What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers reported feeling trapped due to subscription practices, with charging persisting even after free trials ended or cancellations were attempted. Reviewers frequently mentioned misleading sign-up processes, where users were automatically enrolled in extra subscriptions or faced unseen terms and conditions. However, some people mentioned that assistance was available, with specific instances where customers were offered better tailored plans and received helpful service. A few other people also felt that the software itself could be excellent for creative and business work, and some even enjoyed specific programs.

What people say

Unethical company

Unethical company - I signed up and used a 12 month subscription and that was fine. But then it ended and I did not authorize that contract to renew, but they kept charging me, and when I tried to raise it with them they attempt to charge me a cancellation fee. This is a fair trading violation

Caution! SCAM!

I did signup for a Firefly plan with the ability for testing the product for 7 days. Now, I want to cancel my subscription and the payment. It's not possible - the cancel process does not work, you're catched at the end of the process where nothing happens (I did try this multiple times, deleting Cookies etc.). I'm feeling scammed. What worked for now: restrict my payment side to be disconnected to adobe.com. Feels bad man. Wasn't Adobe a technical trustful platform (once)?

Avoid Adobe

The most janky, user unfriendly platform to edit anything. It has the most awkward formatting and layout. Copy and paste doesn't work, the edit text option stopped working entirely and it changes font without you prompting it. I highly recommend avoiding Adobe and the crazy high subscription prices, definitely no where near worth the price.

Impossible to cancel

Adobe advertises everywhere that you can start a free trial and cancel at any time if you decide it's not for you. That's exactly what I did. I subscribed to the trial and cancelled it on the very same day. I even received an email confirming that my subscription had been cancelled. Two weeks later, Adobe charged my credit card anyway. Now I'm trying to contact customer support, and this is where the real nightmare begins. There is no working chat. There is no support email. There is no obvious way to speak to a human. The website is full of useless articles explaining, in theory, how easy it is to cancel subscriptions, yet in practice I was charged after cancelling and cannot even reach anyone to fix it. The only option I am offered is a U.S. phone number. I do not live in the United States, and I am certainly not going to spend even more money on an international phone call just to dispute a charge that should never have happened in the first place. So what exactly is Adobe expecting me to do now? Cancel my credit card? Block future payments? This is completely unacceptable. A company of Adobe's size should provide accessible customer support worldwide—not hide behind knowledge-base articles while customers are charged after cancelling. This experience feels deceptive, frustrating, and completely inconsistent with Adobe's own advertising about "cancel anytime" free trials. I expect Adobe to refund the unauthorized charge immediately and explain how a cancelled subscription resulted in a payment being taken from my account.

Stealing money.

I subscribed briefly to this service, but cancelled it before the first months billing would even be due as I found it not as useful as I hoped. Come to find out the subscription was never cancelled back in January and I was being billing all the way until July. They were only able to give back 29.99, even though they'd taken a total of 209.93 dollars.

Hi have been keep charge and been…

Signed up for Acrobat Pro TRIAL.. got charged for AI Assistance that I didn't sign up for

Signed up for Acrobat Pro TRIAL... cancelled well within free trial period and received a notification to this effect. HOWEVER when you sign up they also add AI Assistant for Acrobat (as part of the trial package without your knowledge) and then charge you each month for this... it is fraudent behaviour. Appalling.

Was being charged for my subscription…

Was being charged for my subscription despite cancelling it months before and having email proof of this cancellation. They took £60 out of my account with absolutely no warning. When I rang up, they were so unhelpful and said the only thing I could do was spend £90 on a cancellation fee. Absolutely ridiculous, do not use adobe!

I signed up for a free trial on the…

I signed up for a free trial on the 15th May so I could edit a PDF document that was sent to me, but it did not allow me to edit what I wanted so I cancelled it right away. On the 23rd May they took €8.25 from my account even though I had a free trial and cancelled so as far as I'm concerned that's THIEVED! So I blocked further transactions. They keep trying to steal from my account everyday with no end. I have no plan at all when I try sign in so there is nothing to cancel, so There is no way for me to end these attmped payments onmy end and there is no customer servcie availbe at all. These people are crooks and scum!

When Adobe works everything is good but…

When Adobe works everything is good but GOOD LUCK when you need support. The representatives they employ work from India, difficult to understand their accent. I have been needing support for an Adobe issue for over 4 weeks. I had a scheduled call with a rep at a specific time and specific day....he called different day different time during my work. THEN when you try and call back go through their LONG automated system to get the SAME rep so you don't have to keep explaining the SAME problem..they tell you "we can't connect you with that same person." Absolutely horrible tech support no consistency, poor follow up and inexperienced techs who cannot resolve problems with their own product.

expensive and doesn't work

Purchased a very expensive lifetime activation code for a whole suite of Adobe products right before Adobe switched to subscription based. The past few years there have been all kinds of issues getting the software to run on my computer. It was great when it did run, but that was rarely. I kept having to contact support, who kept trying to push me into a subscription service. I asked if I could get credit (or at least some kind of prorated credit) for the money I had already spent on the lifetime license. The answer was always "no". It's not my fault I was smart enough to buy the lifetime license before you switched over. And I have no guarantee that even after I threw more money at the problem your software would suddenly work. Now, after grudgingly sort of letting me use the software I paid for, they are flat out refusing to let me open the program at all without purchasing their dumb, ridiculously expensive subscription. I want a refund. This was expensive software and I barely got to use it.

If I could give 0 stars I would.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely abysmal customer service, there is literally no real human to talk to and none of their email addresses work. I was auto-renewed into a yearly contract after trying to cancel, I had a cancellation fee of over £100?! And then when I finally got through to a live agent using their chat box, they cancelled my subscription. And then Adobe tried to charge my card £32.99 the very next day, even AFTER cancelling the subscription. There is something very unlawful happening at Adobe. No wonder they had a multi-million dollar law suit against them. Avoid like the plague and use Canva instead.
