Best PC ever and Bryant is Dope AD

One of the best pc companies out there, they had the best parts and amazing cases for such a good price. My old CLX computer i got from some other site was small and nonupgradable and was half the price of this one and that was using old stuyff no less. My pc was only 3k and i got beautiful cherry blossoms which i love, as a case. They did an amazing job and ive been loving my pc ive had it for 7 months now! And Bryant was amazing he checked in with me and made sure everything looked good and was ready to answer any questions i had!!

Great Twice!

This is my second experience with Origin. The first was a few years prior for a custom PC; I made a Chronos. This go-around, I wanted a lightweight laptop. So, I looked at their deals and customized a NLS-16. I have had the laptop for a few days, so I cannot comment on the longevity. However, the ordering process was great, similar to my first order. For this order, I had the customer representative Jay F., who kept me updated on the progress of the build and answered all questions I had during the process. I love the design, its light weight, a cool grey, and not flashy. While Origin machines can become very flashy and customized, I chose this one because of its minimalism, and I am glad they provide both options.

Overpriced Origin EVO17‑S

I purchased the Origin EVO17‑S in early 2023, expecting the same durability and performance I experienced with an older Origin laptop I bought in 2012—which still works reliably today. Unfortunately, this newer model has been a disappointment. The EVO17‑S is significantly overpriced given its build quality and performance issues. Less than a year into ownership, the keyboard began malfunctioning, requiring me to ship the laptop back for repairs at a personal cost of $76. Even after service, several keys still randomly stop working. During one support call, an Origin agent acknowledged that recent models do not match the quality of past versions. Battery performance is also poor, dropping to around 15% after only two hours of continuous use. Additionally, the speakers produce very weak sound, making audio difficult to hear. Overall, the EVO17‑S lacks the reliability and value expected at its premium price point.

Excellent Customer Service

I ordered the PC and then decided to change some components the next day, but that was not a problem. I called customer service and talked with Oliver, and he made the changes for me. Jay F was the sales rep who I worked with via email, and he was very helpful, he confirmed that the changes to the order were made before assembly began and provided updates throughout the process. The computer arrived the following week and is working great. This is the second PC I have ordered from Origin, they build great products and provide excellent service.
