Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the exceptional support staff, emphasizing their remarkable helpfulness, patience, and unwavering dedication in resolving daily business issues smoothly and professionally. Many users truly appreciate the online platform for making remote mailbox management exceptionally easy, efficient, and reliable for everyone involved.
However, some reviewers were not happy with communication channels, noting frustratingly slow response times, excessively long hold periods, and notable delays when trying to reach support agents. A few other people also felt that the initial account setup process involved unexpected hurdles, technical glitches, and complex onboarding steps.

I do not trust ipostal1 with my personal information and therefore I do not trust them with my mail either. I will explain why.
I was dismayed to see that I had to agree to have my biometrics taken by ipostal1’s online notary service, Proof. It was even more disconcerting to see I had to agree to a waiver saying I will never sue Proof, or any one associated with them, with the mishandling of my biometric data. I thought that was asking a lot.
It appears that Proof realizes; taking individual’s biometric data puts an individual at risk because that personal data may fall ( or be sold ) into the wrong hands.
I decided to go to a local notary and have the same form stamped once for $5 dollars, instead of spending $50 with Proof to do the form twice for my wife and I. However, there was no way for me to upload the notarized form. I chatted with ipostal1 and they said they require the use of the online notary (Proof) so that ipostal1 has the biometrics, but some ipostal1 locations allow in person submitting of documents.
After two days I made the call when the right person was in to answer my question. He said I can submit Form 1583 in person. However, after going in person, this individual discovered that ipostal1 had changed their interface and he was no longer able to upload my documents. Though he was sympathetic and was very nice to work with, there was nothing he could do.
This whole experience is ironic. Ipostal1 provides a service for those who want to avoid the dangers of putting personal information ‘out there’ i.e. their personal address. Then require those same people to put their biometrics ‘out there.’ And, if that people’s worst nightmare does come true, because they put their personal information, ‘out there,’ they will have little recourse in court. Proof required them to waive their right to a jury trial or to a class action lawsuit from the get go.
I wonder if a company is trustworthy that requires me to take risk with my personal data, i.e. give them biometrics.
I wonder if a company is trustworthy that requires me to waive my rights to sue them if they mishandle my personal data.
I wonder if a company is trustworthy that does not trust their employees to do the right thing with my personal data, but requires me to trust those same employees.
For the reader’s verification I have copied and pasted part of the waiver.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR TO CERTIFY A CLASS FOR ANY CLAIM OR DISPUTE RELATED TO THE PROCESSING OF BIOMETRIC DATA BY PROOF OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS.

Hi Nathan,
Thanks for your review.
Unfortunately, we are unable to identify your account from this review.
The policy described is Proof.com's policy, not ours at iPostal1. We understand your hesitation regarding your personal data. We work closely with Proof.com to ensure customer privacy and security are taken very seriously. We have had thousands of customers use Proof.com. Also note, we are SOC 2 certified, and this information can be found on our website. All locations are approved by the USPS as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) and we want to ensure you feel secure using our services.
We are sorry to hear about the experience you had at your mail center. Many locations allow you to submit the Form 1583 in person. We recently updated our dashboard for a more organized and streamlined process, so it's possible your mail center missed where to upload. We work closely with our mail center partners and would like to follow up with them to make sure they know how to upload documents correctly.
Please provide your information so our Customer Service team can follow up with you.
Sincerely,
iPostal1

