I had found Ovago through Kayak who showed them as a few hundred dollars cheaper than other options and at first was happy to be able to talk to a very responsive agent. I approved the ticket they proposed and entered my credit card information about about 1,200$ for my roundtrip tickets. I was then a bit unhappy to get an email that the price rose a few hundred dollars as they said a different passenger beat them to the deal. I agreed and gave them approval to charge my card the higher price. However I was astounded to get a roughly 120,000 dollar credit card charge that was immediately blocked by my card. I contacted customer support at Ovago about this and they claimed at first that I must be mistaken, I then provided proof of the charge and they said they would investigate. All the while, the same agent who charged me that huge amount kept emailing me trying to get me to pay. This comes across as a huge scam and I had to void my card so that this company could not attempt to try to drain my account at a later time.
Edit: I see their reply. I have a record from my credit card company that a charge of over 100,000 dollars was made. Why dont you just admit it was an issue and say sorry? Because when you deny this, it makes it look like something much much worse.

HUGE MISTAKE BOOKING WITH THIS FRAUDULANT COMPANY!!!
Booking through this company was a massive mistake, and I regret it every day. I chose Ovago to save a couple hundred dollars on an international flight, and that “deal” has turned into months of frustration and stress.
The airline canceled my flight. Under U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, when an airline cancels a flight, passengers are legally entitled to a full refund if they choose not to rebook. I chose not to rebook. End of story, or at least it should have been.
Instead, Ovago has made getting my legally owed refund an absolute nightmare. Endless delays, excuses, and stonewalling, as if consumer protection laws are optional suggestions. I’m now going into my second month still waiting for my money, despite the cancellation being entirely out of my control and clearly covered by DOT refund requirements.
Let me be crystal clear: when things go wrong, Ovago does not have your back. They will gladly take your money, then fight you every step of the way to give it back, even when the law is on your side.
Save yourself the time, stress, and rage. Do not book through Ovago. Book directly with the airline and avoid this mess entirely. The small upfront savings are absolutely not worth the headache, delays, and disrespect.

The available flight option and associated airline fees were shared and accepted, after which the ticket was successfully reissued.
Subsequently, the itinerary was impacted by an involuntary schedule change initiated by the airline. However, this change was minor. Due to the status displayed on the carrier’s website, we contacted the airline to review the itinerary and confirm its status. According to the carrier, the flight appears as “cancelled” due to flight renumbering; however, despite the minor schedule change, the flight remains operational. As such, a full refund is not permitted.
We also noted that a Cancel for Any Reason package was added to the reservation at the time of booking. Our service team advised that if you wish to proceed with a refund request, it may be processed in accordance with the package’s guidelines.

While OVAGO did provide the tickets promised I had a terrible experience with the eSim I purchased through them... it didn't work despite following all instructions and going through customer service. They then failed to respond for days while I'm in another country and would later not provide a refund for a service not provided. Very poor business practice and a complete lack of care for your customers. Will never use again.

I just booked the flight. They called me and said due to technical error, it didn't go through. Also told the price increased, they want to get more money from me. They are cheater. Never buy ticket from them. WORST experiance.

We base in Canada. Month of June upon booking it’s all in CAD currency then suddenly upon paying it becomes USD we call the costume service after 1 weeks when I notice my bank the price we pay is not match, we feel scammed.Upon talking to costumer service they guarantee us to have free seats arrangement and $200 vouchers to use in our next flight, with me and my husband that time I’m not yet pregnant we have a peace of mind that everything is settled.
