The application is easy and versatile

The application is easy and versatile. But the closing of the account is elusive and time-consuming the float of the cash flowing in and out of accounts is too long.

Hi Michael, We’re glad to hear the app feels easy and versatile, and we also hear your frustration about the account closing process and timing. That kind of experience can be discouraging, and we’d like to help make it clearer. I am beyond frustrated with this…

I am beyond frustrated with this company. I initially joined because it was a minimal annual charge. They tripled that charge this year. I had to close the account. Since I am under 55 (59) I had to either pay $100 to transfer the money "officially" or take the tax hit. The most frustrating part is that I went back and forth with customer support for over a week before actually settling things. They don't do rollovers nor "give tax advice" and at least half of the people I interacted with had no idea what to do with an IRA account. Be warned! This is not a casual use platform. Don't use it for a retirement account unless you can invest enough to cover the $100 fee to transfer money out when they do a rediculous increase in fees again.

I'm not a huge fan

I'm not a huge fan. I thought the process of transferring money was Allie as well as picking your sticks. I don't think I ever got my promo money or free stock and they even make deleting your account a hassle. I hate giving bad reviews but I have to be honest. I really wouldn't waste my time. I would use kalshi or something similar

Awesome

It's awesome easy to use and really helps you out

Just noticed the monthly fee went up…

Just noticed the monthly fee went up 300 percent. This WAS a great platform for small time investors, but greed always comes into play, and a 300 percent increase is just pure greed. Small time investors can’t make money if it’s being taken for fees. I wonder how many customers they will lose because of it.

Just read the previous reviews related…

Just read the previous reviews related to them randomly quadrupling the price for the subscription. Mind you, this isn't the first time they've done this -- they previously started charging triple the price monthly for the subscription a few years ago which was buried in all of the other marketing emails they send.

Worst. Brokerage. Ever.

Stash is great at taking your money…they just suck at giving it back to you.