Federal Contractors & Businesses Beware: Useless Bait-and-Switch That Blocks Banking and Gov Contracts
Absolute predatory bait-and-switch. I signed up for iPostal1 because they market their locations as a clean "real street address with a suite number." I needed this for federal government contracting, business banking, and official USPS registration. It is completely permitted by none of them.
Once you pay, the deception drops. Because these locations are Commercial Mail Receiving Agencies (CMRAs), you are legally forced by federal law to append "PMB" to the address. iPostal1 hides this in their marketing, but the federal government and financial institutions see right through it.
Government Contracting: SAM.gov, the DLA, and federal contracting portals strictly reject CMRA/PMB addresses for physical location requirements.
Banking Compliance: FinCEN Know Your Customer (KYC) laws and Patriot Act regulations automatically flag and block these hidden PMB formats, preventing you from opening a business bank account.
USPS Regulations: You cannot forward mail away from a CMRA via a standard USPS Change of Address form once you are trapped.
Because of this trap, I am now stuck in a loop where I cannot cancel, and my critical business mail is reverting to the address of a home I have already sold. iPostal1 takes your money under the guise of providing a professional corporate presence, but delivers a toxic, flagged address that actively derails your federal compliance and banking. If you handle government work or need a real bank account, stay far away.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for your review.
Our goal is total transparency. While we do have many customers who successfully use their iPostal1 addresses for official registration purposes, ranging from registering businesses to obtaining driver's licenses, we highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable. The regulations on things like this vary from state to state, so we cannot guarantee that you will be able to use the address for your desired purpose. This information can be found in our FAQs.
Additionally, per USPS regulations for all commercial mail receiving agencies, standard USPS Change of Address forms cannot be used to forward mail away from our locations. Because of this, we highly recommend filing a Temporary Change of Address. You can find that recommendation in our FAQs and across our website within the signup steps. To receive your mail elsewhere, you can submit a USPS 3546 Correction Form at any US Post Office. This form is only available in paper format and cannot be submitted online. You can also notify your senders directly of your new address.
You can cancel yourself by logging into your digital mailbox, and navigating to your mailbox settings either from the app or dashboard, or contacting our Customer Service team.
We have thousands of happy customers using our services. Our team will follow up with you.
Sincerely,
iPostal1
Absolute Nightmare Experience - Avoid at All Costs
Absolute Nightmare Experience - Avoid at All Costs
This company has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. It's been over a week of pure frustration, and every single day they're requesting more documents related to a notarization that was already completed through their own recommended notary company.
The Problem: They can't seem to access or locate documents that were properly submitted through their preferred notarization service. Instead of resolving their internal communication issues, they're forcing me to redundantly resubmit the same paperwork over and over again.
What's Particularly Infuriating: Used their recommended notary service as instructed, completed all notarization requirements properly, documents were successfully submitted through their system, they acknowledge the notarization exists but claim they "can't get the documents", daily requests for the same materials I've already provided multiple times.
The Reality: This appears to be a systematic failure on their end - either their document management system is broken, or there's a serious disconnect between their notary service and their processing department. Rather than fix their internal problems, they're making customers pay the price through endless document resubmissions.
Bottom Line: Save yourself the headache and find a company that has their act together. The level of disorganization and redundant requests suggests they're either incompetent or deliberately creating obstacles. Either way, your time and sanity are worth more than this nightmare process.
Hidden Fees and Misleading Information: There's absolutely no upfront disclosure that married couples only pay $5 for the second notarization. This critical cost information is buried somewhere in their system, leaving customers to discover it after the fact. Even worse, their own notary told me I had to go through the entire process again, resulting in a $50 charge when the total should have been $30. This lack of transparency feels deliberately deceptive - either their staff doesn't understand their own pricing structure, or they're intentionally withholding cost-saving information from customers. Either way, it's unacceptable business practice that costs people unnecessary money.
Confusing Process and Terrible Customer Support: When you sign up, they fail to provide clear instructions on how to complete their processes, instead directing you to contact their chat support. What follows is an infuriating runaround that wastes hours of your time. You get bounced between "Freddy AI," then shuffled to a bot, then promised a live representative who appears for mere seconds, claims they "don't see you there," and immediately disconnects. This cycle repeats endlessly, trapping you in a customer service maze designed to exhaust you into giving up. You'll spend hours going in circles with no actual resolution, just automated responses and phantom representatives who vanish the moment they connect. It's a deliberately broken system that prioritizes avoiding customer contact over providing legitimate support.
Contradictory Communications and Chaos: After enduring hours of customer service hell, you're then bombarded with conflicting emails from multiple staff members. One person claims you weren't properly notarized and the notary didn't work, while another sends completely different information saying the notarization failed for entirely different reasons. Now you're dealing with two separate people making contradictory demands, forcing you to waste even more time clarifying that you'll only communicate with one person to avoid this confusion. It's absolutely ridiculous that their internal communication is so broken that their own staff can't coordinate basic information about your account. This kind of disorganized, contradictory messaging shows a company that has no control over its own processes and leaves customers to clean up their internal mess.
Endless Repetition and Lost Documents: Finally, you're assigned one person who calls daily just to repeat the exact same information over and over. You keep sending the requested documents, but they vanish into cyberspace with no acknowledgment or progress. As a busy professional, you don't have time to babysit their broken system
Final Verdict: Save yourself the headache and find a different company that actually respects your time and has functioning systems in place. This organization's broken processes, contradictory communications, and complete inability to handle basic document processing make it clear they're not worth the stress — there are definitely better options out there that won't put you through this nightmare!

