent an email concerning my refund and no one reached out. I strongly advise against using this contact number, as it is likely a scam.
I believe that this business is fraudulent and that I am entitled to a full refund. I will not recommend “BILLABOOKS.com” to anyone due to the deceptive practices employed by the company.
Priceline is the way to and much more trustworthy!!!!!

Dear Nina,
Thank you for reaching out, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Once this case was brought to our attention, we immediately contacted the hotel to investigate the matter and ensure it was resolved. Following our review, a full refund was approved and processed accordingly.
If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Billabook (aka Bilabook) scammed me. They did not make the reservation I paid them to make. The hotel had no reservation from them for me, and never heard of them. Billabook used it's "no refunds or cancellation" policy to justify not refunding my money. However, US law says that if a vendor does not deliver the product or service they received payment for, their "no refund policy" does not apply, the contract was breached and the money must be refunded. Yes I used Mastercard. No, Mastercard did not refund my money.

We have reviewed this matter and could not identify any confirmed booking associated with this review.
Bookings are only completed once confirmed by the hotel or supplier. If a booking is not confirmed or not recognized at the hotel at the time of arrival, it is treated as a booking failure and any payment is fully refunded. In such cases, the cancellation policy does not apply.
We encourage the reviewer to contact our support team so we can investigate the specific case.
Unreliable, no any confirmation, no reservation number after payment
I made a hotel reservation in Marbella on April 17. The money was charged immediately, BUT there has been no confirmation email with a reservation number or any other feedback. There is no information available to track the booking.
Check-in is planned for April 18. We are traveling as a family with a child, and right now we are essentially in a situation where we may end up without a hotel despite having paid for it.
There is no support phone number, only an email.
Avoid! Trust only official websites.

We were unable to identify any booking associated with the details provided in this review.
If a transaction is still in a pending state, it is typically an authorization hold that is automatically released if the booking is not completed. In such cases, no charge is actually processed.
We take this matter seriously and would appreciate if the reviewer could contact our support team directly with the booking details so we can investigate and assist further.
I just made a booking in Boston. Charged my card. No email confirmation nor any info on their website. My bank has filed a police complaint. If they don’t refund the money, action will be taken. Please don’t use this scam site

Dear Jagannath,
Thank you for your feedback.
We have reviewed the case and can confirm that the booking was not completed successfully, and no confirmed reservation was created.
In such cases, an authorization hold may be placed on the card at the time of booking, which is not a final charge and is automatically released if the booking is not confirmed.
If you need any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Booked a specific hotel because the booking stated free cancellations until April 29 on several pages during the booking process. Kept screenshots of every page. As soon as I'd paid, it said that cancellations after April 14th were $30 and not possible after April 29th. Emailed to complain immediately (evening April 10th) as no phone number available anywhere. Received response April 11th with the confirmation of my booking again, no follow up. Replied with demand to have originally stated cancellation date honoured, have not heard since (April 13th); cancelled reservation and flagged to my credit card company. Wish I'd read the reviews here first!
I just recently booked the airport holiday inn Santiago , and became suspicious when I did not receive an email confirmation , I asked many times and the system said it sent one and nothing , I called the hotel and they have no record of my booking … now my reservation is for next week and it could be that everything is fine but there is zero communication from this company
I am willing to change my opinion of this company if my first impression is wrong.
The reference number from them is 1904426
Perhaps I’ve been impatient and have gotten worried with all these bad reviews
In any case the website states I have 72 hours to receive a booking code from holiday inn
I will wait out that period and contact holiday inn once again and if they still don’t have a record of anything I will
Talk to my bank
I understand a small company may not be able to invest in phone reps, but if that is the case they can not ignore emails
Also the link to the phone contact does not work
They advertised a room that doesn't exist. The confirmation came through and they charged us $100 extra for a room they were advertising as full sea view. We paid $100 extra for a full sea view only for the confirmation to show a regular view that was on the website for $100 less. I have been waiting two weeks for a response from them and so far no one has gotten back to me. I would avoid using them your much better off with any other booking site that isn't trying to scam you for a fake room.
At first as I was a bit scarred reading all the negative comments, but this company delivered. I saved like 400£ on this amazing hotel in Agadir called Sofitel, we even got a free upgrade. The email reply was very fast like 12h, and I had no issues. Will book with them again for sure. I guess, just make sure everything is all booked and paid for in advance, don’t let it to last minute in case there are issues for this company to have time to adress them.
I am writing this to warn other travelers. Billabook is refusing to provide a full refund for my booking (ID: 1332652) at Bedford Hotel Brussels, even though the hotel has officially waived all fees and authorized a 100% refund due to the war. Billabook is trying to illegally keep 30% of my money and has been ignoring my emails for over a week. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I have already reported this to econsumer.gov.""WARNING: THEY HAVE DEACTIVATED THEIR EMAILS. All my emails to booking@ and support@ are bouncing. They are hiding from a legal refund for Booking 1332652. I have filed report 199716600 with econsumer.gov."CEO Amir Muallem and Billabook are ghosting customers. Refund for 1332652 is being stolen. Reported to authorities." Don’t book through this agency, if you asked them for refund they will block you, I asked for chargeback and I escalated this issue.
