It is a joke that some give this company good reviews when this company so obviously defrauds its customers. In our case, my wife was given a price for a reservation, provided her credit card information, clicked confirm, and only then did $50.00 of fees appear, non-refundable. Since this was without authorization, this qualifies as fraud under our State's criminal statutes. Do not do business with this fraud of a company. Edit to provide our Order/reservation number to the response...bro-7853-844626-8513. Please note we immediately attempted to cancel reservation when hit unexpectedly with the $50.00 fraudulent charge and the agent essentially told us to pound sand, it was non-refundable. We were making a reservation in Florida for the Embassy Suites on Mckinley drive in Tampa (or Spectrum). Florida law for fraud includes these elements, all of which we have here>>>A False Statement: There must be a misrepresentation of a material (important) fact, or a concealment/failure to disclose a fact when there is a duty to disclose. Knowledge of Falsity: The person making the statement knew it was false, or made it with reckless indifference/disregard for the truth. Intent to Deceive: The statement was made with the specific intent to induce the other party to act (or refrain from acting) based on it. Justifiable Reliance: The victim reasonably and justifiably relied on the false statement. Damages / Injury: The victim suffered actual financial, legal, or physical injury or harm as a direct result of relying on that statement. Your booking amount online was X amount, and only when confirmed were we hit with Y amount ($50 more). To me it is the principle involved, not the amount of money. We do not appreciate being deceived and scammed in the manner you did so. My wife did not even realize she was not dealing directly with Embassy Suites, but a Third Party, because of the deception.
