The sales person said what he sold me will be bottled water quality. Once they took my old system which was working perfectly, the water tasted bitter and awful after the new system was installed. I asked to test the water again and ALK was so high and the TDS was so high. They told me to pay extra to put a reverse osmosis. So actually they sold me a total home system without a reverse osmosis when all i needed to get was a reverse osmosis. When I call them, the customer service says they will return my call and it's been 2 months. I called almost every day. Nobody is answering. I saw a class action case for this company.
After watching a short advertisement on social media night before last, I called, made a appointment for yesterday morning. I decided to purchase and the whole house purification system was installed. The installer Scott Swenhart arrived at 6:30 pm and was finishing and cleaned up by 11:30pm last night. Professional, courteous throughout the whole project. I highly recommend Leaf Home Water Solutions. If you decide to check them out thiers a Sales rep named Robert Hill that shoots it straight. The service department of Leaf Home Water Solutions is terrible. Their service line takes over an hour to reach, they actually don’t have access to technicians to check on why they are late… they send a message to the local office who does not get back to them or me. Then they end up being a no show. What is the point of installing a system that isn’t maintained. Look elsewhere

The problem is Leaf home water solutions is only out for your money. I had a unit installed several months ago and I still have the same problem I had before I spent over 5 k. Which is better than the over 10k they wanted for the 1st one that tried selling me. I was assured that that 5k one was as good as the 10k. Which makes me wonder why they offered the 10k unit. ( to hit me up for more money). I have called several times to get this problem resolved and apparently they are too busy or just don’t care because they already have my money. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company as I assure you, you will be disappointed. Shame on them for taking advantage of senior citizens. From the sales person to customer service, it’s all a joke. Don’t trust them with their lies and poor customer service. Giving them 1 star was being generous. But I couldn’t leave review without it. What does that tell you. P.s. if you even suggest you are looking into getting a lawyer, they will completely shut you down. Once again why would they need so many lawyers to defend themselves. Install was not placed in the agreed upon location. The placement created need to change plans for a renovation as I was told it would have been corrected within the same week which never happened. Within days, the Product’s line failed, flooding my basement and damaging items and I was unaware as I do not visit this space daily. I had to have my regular come out for an Emergency line repair, clean up, and mold remediation. The ignored calls, messages , and complaints for months until I filed a report with the bbb. Despite providing proof they claim that the issue was rectified when it has not been despite having copies of communication saying otherwise. The sales and install team seem great with low pressure until something goes wrong even with in the warrantee for removal. Suddenly calls are unanswered and emails are not received.

After 8 months of constant problems and expensive retro solutions I took it out and installed a Culligan for half the price with zero issues since. They refused any compensation for my troubles. Water Solution’s product is good, but their post-installation service, especially annual maintenance is disappointing. I had their gutter system installed and was told I’d receive better pricing. When I asked about annual maintenance rates, the service manager responded in a dismissive, borderline derogatory tone, basically saying I shouldn’t expect better pricing every time I call. That’s poor service. Lesson learned: get everything in writing and don’t rely on verbal promises.

The water system itself is fine, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. The salesman who sold us our reverse osmosis water filter was incredibly pushy and made several promises—which I have in writing—that he ultimately could not keep. Unfortunately, the company refused to honor what we were promised. To make matters worse, the company was incredibly difficult to reach by phone and repeatedly failed to respond to messages. Overall, dealing with them has been a frustrating experience. While I have no issue with the water system itself, the poor communication and lack of accountability would make me strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

Installed a Leaf Home Water Softener System two days ago. The installer noticed leaks in the water hoses and so tried to stop the leaks with putty. Unfortunately, the newly installed fittings are still leaking. Called the company for assistance but have not received a response. Considering the amount of money I paid for this system, this should not happen.

There salesman Patrick was very nice but most of his claims that got us to purchase the product were contradicted by the installer and never came to fruition. First, there was supposed to be a red light to show when to add salt. This was not true and infact you need to open up the container which was what we did not want. Second, they were supposed to come back after installation to recheck the water contaminants and pressure. They never did and refuse to return calls and texts requesting it. Third, he said if the water is slimy and feels like it does not rinse off and cloudy the settings are off, and they would adjust that when they returned. They never returned. We have waited on hold for 45-60 minutes as well as sent two emails to upper management to no reply. Save yourself the headache, there are too many co.panies out there. Noone needs to deals with this.

It started out positive. We were really impressed when the sales person came out. We have had water softeners in previous homes and yes they do the strip test. The test with this program was very inclusive. Unfortunately, we were lied to. We were told that the system was not on a timer. It could tell when needed to regenerate. The installation was 3 days later on a Thursday. Sunday morning came our basement was flooded. It did its first regeneration. The installer had stuck a drainage hose into a T slot for our hot water heater which with even the slightest pressure came out and sprayed like a fire hose throughout. The 800#s were useless in this situation. The only number I was given was a sales number and it took calling twice to be given the service number. They couldn't find our account, which the sales person had entered incorrectly. After 3 calls (and getting someone in the US) they were able to find our account. She sent emails to the local office. Unfortunately, we did not hear back from them. It was the plumber (which we found out was a contractor and so is the salesperson - who told us that the installer was dedicated to the company but did some work on the side... finding out that it was the opposite). The plumber did come back out and redid the drainage with my husband there the entire time telling him what he should do. Then the local manager came out, said he'd look into what he could do. And up until now, unless we call them, we get zero proactive response. Well the product is good at least... seems to be working... though it throws a breaker every time it regens now...

I would not recommend this system to anyone. Nothing but problems from day 1. Third party installer did not do a good job. Very poor install. Hoses leaking, coming apart,parts coming apart because nothing was tightened. 1 year later they came to service it and the installer had put the wrong cards in. And they still charged me $125 to service it. Im temted to have it Uninstaller and cut my losses. Paid over $5000 for it and I would not give you a plug nickel for it. Do not go with this company

Spencer came and explained their service very well. He was ready for all the questions we came up with . Very professional and definitely found a solution to fit our needs. Patrick came and installed the system today and was also very knowledgeable and professional. It seemed like he just arrived and it was time for him to leave. The new Leaf Home Water Solutions water softener and carbon filtration combo that I purchased and had installed has not worked properly. Instead of producing clean drinking water it often literally generated salt brine out of the tap. Due to health concerns, for a time I had to purchase bottled water in order to have safe drinking water. I contacted the company over a half dozen times when it produced salt brine, and each time a technician would come to my home and by all appearances worked diligently to resolve the issue. But each time they admitted to being unsure why the system failed to work properly. Connecting with customer service was almost always an ordeal as it took being placed on hold for 15-20 minutes or waiting hours for a callback to be able to actually speak with anyone and schedule another service appointment. After each technician visit the water appeared safe for a while, but the problem continued to periodically occur. I dealt with this problem for over six months, then finally three months ago I asked for either a refund or the installation of a new system, but Leaf resisted honoring my request and insisted on yet again conducting further evaluation of the problem. Ironically, I had a certified plumber in my home to work on a separate issue, and while tracing the water line he noticed that the intake and outtake lines on my water softener had been installed in reverse order. It was only after providing this information to Leaf that they offered to provide me with a refund. No apologies, no admission of their error, but hopefully they will honor their pledge to provide me with a full and complete refund.
