What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers reported feeling trapped due to subscription practices, with charging persisting even after free trials ended or cancellations were attempted. Reviewers frequently mentioned misleading sign-up processes, where users were automatically enrolled in extra subscriptions or faced unseen terms and conditions. However, some people mentioned that assistance was available, with specific instances where customers were offered better tailored plans and received helpful service. A few other people also felt that the software itself could be excellent for creative and business work, and some even enjoyed specific programs.

What people say

Thieves and crooks

Thieves and crooks. They offer a sub-par editing software which cannot be used unless you pay over $30 a month. They do offer a free trial period, which is good, but it doesn't matter if you cancel because you will still get charged a monthly fee. It's been three months and I have to cancel my bank card because it is easier than canceling the impossible to cancel the "membership".

the same questions repeatedly

I've been transferred between multiple agents, asked the same questions repeatedly, and given the same instructions over and over, even after explaining that I had already followed them. Despite receiving a case ID, no one has investigated why the Delete account option is missing from my account. I was expecting someone to review my case instead of repeating the same troubleshooting steps. Unfortunately, this issue remains unresolved, and I don't feel that my concerns have been properly addressed.

Trash product and growing exceedingly…

Trash product and growing exceedingly worse. Just when you think it cannot get any slower or have any more pop ups...boom, it does. I do not even care about subscribing as much as I care about a functional product. Using adobe feels like using dial up internet (you know you can here it). Its a clunky mess of a program now. I do not want reader, ai, scanning, etc. options every time i use adobe. Every single time I open something it does all the above. I have turned most off but does not fix anything. A "simple task" like opening to view a document turns into a 3 min ordeal of waiting for 8 different prompts like: you want me to scan? read? wipe your ass? Huh, no I just want to view the damn document...

I wish you could do more to report this…

I wish you could do more to report this company, please RECORD AND SCREENSHOT EVERY CONTRACT OR FINE PRINT PLAN YOU SIGN UP FOR. It has no shame in acting as if it is a scam and charges you to cancel subscriptions. I have never been tricked by the fine print in other plans before in my life. This company has on a number of times mis-charged my card as well which was a separate and older issue; charging me over $70 a month at one point when I hadn’t enrolled in a subscription, I simply purchased something. It is unfortunate as you often need to use the things they provide but the way they charge accounts and explains payment plans are incredibly sketchy. Exploitive yucky company.

When I opened my Adobe account they…

When I opened my Adobe account they created a second one without my knowledge, such that when I canceled my account they could keep charging me under the other. They have been charging me for four months. Update: I just read other reviews. Seems many many other people have had the same problem where Adobe tacked on this AI Assistant without mentioning it so they could keep charging after you cancel. It’s mass theft. Any class action attorneys out there reading this by any chance?

Adobe Stock Contributor

Reliable Platform with Transparent Policies Adobe Stock has been one of the most reliable stock agencies I've worked with. Their pricing is transparent, the review process is generally fair and consistent, and while it's not perfect, it's much better than many other platforms. You usually have a good understanding of why content is accepted or rejected. Sales are solid, and the commission structure is fair by today's industry standards. The platform is professional, contributor-friendly, and payments have always been reliable in my experience. The only thing I miss is the contributor benefits they used to offer, such as access to Adobe products with lower download requirements. I understand that the company is free to change its programs and business model, but it was a valuable perk that many contributors appreciated. Overall, Adobe Stock remains one of the best places to sell stock content, and I would recommend it to both new and experienced contributors.

Marketing means caring for the customer. Adobe does the exact opposite.

I've spent years trying to cancel my Photography Plan, and every time I hit the same wall: a €54.89 early-termination fee that was never clearly explained to me when I signed up. The "monthly" price is shown nice and big; the annual commitment and the 50% penalty are buried in the fine print. And to top it off, there isn't even a basic customer-service email just a chatbot maze designed to make you give up. And this isn't just my bad luck. In March 2026, Adobe paid $150 million to settle a lawsuit by the U.S. Department of Justice and the FTC over exactly this: hiding the fee and making cancellation hard. A pattern, not an accident. Seth Godin, the most influential living voice in marketing, defines it like this: "Marketing is the generous act of helping someone solve a problem." Not spam, not interruption, not squeezing the person who wants to leave. Adobe practices the opposite anti-marketing. They treat the customer as a hostage, not a human being. This is an anti-customer, and by now almost anti-human, company. And guess what? The market is already noticing. The stock sits at 8-year lows, market cap collapsed to around $87 billion from over $250 billion at its peak, with the CEO and CFO both heading for the door. You can mistreat your customers for a while, but karma and the market always catch up. Nobody defends a brand that never defended them. My advice: run while you can. And if they hit you with an abusive fee, don't just hand it over, dispute it.

Love the product

Love the product. But hate the customer service. My renewal was up they asked me to confirm my student status. I did this. Instead I was charged the full amount. I was offered a partial discount and would have to cancel the plan and start a new plan, I couldn't keep my original payment date and this cannot be moved ever. The only way is to cancel my subscription and buy it again going through the entire process again having to verify everything again. Worst user and customer experiences out there. They offered further discount, but still couldn't change my payment date to what it originally was.

I purchase a perpetual multiuser…

I purchase a perpetual multiuser licence for CS6 for a large sum of money. Now Adobe will not let me install onto a new PC. And block the licence I paid for. The product and licence show up in my adobe account so it is clearly legitimate. they appear to be deliberately doing this to try and force us to purchase a new subscription. This is their message: It may be blocked due to misuse – or because we no longer support new activations of outdated software and apps. Upgrade your Adobe app to get the latest features and functionality. They have no issue selling you a licence only to move the goal post later. Instead of trying honoring their previous agreements and trying to entice you to buy new products with better features, they use bully tactics instead. Trying to get help from customer support is impossible. they just say we do not support that product anymore good by. I will never purchase another Adobe product as long as I live!
