I was required to change my number from…

I was required to change my number from a (585) area code to (800). That number never worked correctly. I never got a single call or text or contact. I had to pay an additional $5 to switch over. The previous number helped me with the Covid check in’s to my clinic. After the subsequent anti spam requirements, Line 2 was no longer helpful. This was very disappointing. I cancelled before my annual billing date.

Hello Elizabeth — Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that your toll‑free number isn’t performing as well as your previous local number. Here at Line2, we have never required customers to switch from a local number to a toll‑free number. If that option was suggested, it may have been because your local number did not meet the rigid FCC requirements for 10DLC approval, which are necessary for sending SMS messages to your contacts. It has now been two years since your registration was reviewed. If your business details or online presence have expanded or changed, we would be happy to work with you to resubmit your local number registration. We have a dedicated team that can quickly review your current information to confirm whether you now meet all required criteria for approval. We can also see if your original local number may still be available.

The app on my phone isn’t working properly. I can never see the numbers that somebody calls; I'm not even sure it’s actually working. I called customer service; they told me to go someplace else because I purchased it from Google or some other place. Not cool.

Hello Parachute - Thank you so much for sharing your feedback about your recent experience with our support team. After reviewing your contact history, we can see that you reached out to us on two separate occasions. Your first inquiry was related to bill pay for a subscription purchased through the app store, and our team member recommended contacting the subscription payor directly for billing assistance. Your second contact involved issues with our app, and we requested a bit more information so we could help troubleshoot. We didn’t receive a reply via email, but a member of our team will be reaching out to you by phone to provide further support. We’re always looking for ways to improve our service, and your feedback truly helps us do that.

NO CUSTOMER CARE!!!

You pay for the app and then you have to become a detective to look for help or customer service and IN MY EMAIL I said I reset the password and it STILL will not let me in. And the customer service replied: “Did you try resetting your password?” CANCEL MY ACCOUNT NOW BOT.

Hello Lala, We’re sorry to hear you continued experiencing issues when trying to log into your account. We understand how frustrating that can be, especially after your email requests did not provide the resolution you needed. You also mentioned in your last email communication that you haven’t been using the app frequently and would like to cancel your subscription. Our support team member replied with the details on how to complete the cancellation, which we’ve copied below for convenience, if you have still not cancelled your account. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store must be cancelled directly through the Apple App Store. Please find the steps below: Cancel on iPhone: Open Settings and tap your Apple ID at the top. Select Subscriptions to view all active and expired subscriptions. Tap the subscription you want to cancel (Line2) Tap Cancel Subscription, then confirm your choice. Alternatively, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, select Subscriptions, choose the subscription, and tap Cancel Subscription to confirm

Hello Harrell - We're happy to review the ticket related to your review. When you reached out via chat on July 8, 2026, we canceled your account right away and submitted a refund to your original form of payment. Your card issuer should complete the refund within 7–10 business days. There was no cancellation request prior to this date, and your request was handled promptly.

Downtime and broken applications

Downtime, poor support, phone calls don't work half the time, texting is inconsistent, the desktop and mobile apps crash regularly. No communication on how to resolve this when tickets are created, told to "reset our application" and when that doesn't get the job done the ticket is closed. We are moving off the application.

Hello Irritated User - Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We’re very sorry for the downtime, inconsistent communication, and the frustration you’ve experienced with our app and support channels. You deserved a smoother experience. We see you reached out via email for assistance. For issues like the ones you described, a one‑on‑one phone conversation is often the fastest way to diagnose and resolve the problem. On our Contact Us Form, customers have the ability to schedule a phone appointment for technical support. This will be shown in our drop-down menu. We wanted to make you aware that this option is available. Our support team should have made a stronger effort to reach out to you proactively by phone instead of simply replying to your emails, which can result in delays in utilizing the service to its fullest potential. We’d still really like the opportunity to work with you directly and address these issues properly. We’re going to reach out to you by phone and make sure you get the support you should have received from the start.

After 6 years of Line2 number for business there has been zero fixes or upgrades. Very lazy inefficient developer. Sadly the carrier alternative are weak to them. Although it may be time to switch to Verizon and get a second e-line. We have called in open customer care tickets countless and complained for many years about the failure of 1. their software drops voice mails (stops playing them)when trying to listen to your ear. After new phone all their hoops to test and suggestions for fix still fail. Extreme frustration!
