Best service ever! I bought an eSIM for travelling to Mexico and because I like to be ahead, I bought it about a month early. The day begfore we are supposed to go to Mexico I receive a message from Maya Mobile, saying that my dataplan is running out and that I need to top up, if I need 30 more days. I quickly log on Maya Mobile and in the chat function I present my question. This is where it gets very good: Within 3 minutes I have had contact with a very kind supporter, who secured me a full refund and the same discount code that I used buying the eSIM plan at first. Quick, kind and very helpful - I have never had faster and more forthcoming service/support and I have bought the same plan again . I can only recommend Maya Mobile. Now I am looking forward to visiting Mexico and using my dataplan

Had a few issues with e SIM working and a plan I accidentally purchased thinking it was an additional e SIM required. Contacted support via what's app and I have to say there support is probably the best I've ever experienced. Not just in terms of something online but in general. They were fast at assisting me and issue the refund was fast and done without any issues. Money back in my account within 1 day. Shame not all companies could operate like this.

I purchased Maya's 6-month Latin America eSIM for a six-month trip across the continent. Unfortunately, my experience did not match the premium price. During my trip, I had to contact customer support at least six or seven times because the eSIM repeatedly stopped working when I crossed into a new country. In almost every case, it wasn't working upon arrival and required troubleshooting before I could get connected. In Bolivia, the issue was even more significant: my original eSIM never worked, and Maya had to issue me a completely new one. I do want to acknowledge that the support team was excellent. Every time I contacted them, they responded quickly and were helpful until the issue was resolved. However, the product itself was disappointing. In Argentina and Chile, the network quality was good, but in Bolivia Maya uses Tigo, which has much poorer coverage than Entel, even though local Entel SIM cards are significantly cheaper. If you stay in major cities, you'll probably be fine, but if you're traveling around the country—as many people visiting Bolivia do—you should expect to lose coverage in many areas where Entel still has service. The biggest selling point of a travel eSIM is the convenience of not having to worry about mobile data while moving between countries. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Instead, I had to troubleshoot my connection in nearly every country I visited. Overall, while the customer support deserves praise, I don't think the product justifies its price. For a long trip through Latin America, buying local SIM cards would likely provide better coverage, greater reliability, and better value for money.

Worked only in certain countries although it says in covered the countries I was in the signal was either extremely poor or didn't work at all, would never use them again for traveling especially for Vietnam worse coverage I've experienced

I really regret the experience wih Maya. Zero service. I took an unlimited plan of 14 days and after the 3rd day, it has become very slow, and 80% with no connexion at all. Only a bot that answers. Impossible to reach someone. And when you have tried all the suggestions of the chatbot, they tell you to wait for escalation. Than nothing happens. Very frustrating.

False advertising – "Unlimited" data heavily throttled immediately
I purchased an unlimited data eSIM from Maya Mobile, but the service is a complete scam. When I connect to the network, the speed initially jumps to a decent 40-50 Mbps, showing full 5G bars. However, within a couple of minutes, the system automatically triggers a heavy speed restriction, throttling my connection down to a useless 2-3 Mbps. This is a clear case of false advertising. They sell you "unlimited data," but their servers immediately pull the handbrake on your speed the moment you actually try to use it for anything serious (like streaming,cloud -gaming or downloading). 2 Mbps is barely enough for basic text messaging, let alone modern internet usage. They are hiding behind their "Unlimited" label while a third party deliberately caps your bandwidth in the background. I have already demanded a full refund. Avoid this provider if you need actual, usable internet speeds! UPDATE: I have contacted customer support regarding a refund. They informed me that my request was forwarded to the relevant team, but I have not received any response or update since then. Still waiting for a resolution.

I had a very disappointing experience with Maya Mobile. I purchased an eSIM with internet only for my trip to Kosovo. It worked perfectly for the first day, but then it suddenly stopped working completely for the rest of my trip. I contacted customer support expecting them to resolve the issue, but all I received were generic troubleshooting suggestions like restarting my phone, resetting the network settings, and other basic steps that made no difference. After that, they simply stopped responding to my messages altogether. I was relaying on it especially for using Google Maps . Because the service failed and support was unhelpful, it had a negative impact on my holiday and caused unnecessary stress. I would not recommend Maya Mobile based on my experience

Easy to install, working perfectly and excellent help when needed
Easy and quick to install. excellent and very prompt help when I needed it. I have tried other e-sims recently when I was in Fiji in January 2026 - eg widely promoted Sealy (still waiting for my refund as it did not work!) - nothing comes close to Maya e-sim! Highly recommend it!!
