My complete and utter satisfaction is due to the Live Auctioneers staff for their high level of professionalism in addressing their clients' complex issues and for the prompt and timely responses to issues—including legal ones—that arose during a timed online auction and were also related to globalization, namely the great distance and the different foreign language between the undersigned Italian buyer and a Canadian auction house.
In my case, only the skill of the Live Auctioneers staff allowed me, beating out competition from various Italian and foreign antique dealers, to bring back to Italy after approximately 150 years and also for purely sentimental and family reasons. On a 9,100 km DHL flight from British Columbia to Canada, I brought a painting by Ettore Roesler Franz (Rome 11/5/1845 - Rome 26/3/1907), considered the greatest Italian watercolorist of all time (he was my great-grandfather's brother), to whom I feel particularly close. I wanted to give it as a gift to one of my beloved grandchildren, who now share my last name.
Thank you so much again, Live Auctioneers, because without you, it would have been absolutely impossible to see his colors just inches from me!

Gotta read this review, crazy stuff and buyers beware.
Want to share with y'all that Live shut down my account because one of their auction houses sold me a product that was falsely advertised and was misrepresented. It's a bit crazy when Live shuts my account down when I've done nothing wrong and selling auction house gets off Scott free when they sold an item to me that was falsely advertised and misrepresented, go figure.
Nothing I can do about my account being shut down but if there are other auction houses you can do business with go to another auction house. There's just no loyalty now a days that some businesses show for their customers. No hard feelings on my part, I was raised to turn the other cheek.
8-6-26 My response to Live Auctioneers...The auction house knows who I am because I sent them all types of supporting documents and pictures on the antique fan I purchased but Live Auctioneers still refused to review the docs and pics showing the fan was misrepresented and falsely advertised instead of looking over the info I sent them Live choose to ignore what I sent them and Live locked me out of bidding on their auction site. If Live was to step up to the plate and take one minute to look over the supporting info I sent them; they would realize they made a mistake on the advertising of the falsely/misrepresented antique fan I purchased.
Because of the mistreatment I received from Live after purchasing many products off their site, I must say to folks thinking of bidding on the Live Auctioneers site that be very cautious and buyers beware.

$25 to ship a $4 record and have to wait 2-3 weeks to get it.
I won an record for $4 but had to have it shipped which LiveAuctioneers takes care of (although the shipping amount wasn't known prior to the auction). The fees, shipping, etc. ended up costing $25 so I ended up paying $29 for a record I won for $4. A week after I won and paid in full, I had to email and ask for an update as I hadn't heard anything about the record. When they got my email, I got a response that it is being packaged now and should arrive in 2-3 weeks. The result is I won an auction for $4, the fees bring the cost to $29 and I have to wait almost a month to get it.

As an auction clearance center you do a great job but when it comes to shipping out items you won in an auction you bid on your shipping rates are astronomical. I won a lot of 5 knives. At the most weighing 5 lbs. You wanted $134 to ship a distance of about $300 miles. I can send ship same pkg. myself for less than $25. I would say that’s quite unfair what you are charging.
