I ran a small social services business with the goal of simply covering our costs while helping people in our community. Unfortunately, we could no longer financially sustain it and had to close.
Yelp continued charging me for months afterward, leaving me personally responsible for nearly $1,400 in charges. When I contacted Customer Success, I was initially told I had never canceled and was asked to provide proof. Because the business had already closed and our email accounts had been deleted, I no longer had access to those records.
After pushing them to investigate further, Yelp confirmed that I had canceled my Page Upgrades, but then told me that their records also show my advertising budget nearly tripled on that exact same day. It makes absolutely no sense that a business in the process of shutting down would intentionally cancel & triple the budget in the same day.
My experience with Yelp's advertising and cancellation process has been incredibly shady, the Customer Success team has been misleading and not supportive. After this experience, I cannot recommend Yelp to other small business owners at all.
Unless you have unlimited finances, unlimited patience and you don't mind being over charged, hi pressure sales people who don't want to take no for an answer, talk over you, hang up on you, not giving you ALL of the information and have problems getting logged on to the site that should tell you what you are getting for $$$ a day they are charging...AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are not worth the frustration that they cause.
They keep recreating a business that has not existed for more than 10 years. I have had to remove it more than 6 times now. They are a joke and I am fed up with them.
This company has no idea how to collect and post reviews. They let fake competitor reviews stick, and authentic customer reviews are deleted. Shame on them. Learn from Google.
Avoid this company at all costs. They will try and upsell you on the car and then totally abandon you when you get stranded with a flat tire. We have been fighting for the tire reimbursement for two months even though we purchased the full insurance package. They are completely untrustworthy.
I interviewed 3 videographers before hiring Charles King to videotape a Celebration of Life banquet honoring my husband’s stellar Military career. Guests numbered 100. Stories shared were filled with memorable accolades, previously top secret. Charles wove exciting memories, fun stories, and soft grieving with expertise.
My family’s high expectations were exceeded... all ahead of schedule.

Beware. Kerrigan roofers are not what they say. Website says free estimates but for so many reasons we back away from them and they proceeded to send us a bill for the estimate! Plus so many untruths along the way. Beware!!
We don’t use Yelp, never have, and never will. To be honest, I don’t even check our Yelp page.
After two years in business, Yelp publicly displays only a single 1-star review for our business, while 15 legitimate 5-star customer reviews have been filtered into the “not recommended” section where most people never see them. That’s been our experience with the platform.
On top of that, Yelp’s sales team has repeatedly called our business and has been very aggressive with our staff about advertising. Whether that’s related to how reviews are displayed or not, I can’t say. Yelp states that its review recommendation system is automated and not influenced by advertising, but our experience with the platform has left us with very little confidence in it.
For those reasons, we choose to focus our attention on platforms where our customers’ feedback is more consistently visible, such as Google. We appreciate every member who takes the time to leave an honest review, and that’s where we encourage people to share their experiences.
I was a loyal client for 3 years. They implemented a cancellation fee of 50% of the service you were to have. I called 1 hour past the 24 hours and explained the cancellation was due to a family emergency. Guess what, they tried to charge my debit card (luckily it was locked) and said they no longer wanted my business. Harsh, thoughtless, money hungry.
Yelp is an extorsonist company. They hide good reviews and highlight poor reviews. That is unless you pay for advertising. The minute you stop your ads (because they don't work), most of your good reviews will disappear.
Sooner or later businesses learn the hard way. Don't learn the hard way. Stay away!
Walked into Sew Original on Tues.,8/4/26, and nobody greeted me or even asked if I need help. One salesperson was stuffing their mouth with lunch and the other one was talking to her. This quilting store needs
a lot of TLC and the employees need to practice their salesmanship. I will never go in there again.

I have been an investor with Noble Capital for approximately 8 years. For the past 5 years, I have made repeated requests for the return of my invested principal. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the matter, Noble Capital has not returned my funds.
In addition, the company has suspended payment of interest on my existing investment. This failure to return capital and to meet ongoing interest obligations raises serious concerns about Noble Capital’s management practices, transparency, and overall treatment of its investors.
Based on my experience, I would caution prospective investors to exercise extreme diligence before committing funds to this firm. A financial institution that does not return principal when requested, and suspends interest payments without resolution, demonstrates a lack of reliability and accountability.
We are small business and one morning Yelp calls me and tells me shows me numbers and figures that I can reach to. The guy M promised to call the next day to set. up campaign and ended up charging $150 without setting up my campaign, when I noticed the charge and questioned, a lady got back saying, I can get you a refund ONLY if you are ready to continue with us. What a lame agency! You don't care about small business, you want to rob a slice from them. I do not recommend Yelp, they do not even respond to emails and they won't help you. They are good at charging you and lying to you about leads that never happens. I wish I didn't pick up their call.
Yelp called me and called me until they finally convinced me to run ads with them lied completely and charged me 150 on first week after they said it will take a month they are really dishonest and I would never trust them
