We recently added another website to our portfolio running the Hotel Booking plugin. We required some changes to be made to the way certain items were displayed. For each instance of change MotoPress support were able to very quickly help us with a simple method to make these changes. We were also able to identify other methods from their extensive help section on their website.
We have found their customer service to be excellent and they have always found us a solution.

I purchased an all-in plugin package, expecting it to be a one-time purchase. After one year, they charged me again without any prior notice, as if a subscription for WordPress plugins was automatically required.
When I tried to download the plugins I had already purchased, I found that I no longer had access. I contacted customer support, but unfortunately, I was treated in a very rude and unprofessional manner.
The plugins themselves are well made and technically good, but the way the company handles customers feels like a typical example of aggressive subscription-based business practices. A good product deserves good customer service and transparency, and unfortunately, that was missing in my experience.

We'd like to clarify the situation regarding your license and download access. When your subscription renewed, you requested a refund, saying that you did not want it to be renewed. A refund request was submitted, and our team approved and processed that refund promptly. As part of reversing the renewal transaction, your license expiration date was also reverted to its previous date, as if the renewal had not taken place. This is why the plugin files are no longer available for download — the refund fully reversed the renewal, including the extended access period that came with it.
Regarding the concern about our subscription practices, we'd like to respectfully clarify a few points:
- The annual subscription terms are clearly presented at checkout before purchase.
- Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time directly from your personal account.
- We send a renewal reminder notification in advance of each billing cycle.
We understand that renewal charges can sometimes come as a surprise, which is why we processed your refund without delay once your request was submitted.

Purchased the Hotel Booking PriceLabs Integration addon expecting minimum stay requirements to sync — this is explicitly described in their own product FAQ and in PriceLabs' documentation for this integration. After 3+ months, support confirmed minimum stay sync was never built and isn't planned. This same issue was flagged in their own community forum over a year prior. For any property manager, dynamic pricing without minimum stay control isn't usable during peak season. Refund was refused citing a 30-day policy, despite the product not matching its own description.
But Motopress team after two months updated the feature for us. We finally can use it.

Hotel Booking seemed like the best solution for our project, and that’s definitely proven to be the case.
I had just two minor adjustments I needed help with, so I reached out to support, and they found a solution for me.
I therefore recommend this solution to anyone who needs to set up a bed-and-breakfast booking service.
I purchased the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin for my B&B with 5 rooms, expecting it to help manage bookings across platforms like Booking.com.
The plugin does support iCalendar synchronization, but what is not clearly communicated is that this is not real-time synchronization. In practice, updates happen with delays (e.g. every 15 minutes), which creates a real risk of double bookings for multi-room properties.
For a small accommodation business, this limitation is critical and makes the plugin difficult to use reliably in a real-world environment. This important aspect should be much clearer before purchase.
In addition, when I raised my concerns and requested a refund, support was not helpful in finding a practical solution. Instead, the response focused mainly on why the refund would not be granted, rather than addressing the usability issue for my specific case.
While the plugin may work for very simple setups, I would not recommend it for properties that require reliable, near real-time synchronization across multiple booking platforms.
I believe more transparency about the limitations of iCalendar sync would help customers make a better-informed decision.
You better PRAY that it can actually do what you want it to do. Because if not, there is NO REFUNDS. And when you say what you understood it could do, they RUDELY state that it never could and no refund can be given. This is the most WILD company I have ever seen. The only people who won't refund for something like this is someone who knows its terrible... Had so much hope for them, but the plugin is insanely slow, and doesn't do half of what you think it can do.
We have been using the Hotel booking plugin and other of their addons for 5 years and are very satisfied with the functionality and support provided.
The website continues to achieve between 40-50% direct bookings (other OTA channels the rest).
A recent improvement to the availability calendar with some custom CSS makes the availability calendar even better (due to our min stay being 2 nights) and Eugene provided this CSS for us. We simply had to copy and paste it. Excellent personal service and above and beyond what most other suppliers offer.
If you are considering a plugin which allows customers to book direct which is simple and easy to use; yet customisable to your own business needs, then we can wholeheartedly recommend MotoPress.
