They bought out my loan from Wells…
They bought out my loan from Wells Fargo in May, 2026. The experience has been horrible at best. When I received notice about the buyout, I contacted Freedom about continuing my auto payments. They had no idea about the situation. Then when they actually took over my loan, I could not continue the auto-payments. Finally, when I tried to make up the payments to go into their auto-payment system, they refused my payments. Run, run away from anything involving this company.

The online portal wasn't working for about 4days. The representative was able to take my payment and submit a technical report to ensure other homeowners didn't experience any loss of mortgages due to not being able to pay online. She was very professional and extremely nice.

I have had this mortgage company for the last year and they have been amazing with the easy automatic payments and having the app to view payments and all the amenities in the app. Never had an issue finding anything