Hi DL,
Thanks for your review.
Unfortunately, we are unable to identify your account from this review.
Regarding the issues described, the USPS requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs. This is required in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf. If forms are submitted, they are reviewed and approved if in order. If you did file forms, they should have been approved so your mail could be received, or you should have been notified about what is missing or incorrect.
Our goal is total transparency. We offer substantial discounts for additional notarizations during the same session. This information is listed on our FAQs page, and details about sign up steps are listed throughout our website.
We understand there can be delays in reaching our team via chat. Due to our rapid growth, we are hiring new Customer Service representatives as fast as we can. Generally, our chat service works well and is a fast, convenient way to answer questions. We do resolve chats after a period of inactivity. We recommend staying near your device to ensure you keep your spot while waiting.
Our Customer Service team is highly professional and always tries to help. We apologize if in your case the representative did not properly address your concern.
We have thousands of happy customers using our services, and we want you to have a great experience using iPostal1. Please provide your information so our team can follow up with you.
Sincerely,
iPostal1
I am a mail center handling hundreds of mailbox customers each month. Sometimes, we have an issue with a new customer's documents (the USPS requirements are borderline onerous), and today William took the initiative to get our mutual customer compliant so that they can receive mail seamlessly.

To Whom It May Concern
Hello, I'm Clarence, I'm a IPostal 1 customer..
On June 25, 2026, I was frustrated, frustrated and stressed. Frustrated and stressed because my address changed during a late notice. I was also frustrated and stressed because I was given an address that I didn't choose. I was constantly being charged for an address that I didn't choose.
I was ready to permanently cancel my account. I had no other ideas, thoughts, or concerns. Luckily, Gerliyah B. ( liyah) did. She went above and beyond to solve my problems. She has good listening and communication skills. She never spoke over me. She asked necessary questions to solve my problems. She was patient and was very easy to talk to. She's very helpful.
I explained to her that I'm in the process of moving, picking a new address, submitting new (city & county) documentations, and still haven't completed the USPS 1583 Form. Her solution to my problems was to waive those charges cancel my package plan, and pick a new Ipostal1 plan when I'm ready.
Gerliyah went above and beyond., she delivered great customer service. If there's any advance,, promotions, or pay raises available, she deserves it. Thank You Liyah, I appreciate you,
Respectfully
Clarence

I noticed something about the AIM mail centre in Antioch which is disheartening and it has been ongoing from time to time. Sometimes, you will have to call, and/or email them several times before your mail can be scanned and that is not how it should be. The same priority that is given to people that walk into that location should also be given to people that are online (and have mailbox(es)) and are on paid monthly subscription.
I wish AIM mail centre, Antioch, has someone specifically assignment all the time to manage online requests (scanning of mails, postage of Checks, etc); to make sure any online request is attended to asap because some of these mails are time-sensitive, and some people are bed bound or house bound, etc and need their mails sorted at the earliest.
Good news!
Michael (from Ipostal) was very kind, empathetic, professional, reliable and efficient in all that he did to help me out with my concern when I had delay from AIM mail centre in Antioch in getting my mail scanned. Michael was very fast in his response and effort by contacting AIM mail centre in making sure that I got my concern settled in a timely manner. My mail was scanned eventually. Thank you so much Michael for all your help. GOD bless you!

Under Payments Canada Rule H1, I may revoke authorization for pre-authorized debits at any time.
Rule H1 expressly requires every PAD agreement to state that authorization may be revoked at any time.
Cancelling the PAD agreement does not cancel the underlying service contract or eliminate any amount legitimately owed. It merely withdraws authorization to use that payment method. The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada confirms this distinction.
I am not asking you to cancel my current contract or refund the current term. I am withdrawing authorization for any renewal payment after the present contract expires.
I spent a great deal of time on the phone with an agent who refused to follow Canadian law. My only option at this point is to file a complaint with Canadian regulators.

Hi YSB,
Thanks for your review.
You can cancel your service at any time prior to your next billing date to prevent your subscription from automatically renewing. If you want to continue using your mail service for the entire duration of your current billing cycle, please cancel right before your next renewal date.
Please note that canceling your service closes your account. To remain compliant with USPS regulations, the mail center requires an active account to receive and handle mail on your behalf.
We have thousands of happy customers using our services. Please contact our Customer Service team if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
iPostal1
The user interface is confusing. I received multiple conflicting messages about required documentation. It took three weeks to get my mailbox set up. Once I escalated to live support, the agents were helpful. Long wait times to get to talk to an actual person, however.
